A King's Story: High in the Skies

As a sign of protection, or at least a sign of security, Tsuyoki wrapped his arm around Mei a little tighter.

"Even if you hate the war, that doesn't me you aren't our enemy. However, that doesn't mean you're not our friend either."

 

Opal looked at Mei appritiativly, "Thanks glad to know somebody agrees, I don't like being told who you can and who you can't be friends with. We should be free to chose our friends." She looked at him "Please I don't like how people just stereo type everyone"

 

Mei blushed and smiled at Tsuyoki. That is very true. She looked to Opal. I wish we could do something.

 

Tsuyoki sighed, looked towards Opal.

"I'm sorry about that, but we're air soliders. It is our job to only think in black and white. Now that I think about it, how did you get up here?" Then the phobia of heights returned as the boy fell on his knees, grasping his stomach.

Tsuyoki! Mei held him close to her.

 

"yeah" she suddenly thought of something and took a step back, "Wait, you're in the army, does that mean you have to fight me? I hope not. And good question I came here by the river but I did go up the river. Anyway are you okay?"

Meo looked to Opal, holding Tsuyoki closer. I am not sure what we are going to do. And wait, we are in the air.

 

Opal looked at her "I don't know. I'll do anything to help, if you need water I can do that easy."

 

Mei looked at her in silence. Then she took in a deep breath. Well it is not as if you are attacking. There is really no need to take action. She smiled.

 

Opal smiled, "Good job, you'd defeat me easily here. I'm sorta weak without water and you're in the army. I'd be dead. So yeah, thank you" Opal laughed.

 

Mei smiled and laughed along with her. It is no problem at all.

 

Opal looked at Mei, "Yeah, thank you again. By the way, without meaning to be rude, how old are you?... I'm sorry, I'm being cheeky, I shouldn't of asked" Opal looked down a bit embarassed.

I am 16. And it is ok. I do not mind. Mei smiled and held onto Tsuyoki, not noticing that she was somewhat squeezing him.

 

"A being of two or more things fused together at their core to make something new and better. Or it's a being that has had something added/taken away from it."

Kazune shook his head. "Otherwise the Kingdoms would be bombared with attacks and we'd know about this sooner."

Hate jumped up and swung down at her.

The machine stopped as the last crystal came out. Taking off the straps, Dr Cid sat Akito up on the bed. "Hello Akito."

 

Kami quickly stuck out her hand to him. Lightening Prison! A large ray of lightening appeared around Hate, imprisoning him. She backed away.

Akito stared blankly at nothing. Hello.

 

"Me too. Hey, maybe we're not all that different" Opal smiled happily.

 

Mei couldn't help but smile. I guess not.

 

"Oh.."
Cori woke up again then spoke, "Chimeras tend to have had different effects, like one chimera in a group of 2 chimera could have actually had a successful experiment, while the other 2 have experienced either physical change, or mental change, I fear I've taken both"

 

"That still leaves the question..." Tsuyoki spoke, his hands muffling his words. "What are we to do with you, Opal?"

 

Opal looked at him slightly confused and unsure, "What do you mean do with me? I had hoped to stay the night, but if I'm a problem I'll just return to my raft and leave. I'm not harming anyone, I'm not something to deal with. I just want to be free. Is that too much to ask?"
