A King's Story: High in the Skies

Kami turned to Cid. You don't sound too convincing.

 

Xyam found little ducks. She poked the ducks.

"What has MY life got to do with you?!" Cid glared at her.
Kotarou looked at Cid. "Drop it."

Haruhi shrugged and walked away, back to Hikaru.
Hikaru was by the controls, manning the airship. They had flew away from the mist field and was heading back to the Fire Kingdom.
"Hey." Haruhi smiled at him and sat in the seat next to him.

 

Kami just stood quitely, many thoughts running though her head.

 

Kotarou streched his wings and then pulled them back in. "If you're so interested in Cid's life then you can stay here until I think of a better reason to keep you here." He left the room.
Cid sat down in a chair, thinking.

 

Kami stood still.
Koyashi followed Kotarou out. I apologize for this complication, Sir.

 

"Its fine. It'll bring her boyfriend here and I can kill him then." Kotarou smirked.

"Tell you what. Why are you interested?" Cid asked.

 

Exxcellent plan, Master.Koyashi smiled inside.

Kami sighed and sat in a nearby chair. I'm not sure. I just have a feeling that tell me you might not be telling the truth.

 

"His father killed mine. Might as well take revenge." Kotarou looked at Koyashi.

Cid sighed and reached into his back pocket. Bringing out a picture, he handed it to Kami. "My sons. Twins. Karou and Hikaru." He smiled slightly.

OOC: <insert epic dramatic music here>

 

Koyashi nodded. I see.

Kami looked at the photo and gasped.

OOC: <Dunt dunt dun!> Kewl ^w^

 

"That was before the fire. I look different then." Cid sighed. "I was meddling around with chemicals and one blew up in my face. It set the house on fire and their mother was trapped in a room. Karou and Hikaru tried to save her but she told them to run. I stayed behind to rescue her and got out in time with her." He looked down at the floor. "Unfortunatly the smoke got to her lungs and she died a week later. I was heartbroken and the twins were very upset. I started to carry on with my work again up away from the house so no one else could die. I got a job in the Labratories in the Fire Kingdom and spent more time alone."

"You see, I can't just kill the King. That would start up a war." Kotarou said.

 

Kami listened carefully, not wanting to interupt him.

Koyashi nodded in agreement. Goodbye, little boy.

 

"Of course, the more I needed to be at work, the less I saw of the twins. They grew up by themselves. When they were 13, they apporached me one day and told me that 'I was dead to them'. That upset me but at the time, I was too angry to care. When I came home, they had gone, their bedroom was empty." Cid frowned. "I couldn't stand being in the Fire Kingdom any more. So I sold the house and left for the Electricity Kingdom. I soon got a job there and became the head when you were born. Then when Alphonse was born I was ordered to kidnap him from your parents. I took him and did alterations like ordered. But everyday I think of those two, wondering where they are."

 

OOC: Kami knows them, right?
BIC:

Kami looked at Cid, feeling sorry for what he has gone through. I'm sure they're alright.

 

OOC: Yush. They're Kazune's most trusted servants.
BIC:

"Wherever they are, I hope so." Cid looked at Kami. "Have you met them?"

 

OOC: I know but I didn't know if she met them. I know Mei did,
BIC:

Kami looked down them back up to Cid. Yes, actually.

 

"What're they like?" Cid asked.

 

They're really happy boys. A little strange at times though. But they're very funny. Kami smiled.

 

"Does Hikaru still act sensible?" Cid asked.

 

OOC: Correct if I'm wrong for I forget who's who...
BIC:

Yes. Very much. Kami smiled.
