A King's Story: High in the Skies

Well then... Kami pointed her katana in Alphonose's face. Shall we continue now?

Akito ran down the halls. Almost there.

 

Alphonose smirked and jumped back, shooting fire at her.

 

Kami dogded as much as she could. I am not getting anywhere like this, she thought to herself.

 

"You ok?" she said quietly.

 

Opal smiled, "you're in the army? What's that like? I think there too many rules for me, I like being free do to what I like and not being cooped up all the time. I go where the water flows." She laughed.

 

Mei laughed too. That sounds great but actually the army is not all that bad. Beats being cooped up with stuck up snobs all day. She laughed again.

 

Trembling, Tsuyoki crawled across the ground, trying to make some progress in one direction or another.

 

Mei looked to the side. She smiled. Hey! Tsuyoki!!!

 

Tilting his head upwards, Tsuyoki looked into the eyes of Mei.

"Oh, hey there." she spoke before slapping his hand to his mouth and curling up on the ground.

 

Opal span around to see who Mei was shouting to, she could see a boy on the ground, "Hey, he needs help. Do you know him?" She asked Mei as she stood up to go and help the boy.

OOC: Wait, are they a boy or girl?

 

Mei looked at Tsuyoki and then to Opal. Yes I do. Let us go help him. She stood and walked to Tsuyoki.

OOC: Tsuyoki's a boy....

 

Opal almost ran to her him and bent down to help him to his feet, "Hey there, listen I'm Opal, are you okay?" He looked so weak and fradgile like a slight breeze could knock him over.

 

Mei looked into Tsuyoki's eyes. What is wrong?

 

After getting to his feet, Tsuyoki started to mutter to himself. "Up...we're so far up." Breaking from his dillusionment for a moment, the boy glanced at the two girls. "Who's this?" he asked Mei.

Opal smiled slightly at him, she waved shyly, "hi..." She said quietly, this boy was kinda cute. She looked at him, wondering why he'd been in so much pain.

 

This is Opal. She is new to the Air Kingdom. Mei sighed. Are you having height troubles again?

 

Opal took a deep beath and gathered herself together, "Nice to meet you" She said looking into his eyes, "So, who do I have the pleasure of meeting?" She was suprised how formal she sounded, this was unusual for her.

 

Mei giggled.

 

Mei's giggerling broke Opal's concentration, and she giggled quietly, putting her hand to her mouth to hide it, but her cheeks still went a little red.

 

Mei enjoyed that Opal liked Tsuyoki, even though she had feelings for him herself. I will not say anything...We can both like him, she thought to herself.
