A King's Story: High in the Skies

Alphonse blushed. "You sound l-like you're making a w-wedding vow...."

 

Kami was in a trance. She shook her head and started blushing. S-Sorry. She turned her head shyly to the side.

 

Alphonse smiled. "Its okay."

 

Kami smiled back. She placed her head on his shoulder and pulled him a bit closer to her.

 

Alphonse held her tight, smiling.
Nigaito was shoved in teh room by a guard. Landing on the floor, he looked up at Alphonse. "AL!" He smiled and ran to him, hugging him too.
Alphonse frowned and struggled. "Get the HELL off me! GET LOST!" He kicked Nigaito away and glared at him. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"
Nigaito blinked, hurt. "Al? It's me! Nigaito!"
"Doesn't ring a bell." Alphonse continued to glare at him.

 

Kami looked at Nigaito then Alphonse. You don't remember him?

 

"Never met whoever this guy is." Alphonse narrowed his eyes.
Nigaito looked up. "So thats it...." He looked at Alphonse. "You don't remember me. Or any of the Chosen Ones. Who's your mother?"
"Megurine Luka."
"Father?"
"Haine Kotarou." Alphonse said bluntly.
Nigaito instantly smiled. "Seems that Kotarou has adopted Alphonse here as his son."

 

What? Kami looked at Nigaito again. T-That's not right.

 

"His biological father is Reese and Kaida Memoria yet when Alphonse was turned evil, those names are replaced." Nigaito said, putting his hands behind his back.
Alphonse glared at him. "THOSE NAMES MEAN NOTHING TO ME! KOTAROU AND LUKA ARE MY PARENTS!" He stood up, shouting.

 

C-Calm down, Alphonse. Kami held his shoulders.

 

Nigaito watched Alphonse. "Got his temper alright."
Alphonse clenched his fists.
"He's very happy-go-lucky but easy to piss off, don't you think Kami?" Nigaito laughed.
Alphonse pushed Kami away and aimed a punch at Nigaito.
Nigaito moved his head slightly, the punch missing.
Alphonse countered and immediatly punched Nigaito in the gut, sending him flying across the room.
Nigaito landed on the floor, holding his gut.

 

Alphonse! Stop! Kami shouted.

 

Alphonse stopped and looked back at Kami. Dropping his hands to his sides, he then looked down. "Sorry...."
Nigaito sat up, wincing in pain. "Stronger then I imagined..."

Hikaru had gone slightly pale and took a step back. Suddenly, he ran out from the room.
Haruhi watched him go then sighed. "Like most of the Fire Kingdom, they're scared of Nobodies thanks to Erix and his father."

"I figured as much, but he had to find out sometime" she sighed. "To be honest I thought he already knew"

 

Kami stood up from the bed. She walked over to Nigaito and sat down beside him. Are you okay?

 

Haruhi shook her head. "Only I knew." She sighed. "Don't be upset. Nobodies to the Fire Kingdom are like the bogeymen to children. Only they're real."

Nigaito nodded. "F-Fine.... Just w-winded...."
Alphonse sat back on his bed, staring at his hands.

 

Can you stand up? Kami wrapped her arm around him.

 

"Am I that scary?"

 

Nigaito smiled at her. "I'll be fine. I'm just w-winded..."
Alphonse frowned. Whatever that guys saying, its not true....

Haruhi put her hands up in defense. "No! Its not that you're scary, its WHAT you are. Erix and his father were ruthless Nobodies who everyone hated and feared. They think that Kazune is a Somebody, thats why everyone likes him. But sooner or later he'll have to speak the truth."

Hikaru sat in his room, under the duvet. Xyam's a Nobody..... Does Kazune know this..? Is Kazune a Nobody too?!

 

"But he knows we wouldn't do anything like what Erix did"
