A King's Story

Kaida frowned and hugged him. "Reese! Calm down, please! She was using as much of her magik powers without making herself pass out.

 

Reese tried to overcome the pain, but it was no use. he couldn't stop screaming from the pain.

 

Kaida sighed and kissed him to stop his screaming.

 

Reese whimpered a little. "ouch...."

 

Kaida smiled. "What happened to your leg?"

 

"Erix... cut it... off..." Reese winced.

 

"... ah. Is he dead?" Kaida looked at his leg. She couldn't put it back on without the other part of his leg.

 

Reese nodded. "y-yeah..."

 

Kaida sighed with relief. "Lets hope he doesn't come back again." She looked at Reese. "I can't heal it without the other part of your leg. Even then, it would take up alot of my energy. And thats one thing I really don't have much of right now...." Kaida's eyes slid over to Sapphira.

 

Reese managed to sit up. "i can live with only one leg..."

 

"If you could walk with one leg...." Kaida sighed and hugged Reese. "At least you came back alive."

 

"wheelchair?" he suggested as he hugged back.

 

Kaida giggled. "We'll have to install elevators in the castle then and ramps."

 

Reese chuckled. "i'm screwed then?"

 

Kaida thought. "A fake leg? Nah... I don't think you could get one..."

 

Reese sighed. "yup...... i'm screwed"

 

Kaida shook her head. "No. We'll find a way around this."

 

Reese chuckled. "i hope so..."

 

Kaida nodded. "I would try to do more to help but i'm tired. Having a baby drains you..."

 

Reese smiled. "i'd think so."
