A King's Story: High in the Skies

Kami freed herself from Wolf's licks, covered with slobber. Seeing what had been going on, she sneaked up behind Alphonose and grabbed him. I got him! I got him!

 

Opal smiled, "Well, Hushuabee, I'm gonna get you down from there." She climbed up the pole around him and sat on the pole that his arms were attached to. She produced a small knife from her belt and began carefully cutting the ropes that held his arms, "Don't worry, everything's gonna be just fine"

 

ooc: hey quick question.. who's Tsuyoki?

Tsuyoki is apparently the chosen one now for Air and I thought Kyma was it..

 

Alphonose yelped and suddenly disappeared.
Kazune blinked. "Hey, Alphonose?" He looked around. "Al! Hey, AL! Answer me!"
A hand appeared from the floor and grabbed Kazune's leg, making him scream. "Down here..." Alphonose's small voice came.
Kazune looked at the hand. "How'd you get there?!"
"I don't know." Alphonose said. His other hand appeared and started to pull himself up from the floor.

Hushuabee watched her. "Bad man bit me because me couldn't answer. Me was bitten hard, it pain much."

OOC: -facepalm- Sorry, I kinda forgot your request for that...

 

Opal cut through the rope freeing his right arm and moved to his free his left, "Bitten? Poor you. Well, I'm going to make all your pain go away, I'm not going to let anyone hurt you."

OOC: How old is he?

 

OOC: 16

Hushuabee slumped to one side as his arm was freed. "Your name is 'I'm'? No one talks to me, they only glare." He looked down. "Is it a 'son' to be stupid? Me was bitten for asking questions too."

 

OOC: Yay

Opal laughed as she freed his left arm "No, my name is Opal. Listen, that's all going to change. No it's not and you're not stupid. No one will hurt you for asking questions, I won't let them." She didn't know why she felt this strongly about the boy but she just wanted to protect him.

 

Hushuabee fell to the floor, his feet still attached to the pole. Turning, he looked up at Opal. "You different then others. You're the only one who's nice to me. But me 'roast' my memory." He sighed. "One day I woke up in this strange place, and me couldn't remember a thing. Me only remembered how to speak. Thats everything me that answer. Don't be angry..."

OOC: Haven't you noticed now he speaks? Son = Sin. Me = I. I'm = Opal. Bit/Bitten/Bite = Beat/Beaten/Beat him. You might wanna help him out with that.

 

OOC: That makes more sense

Opal jumped down and started cutting the ropes round his feet, "Why would I be angry? You've done nothing wrong. You didn't deserve any of that and they will never get to you again." Opal freed his feet, then went infront of him and hugged him.

 

OOC: Roast = Lost.
BIC:

Hushuabee sat up just as he was hugged. He blinked. "What're you doing?"
Suddenly, the sound of chocobos came.
Hushuabee looked down the path to see people on Chocobos riding along. "Its them."

 

Opal span around in the direction of the sound, she quickly pulled him down and pulled him into a bush, she gestured for him to be quiet and mouthed 'who?' She held his hand tightly.

 

Hushuabee raised an eyebrow.
The Chocobos stopped and a man stepped off one. Looking at the pole, he scowled. "CRAP! He's gone! That little spy has gone!"
Another one of the guards rasied an eyebrow. "Sir? No mind me asking but who's gone?"
A girl slapped him up the back of his head. "Shut up with your stupid questions. That Hushuabee is a spy. One of the thousands of clones that the Water Kingdom made! He wouldn't answer our questions so we put him here as punishment." She scowled.
Hushuabee shifted around slightly.

 

Opal listened carefully to people, wishing they would go quickly. She squeezed his hand supportivly. She was really scared. She listened to them, not quite understanding but knowing she didn't care what he was, they weren't getting him.

 

"That dammned clone... We captured ONE and he gets away...." The man got back on his Chocobo. "Master won't like this..." He rode away with everyone else. "I'll get that blasted criminal!" He shouted.
The others nodded and rode after him.

 

After she was sure they'd gone, she crawled out and helped him out. She hugged him as soon as he was out. "Are you okay? They're gone now, I won't let them get you. Who were they?"

 

"The people who bite me. They come and bite me, laughing then leave on those birds." Hushuabee looked down. "They call me 'spy' yet what is one? And how do you do it?"

 

Kami giggled.

 

Alphonose pulled himself out and looked at the floor. "Its made of Earth...." Thinking, he put his hand on the floor and raised it again, holding part of the floor.

 

Opal held his shoulders, "Never again. I will not let them get you. You are not a spy, don't worry about them. You are safe with me." Opal smiled at him.

 

Hushuabee smiled. "Thanks.... You were heading to the big wet?"
