A King's Story: High in the Skies

"Please understand, you don't need to protect your nation. It's not in danger. Listen to them, they came to stop the war. Don't you want that!" Opal pleaded to him

 

Mei sighed. That is true. But we can just allow them to leave. No need to start a fight.

 

"and neither have I to them, but that doesn't change the fact that we have to be careful. Since they aren't already dead, We'll get in alot of trouble if they just run about."

 

Hikaru sighed with relief. "Thank you for understanding."

 

"So, what's going to happen? Can they leave? If so, I thank you and hope we will stay friends but may I leave too? I cannot stay here trapped." Opal asked them quietly

 

Well then we will watch them carefully if that is what you want. She turned to Opal. Leave?



Kami nodded. That is fine. As long as I was able to bring Alphonose back, I am happy.

 

Tsuyoki grumbled. He didn't want to admit it, but he didn't want them to die either. Still precautions had to be put into place. Flicking his wrist, the soldier wrapped his spike chain around the three foreigners. One end held the fire nation, the other, Opal.

"I can understand you situation, but we can't let you roam freely. We'll be taking you back to the dorms. We'll hide you better there."

 

Kaida took out the emotions Kami had given her and gave them to Alphonose.
Alphonose held them in his hand, then they sank in. He blinked and shook his head, then looking at Kami smiling. "Thank you so much for rescuing me."

 

Mei followed after them. Wait!

Kami smiled back. It was my pleasure.

 

Karou frowned and turned to ash. Coming out of the chains, he hovered above it in his human form again. "Thanks but no. We're LEAVING." He grabbed Hikaru and pulled him away, heading towards the aerodrome.
Hikaru was strained against the chains. "Ah bother!" He changed to ash and followed Karou. "Wait up brother!"

Karou looked back at Mei. "What?"

Alphonose hugged her.

Bic: Opal screamed

 

Tsuyoki slammed his fist against the ground.

"Damn! If anyone saw that, we're dead!"

 

Mei ran to him. Please. I greatly apologize for Tsuyoki's actions. I do not know what has gotten into him.

Kami hugged back, feeling so warm.

 

Hikaru smiled. "Its fine." He said, smiling back.

Alphonose pulled away then frowned. "Please never give me the feeling of love back. I don't want that crystal."

Mei smiled. Is there anything I can do to make it up? She looked to Opal. I love making new friends, even if they are meant to be my enemy. She walked over and untied Opal.

Kami frowned instantly. Why not?

 

Opal smiled back "Thank you, me too. But please I must leave, I don't belong here. That if nothing else has proved that. I wish it could be otherwise, but I must leave."

 

Mei looked to the ground. I understand...
She looked back to Hikaru and Karou. If you must leave, then do so. I will not stop you.

"Thank you Mei, you will be a friend forever" She turned to the other two, "If you don't mind me asking where are you going? Back to the fire kingdom?"

 

Mei sighed. Now who will be my friend? She looked to Tsuyoki. I do like him but...
