A King's Story: High in the Skies

Kami laughed too. I'd like to see you try, lover boy.

 

"Oh yeah?" Alphonse flew across a lake and dropped her into it.

 

Kami drowned slightly at first. Swimming to the surface, she made her way to shore. I forgot about lakes. And water in general. Damn it.

 

"CANNONBALL!" Alphonse shouted before dropping like a stone into the lake. Landing in the water, he caused big waves.

 

Kami looked at the waves coming toward her. Shiit. The waves washed over her.

 

Alphonse swam around underneath her. Coming up behind her, he grabbed onto her. "Gotcha!"

 

Kami was completely soaked. Her head loomed with her hair in her face. Thanks...

 

Alphonse laughed at her. "Don't you like water?"
She has a good reason to. YOU'RE swimming with her.

 

Kami's head lifted up quickly, hair still in her face. What was that?

 

Nigaito appeared, floating on his back. "Just when I think i got rid of you both."
Alphonse blinked "How the hell did you get here?!"

 

Eh? Kami flipped her hair back, accidently hitting Alphonse.

 

Alphonse shook his head, rubbing his nose.
"Father told me to wait here. Theres a tiny, weeny pipe that leads into her. Its so small, you'll need a microscope to see it. But father is trying to get out through there by sending tiny bubbles of himself through." Nigaito said.

 

Do you think he'd be able to do it? Kami rubbed Alphonse then fixed her hair a little.

 

Nigaito nodded and then swam underwater. After awhile, he came back up again. "I check on the pipe every so often. Currently, Father has concructed a smaller version of his own body."

 

Kami looked at Nigaito. How is that possible?

 

"Like its possible for me to do this?" Nigaito asked, his head floating away from his body.

 

Kami felt a bit stupid. Of course. She turned her attention to Alphonse. You seem rather quite.

 

"Because I have an odd feeling that someone is watching me...." Alphonse glanced around, staring at the shadows.
"Really?" Nigaito pulled his head back onto his body.

 

Kami looked around. Could it be Kazune and/or the others? She stayed lost in thought.

 

Suddenly a shadow jumped over from one side of the lake to the other.
Nigaito's eyes widened and he instantly when bright red. "I-I-I-I-I-I'm g-gonna g-g-go now...." He sank under the water.
Alphonse frowned and watched the shadow.
