A King's Story: High in the Skies

"Peace is already here. With all Kingdoms agreeing with eachother, we're fine." Abee rolled his eyes. "Mind, I have an odd feeling that if one King rules all then it'll be like how whites treated blacks: everyone who can't control Earth will be treated harshly."

 

"Not good, I hope this power is something that really helps because without it we're just a small group of people going up against an entire kingom" Opal looked down.

 

"Small group, Big Kingdom, One man." Abee said.

 

"Well, let's take down that one man for good. But how are we meant to get to him?" She asked quietly.

 

"..... I got it." Abee grinned. "We'll each enter the Kingdom at different points and with different background stories. Me and You. Alphonse and Kami. Tsuyoki and Cori. Akito and the twins. Kazune and Xyam." He smiled. "Some of us will try to get jobs as soldiers or servants while the others go around town, gathering gossip about the King. When we think the time is right, the people as soliders and servants can lead the rest inside, disgusied as servants too then we can get to Kotarou."

 

"I like it and you are clever, that is not logic, that's sheer brilliance" She laughed.

 

Abee smiled at her. "Thank you."

 

"hold up!" Tsuyoki yelped, raising his hand.

"Who's Cori again?"

 

Abee pointed over at the white bird. "He's a Chimera."

 

Tsuyoki stared at the bird, trying to blink away his confusion.

"Isn't a chimera a goat lion with a snake tail that goes rawr?"

 

Opal looked at the bird and raised her eyebrows, "fair enough"

 

"Thats a myth. Apparently it was the first Chimera to be made. But a Chimera is when two living beings are fused together at the core." Abee said.

Abee nodded.

 

Tsuyoki grumbled.
"The only fusion I see is of bird and more bird."

 

Opal laughed "You've got a point there. So, what are the two beings fused?"

 

"Human and almost all the genes of any kind of animal." Abee said. "Thats why he can transform into anything."

 

Tsuyoki froze. Fear spread through his veins.

"But that defys the laws of everything!"

 

"Oh, so he only looks like a bird because he wants to. He's like a shapeshifter, right?" Opal sighed, she was learning a lot of new things on this journey.

 

"Yeah. Like how Akito and Alphonse don't have emotions because they don't show them, its because they don't HAVE them. They're Chimeras too. They have all the elements and can use them even though they were both born with only one." Abee said, nodding.
Alphonse noticed they were talking about him. Blinking, he walked over to them as Hate came from his body. "You're talking about me." He said blankly.

"Kinda." Abee said before waving at Alphonse.

 

"Well then..."

Tsuyoki squinted, poking Cori's downy feathers.

"What's he do about clothes?"

 

Abee shrugged then nodded at Alphonse. "Yeah. Tsuyoki is trying to get around the Chimera fact."
Alphonse blinked then looked at Tsuyoki. "Its not that difficult to understand." He said, his voice still blank.
