A King's Story: High in the Skies

Kami listened to him.

 

"What? WHO!?" Alphonse asked.
"Kazune, Abee, Opal and a few others." Kotarou said.
Alphonse nodded. "I'll protect you!"

 

Kami covered her mouth to gasp. Oh no...no, no, no.

 

"If they EVER try to hurt you, I'll kill them!" Alphonse said.
Kotarou nodded. "Thank you."

 

Kami could feel her eyes swell up with tears. She held them back to the best of her ability.

 

Kotarou pat Alphonse's head then left with Cid.
Alphonse turned and looked at Kami. "Are.... you okay?"

 

Kami looked to sadened eyes. Y-Yeah I'm fine. She tried her best to show him a smile.

 

Alphonse walked over to her and hugged her. "Tell me whats wrong."

 

Kami shook her head. I just feel a little emotional, is all.

 

Alphonse smiled and kissed the top of her head. "What over? The view outside?"

 

Kami looked up at him and smiled. Yeah. It was the view. I guess it really touched me.

 

Alphonse smiled. "Its really pretty, isn't it?"

 

Tremendously. Kami held Alphonse.

Alphonse smiled at her, resting his head against hers.

 

Kami took in a breath. This is nice.

 

Alphonse nodded. "Yeah."

 

Kami held him tighter.

Alphonse smiled and then picked up her, flying out the window again. "Look! Its spread all around now!"

 

What does? Kami held onto Alphonse closely.

 

"The Autumn trees." Alphonse grinned and flew down towards them. Diving inbetween the trees, he flew in and out of them.
