A King's Story: High in the Skies

Cori blinked, "WOAH!! What the hell happened to you?"
Kyma didn't respond, she put her sword away and walked away from him.

 

Akito walked to Alphonse and placed a hand on his shoulder.

After locking Kami in a room, Koyashi made his way down the hall. Now what can I do?

 

Kazune laughed slightly. "I guess."

Alphonse looked up at Akito. Tears were streaming down his face.
Hate stared at him. "B-But Sadness isn't inside you!"
"I'm not..." Sadness appeared next to Hate, watching Alphonse cry.

Kotarou listened to the woods. "But how would I do that?"
"Ni-NiGATIO!" It screamed.
Kotarou's eyes widened. "That brat?!" He instantly ran out of his room, still in his sleepwear. Many of the maids he passed diverted their eyes for him.

 

"how does he end up being born here though?"

 

Akito's eyes widened slightly but were still blank. Alphonse is crying. How.

Koyashi stood in the hall as he saw Kotarou pass by. I wonder where the Master is off to. he thought to himself.

 

Cori watched her walk away and grabbed her hand, "Please, Kyma."
Kyma stood still for a second before she ripped her hand away from his and flew off.
Cori's eyes started to fill with tears as he yelled up at her, "B!TCH! I thought you were my friend!"

Raia watched what was going on and sat over next to Kaia.
Kaia threw a stone at a nearbye tree.

 

Nigaito tapped the side of his nose, grinning still.

"Thats impossible...." Sadness muttered.
Alphonse started to wail, crying his eyes out.
Hate bit his lip. "Somethings wrong here."

Kotarou stopped and spun on his heel. Grabbing Koyashi by the shirt, he lifted him from the ground. "Ever heard of a boy named 'Nigaito'? Meant to be the Water Prince?"

 

Akito stood in silence.

Koyashi stayed still, not showing a bit of struggle. No Master. I- oh wait. I believe I have.

 

Alphonse cried harder. "Kami...."

Kotarou smirked and dropped him. Putting his hands on his hips, he looked at him. "Good. I have another mission for you then."

 

Akito sat beside him. We'll get her back.

Koyashi knelt down to him. Yes Master. What be your bidding?

 

Alphonse's crying died down to small sobs then to nothing. Staring at the floor, he nodded slightly.

"Find him. He is in the woods somewhere and I have a good idea where." Kotarou smirked. "Head to the mist covered crossroads then head into the woods from there. By the way..." He looked up. "If you see Alphonse, tell him you're welcome."

 

Akito helped Alphonose up.

Koyashi nodded his head. As you wish Master. He wondered what Kotarou meant by 'You're welcome' but he knew better than to ask.

 

Alphonse stood up, still staring at the floor.
Hate floated over to him. "Hey, you okay?"
Alphonse looked up at him, glaring at him. "Get stuffed."
Hate's eyes widened. "First sadness, now hate. How is he feeling these emotions without us inside him!?"

"Go on. Move it." Kotarou frowned. "I am not in the best of moods being woke up in the middle of the night."

 

Akito tilted his head. Very strange.

Koyashi stood up and bowed. My dearest apologies. He turned and quickly made his way out of the castle.

 

"This is CONFUSING ME!" Hate held his head.
Alphonse crossed his arms, looking away. "Half the time, YOU confused ME."
"Since when?!"
"Since I met you."
"How can I confused YOU?!"
"Easily."
Hate glared at him then flew off. "Hatee's easier to talk to..."

Kotarou turned and went back to his room. Flopping down on the bed, he looked up at the ceiling. Soon i'll be with you. Just wait. He smiled slightly.

 

Akito simply blinked. Hissy fit.

Koyashi follwed Kotarou's directions. Man am I tired.

 

"Shut up." Alphonse frowned and headed back to camp.

Kotarou sat up and opened up his bedside table drawer. Pulling out a small red string, he twisted it between his fingers. "Red string of fate."

Akito followed him, not knowing what to do.

Koyashi yawned as he made it to the location. This is where Master Kotarou said he was. What exactly did he want me to do?

 

Alphonse sat on the floor, glaring at the grass.

Nigaito hung upside-down from a branch next to Koyashi. He didn't even notice him.

Kotarou smiled and put the string away. With the link that Nigaito has to his mother, I can use him to speak to her. If Koyashi manages to kidnap him.
