A King's Story: High in the Skies

I'd still like to lie you down for a bit. Kami stood up, helping Nigaito stand.

 

"I know...." Haruhi sat down in a chair. "But those twins keep tons of secrets that they don't even tell their most trusted. Hikaru told me a secret but he made me swear on my life that I wouldn't tell anyone else." She stared at Lawliet. "Hikaru could actually hate you, Lawliet and Kazune in secret. But he doesn't, that I know."

After what Erix did to big brother.... Hikaru shuddered.

Nigaito put his arm around Kami's shoulders, helping himself stay standing.
Alphonse watched them both. If Kami trusts him, then I guess I should slightly....

 

Xyam hugged Lawliet closer and stroked his forehead. "There's no doubt that he might avoid us for a while though"

 

Haruhi nodded. "Thats just how they both are. Me and Kaiko keep little secrets but we're pretty much open. Hikaru and Karou, on the other hand, are like riddles."

 

"Yeah, I guess i'll just have to try gain his trust all over again"

 

"I'll help. I'll talk to him tonight and try to get him to trust you again." Haruhi smiled.

Hikaru's backpocket viabrated. Taking out the pad, he answered. "Hello?"
Kazune's face appeared. "Hi Hikaru." He smiled.
Hikaru stared at him. "Hey..."
"What's wrong? I was just calling to see if Xyam was okay."
"Xyam's fine, Lawliets been born. He looks just like you."
"Really?! Excuse me, I'm gonna do a backflip."
Hikaru laughed slightly. "Listen... Kazune?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you....? Are you.... Human?"

 

Xyam smiled. "Thankyou" She looked from Haruhi to Lawliet. "Wanna hold him?"

 

Kami slowly walked to the bed, holding Nigaito. Excuse me Alphonse.

 

Haruhi smiled, nodding. She picked Lawliet up and held him. "He's so small..."

Alphonse shifted up to make room for Nigaito.

 

Kami help Nigaito onto the bed. Now, rest up, okay?

 

Nigaito sighed then nodded. "Fine."
Alphonse watched him.

 

Kami stood next to Alphonse. She looked to him slightly. What has Kotarou do to you?

 

Alphonse blinked and looked up at Kami. "What?"

 

Kami shook her head slightly. Oh nothing. I was just thinking about something.

 

Alphonse watched her then looked back at Nigaito. "So green head. Who are you?"
Nigaito looked at his hair and clothes. "Is it wrong to like the colour green?" Shrugging, he looked at Alphonse. "My name is Nigaito ul el Laputis. Prince of the Water Kingdom. My father is Kaito ul el Laputis: The King. I'm 13 years old and I like teh colour green. Also, I have a tie to my mother and I can see lights."

 

Kami stayed silent as the two spoke.

 

Alphonse laughed. "You can see LIGHTS?!" He laughed harder.
Nigaito sighed, putting a lot of effort into it to make it look dramatic. "Yeah, lights. A group of black and red ones are floating by your head right now Alphonse, surrounding a small yellow one."

 

Really? Kami sat by Nigaito. Please tell.

 

"I've been able to see them since I was little. I thought it was natural until dad said it wasn't." Nigato put his hand up, moving his fingers as if he was moving something. "I can move them too. Like a jigsaw, they fit together."

 

Kami watched. What are these "lights"?
