A King's Story: High in the Skies

"Beats me. I just know that I can see them." Nigaito started to fit some together. Tearing it apart again, he started to fit pulsing lights together.

 

Kami looked off into the distance. What happens if you solved this "jigsaw" puzzle? Have you ever tried that?

 

"No... Not really..." Nigaito fitted more pieces togther. Suddenly, they all glew in unison. "What the...?"
Alphonse stared at the glowing.

 

Xyam smiled. Lawliet reached out and grabbed ahold of Haruhi's finger.

 

Kami looked at Alphonse. W-What's happening, Nigaito?

Haruhi smiled at Lawliet. "Awhhhh!"

Kazune was silent.
"Y-You still there...?"
"Yeah.... But.... why'd you ask that...?"
Hikaru sighed. "I found out that Xyam was a Nobody just 10 minutes ago..."
"Really now."

A small portal opened after the glowing faded.
Nigaito sat up and stuck his head through the portal. Blinking, he suddenly pulled his head back and ripped the lights apart. He had gone pale.

Xyam smiled more.

 

Nigaito? Kami reached a hand out to his face.

 

"I wanna have a child now too!" Haruhi smiled more at Lawliet.

"What'd you mean by that?"
"I'm also a Nobody."
Hikaru's eyes widened. "....No joke....?"
"I'm a Nobody. No joke." Kazune sighed. "Listen. I know you must be scared of me and Xyam right now. But look at us. If I was like my father or fore-father then you would be dead, right?"
"Right..."
"We like you and Karou a lot. We won't hurt you. I'm still trying to pick up the pieces of a Nobody rep."

Nigaito blinked. "That portal lead to the Wyrm's lair."
"Huh?" Alphonse asked.
"Under the seas theres a small opening in the rocks. Through there, a sleeping water dragon lies."

 

Kami was utterly confused.

 

Nigaito shuddered. "That was scary..."

 

Xyam grinned. "You will eventually"

 

You going to be okay there? Kami rubbed Nigaito's cheek.

 

Haruhi blinked then blushed. "Ohh. But Hikaru and I still blush just by sleeping in the same bed!"

"I guess you're right.... But i'm still gonna be slightly nervous of you two now..."
Kazune laughed. "Its fine, I understand. I gotta go. Ciao." The call ended.
Hikaru put the pad back in his pocket and lay under the covers.

Nigaito nodded. "Just a little scared."
Alphonse watched them both.

 

"Yeah, but even so you know it's gonna happen!" she grinned.

 

Kami gave him a quick hug. Good.

 

"Unlike Kaiko who already is..." Haruhi muttered then blinked. "OH! She made me swear not to say that!"

Hikaru started to chew the side of his thumb.

Nigaito blushed slightly then hugged back. "Um, yeah."
Alphonse watched Nigaito. Something at the back of his mind was nagging him but he had no idea what it was.

 

"Don't worry I kinda guessed anyway"

 

Haruhi laughed. "She doesn't know how to tell Karou either."

 

"Well she has to tell him soon, No amount of stratigically planned outfits will cover a baby bump" she smiled.
