A King's Story: High in the Skies

Kyma coughed.
Cori tilted his head, "For some reason, I don't find this odd."

 

Koyashi turned to Cori. Why not?

"You smell familiar."
Kyma blinked at him.

 

Do I now? Koyashi rubbed his chin. And how would you know my scent?

 

Cori meowed before he spoke, "I don't, as I said, it's just familiar."

 

Interesting...
Kami grew furious. Answer my question.

 

Cori remained quiet.
Kyma was still quiet

 

Fiesty one are you? Koyashi chuckled as the roots tightened around Kami.
Kami let out a silent scream.
Koyashi turned to Kyma and Cori. Any of you have a better question?

 

Kyma nodded, "Yeah.. where did Cori go?" she said smiling.
Cori was gone.

 

Koyashi looked to where Cori was. Then he closed his eyes and chuckled again. Intriguing...

 

Cori had turned into a mouse, the roots he had slipped out of where still chasing him.

 

Simple tricks like that won't work. Koyashi snapped his fingers and a large portion of the ground around Cori began to sink.

 

Cori turned into a humming bird quickly and flew over it, "Woah.."

 

Koyashi waved his hand around. Suddenly, roots popped out of the ground and sprang up, trapping Cori. You're becoming a nusence.

Cori frowned as he didn't move, he did want to bother hurting himself.
"It was a nice try though!"
"Whose side are you on?"
"Well I have to be on my parents side and that's the earth kings side so yeah.."

Koyashi shook his head. Looks like there's a rivalry. He pulled the roots holding Kyma towards him. So I'm guessing you're the Air Kingdom princess.

 

"And you know that how?" she asked ignoring Cori's evil glare.

 

Like I said, it's just a guess. Koyashi turned to Kami, who was slumped by the pressure she had around her.

 

Kyma started struggling again.

 

Strugggle anymore, and I'll squeeze the guts right out of you. Koyashi brought Kami towards him. And who may this be? She looks awfully familiar.
