A King's Story: High in the Skies

Opal laughed and shook her head, "Boys..." she muttered

 

"Maybe for you Fire and brimstoney folks, but where I come from, I'm the weirdest thing you see. Transforming birds and soilent robots are not in out way of thinking."

 

Opal looked at him, "I'm water, you just need an open mind"

 

"I'm from the Twilight Kingdom. Made in the Electricity Kingdom." Alphonse pointed out. "And I'm not a robot. I have parents and I was born the natural way other people are born."

 

I said soylant robot. That means the robots are made of people. This means you have no emotions, like other robots.

 

"Yet I remember what its like to have th-"
"SOYALNT ROBOT!?" Alphonse was cut off by Hate floating over, extrememly pissed off. "You can you call US a robot! ROBOTS ARE HALF-ASSED IDIOTS!" He shouted at Tsuyoki.
Alphonse watched him. "Hate. Don't shout at him."

 

"Well, maybe you're robots are." Tsuyoki replied absent mindedly. "However, I always heard of robots to be wonderfully intelligent.

 

"Don't pull that bullshiit with me pal." Hate glared at him. "Alphonse was born 3 years and 3 months ago after his parents did it 9 months before. He is FULLY human except his emotions are outside his body, thus giving him the title of a Chimera now."
Alphonose looked at Tsuyoki. "Hate is what his name states."

 

Tsuyoki stared at the pair, his gaze became deeper and more piercing.
"Without emotions you can't be called a human. You may have been one once, but you aren't now."

 

"OKAY THEN!" Hate shouted. Flying into Alphonse, he instantly scowled at him. "WHAT ABOUT NOW?! I HAVE HATE INSIDE ME AND I CAN BLOODY WELL GET THE OTHERS IN TOO!"

 

"eeewww!" Tsuyoki gagged, shivers going up his spine.

"Well, if that's the case, go get them back."

 

Alphonose frowned. "Whats so disgusting?" He asked.

 

"Well, you know! You jumped all up in his body and went all sploosh! It is like conjoining siamise twins that had already been seperated.!"

 

"Hate's a part of me. Its natural for this to happen." Alphonse said sourly before Hate coming out of him again.
"Easily done. If it's so disgusting, try seeing us all go into him at once." Hate mocked.

 

"I don't get it. If it is so easy to fuse back together, why don't you all become one again?"

 

"Because Dr Cid wanted to be a baastard. He put a chemical in his and Akito's bodies like anti-bodies. They'll attack us if we stay in him for too long." Hate said, shrugging.
"I stay emotionless until that chemical is gone." Alphonse said.

 

Tsuyoki nodded slowly, scooping up Cori and nestling him in his shirt pocket.

"Very well, lead the way to our destination."

 

"Can't. This mist is blocking our way so we;re resting until sunrise and the mist is gone." Alphonse said then pointing the the four roads. "And we have no idea which way."

 

"What if Cori and I rose above it? We could probably carry you all if we try hard enough."

 

"Most of us can't fly and we're settling down for the night." Alphonse said before walking away.
