A King's Story: High in the Skies

Vines fought off the water as Koyashi continued to watch Kami and Alphonose.

 

Opal paused and sucked the water out of the vines making the whip stronger as she glanced around quickly, paranoid about the ground sinking. She transformed the whip into a sword made of water and swung at him.

 

Koyashi took a step back at every swing until Opal managed to cut him. Now who knew water could hurt. He wiped the blood and licked it.

 

Opal laughed "There's a lot of things water can do. Anyway, apart from kidnapping Kami, what did you want from us?" She kept the sword near his throat.

OOC: Koyashi tried to kidnap Kami, Alphonose saved her but then Kami seperated them in the air, I think. Opal fought Koyashi.

 

Heh. Koyashi slightly moved the sword from his throat. My intentions are none of your business.

OOC: Well pretty much what Midnight Star said. Not sure what to add.

 

Opal moved the water sword round but still kept it near his throat, "Well, you barging into our camp and trying to kidnap Kami kinda made it our business, but what do you want? Why are we even fighting?"

 

What makes you think I'll talk? Am I going to die if I keep my mouth shut?

 

Opal considered this then shrugged, "Nah, I'm not a heartless killer. I don't really care, I was just curious. I thought there should be a good reason for all us to fight otherwise it's just pointless. So, no I won't force you to talk but I hope you will"

 

Koyashi looked at her and chuckled slightly. Way to stay calm. I can respect that. Suddenly. he vanished in the mist.

 

Opal blinked a few times, shook her head, sighed and walked slowly away.

 

All of a sudden, the ground sank quickly, trapping Opal. Now, now. Where do you think you're going?

 

Opal span around and quickly tried to leap out but was too late. She looked around, searching for a way out, frowning. "I thought you'd gone and wasn't going to dwell on our meeting. What do you want?"

 

Koyashi appeared from under the ground. I just thought more than one hostage would be better.

 

Opal frowned at him, her mind still searching for a way out, "But I'll ask again, what do you want? What are you planning on using me to make them do?"

 

Koyashi looked to the sky. All in good time.

 

Opal rolled her eyes, this boy was beginning to annoy her, "Wait, I don't even know your name or who you are. May I please have the honor of knowing your name at least?" She was making herself sick, "Your clearly quite powerful, I wonder if this is all your own idea or someone else is using you. I hope it's the first one"

 

Koyashi turn to her. The name's Koyashi. This isn't all me. And who I work for is yet again none of your business. He turned back to the sky.

 

Opal smiled slightly, "So, you do work for someone, shame." She noticed him looking up "Anyway, what are you looking for up there?" She gazed upwards. At the same time she sucked wated slowly out of the soil and into her small bottle. She wasn't planning on using it now, it wasn't enough to be very effective but it might come in useful later.
