A King's Story: High in the Skies

Hikaru floated as ash overhead. Overing the converstation, he laughed slightly. Thats a new one. At least Karou didn't hear it.

 

Opal laughed, "Um, I'm skint. Whole reason I'm here, fresh start looking to get money. Here it's all I've got" Opal passed him 10 pounds.

Looking up, Tsuyoki dropped his conversation. Confused by what he saw, he let his hands drop to the sides.

"Wha...what is that?"

 

Hikaru blinked. "Are you talking to me?" He asked, still maintaining his ash form.

 

Forgetting the money entirely, Tsuyoki jumped back, trembling in fear.

"That...that dust just talked!"

 

Hikaru blinked and floated down in front of Tsuyoki. "Please don't be frightened. I'm not dust, I'm ash. Well, for now." His face appeared and then the rest of him appeared, squatting in front of him. "I'm from the Fire Kingdom. I can change myself to ash at will."

 

Tsuyoki shuffled farther backwards.

"F...fire nation!?"

 

Hikaru raised an eyebrow. "Oh don't worry, I won't harm you! The old stories of our old King Erix are just tales now. We have a new, kinder King Kazune." He stood up. "We won't harm anyone at all and-"
"HIKARU!" Another pile of floating ash appeared next to Hikaru's head.
Hikaru looked at it. "Yes Karou?"
"Don't get side-tracked! The sooner we've done shopping around here, the sonner we can get back, had this stuff in to the chefs and then we can have free time!"
Hikaru crossed his arms. "You just wanna have fun with Kaiko again."

 

Quietly, Tsuyoki reached into his back pocket. This was impossible, two breaches in one day. Maybe it had finally begun.

 

Karou frowned and turned normal again. "You be quiet."
Hikaru grinned as Karou stormed off. "Ignore him, he's just a sour puss." He blinked, seeing his expression. "Whats wrong?"

 

Opal just looked at them in utter confusion "What is going on? I'm just lost."

 

Kami made it safely bacjk to the Twilight Kingdom. Here we are.

Mei ran to Tsuyoki's side. Are you okay?

 

Alphonose looked around.
Kaida ran out and hugged Alphonose.
Alphonose looked at his hands and then hugged back.

Hikaru looked at Mei.

 

Tsuyoki slowly pulled out his spike chains, ready for anything that would come his way.

"Members of fire nation, I cannot allow you to move freely about my country. Please surrender and tell us your true intentions."

 

Kami smiled at the happy moment.
Akito stared blankly. Then he spread out his hand.


Mei looked to Hikaru. What are you doing Tsuyoki?

 

Hikaru blinked at Tsuyoki. He put his hands up slightly in defense. "We're doing nothing wrong! Just shopping! Me and Karou are servants for the Fire King but he's gone on a mission to find these 'Chosen Ones' to stop all the crisis' happening!"

Alphonose looked at Akito and spread out his hand too.
Kaida looked at Kami. "We should let Kazune and Xyam get his emotions."

Hikaru looked at Mei. "Nothing. He saw my when I was in my ash form and paniced!"
Karou came back, holding a basket. "Come on Hikaru, we're outta here. Everyone seems to judge us JUST because we're two guys from the Fire Kingdom shopping." He frowned.

 

"Tsuyoki! They've done nothing wrong like me, don't do anything you'll regret later" She looked at them torn.

 

"Mei" Tsuyoki whispered. "Don't you find it strange the occurances today? We have three intruders, all from enemy nations. I can't fathom how they could even get up here. What I do know is that as soliders, we must protect our borders and our people."

 

Mei shook her head. Ther is no need to leave. I apologize. Hse turned to Tsuyoki. They have done nothing wrong. I mean, Opal right. She has not done anything to harm us.

 

"Mei!" Tsuyoki yelled. "What are you talking about? Incase you don't remember, we're still at war."
