A King's Story

Reese saw Kaida. "right there." he pointed to her.

 

Sapphira turned and saw Kaida. "Mummy!" She ran over to her and hugged her.
Kaida smiled and hugged back. "Hello there Sapphira."

 

Reese walked over to Kaida. "hey there beautiful." he kissed her.

 

Kaida kissed back and smiled. "I've found someone who can use magik. She was born with it, not given it." She pointed back at Hoshi.

 

Reese glanced at Hoshi. why did she look so familiar? "i see..."

 

Hoshi just stood there quiet. She had no reason to speak at the moment.

 

Sapphira let go of Kaida.
Kaida looked back at Reese. "I need to talk to you alone." She pulled him away from Hoshi and Sapphira. "Stay there Sapphira."

 

Reese followed. "what's up?"

 

"Remember that village you burned down in that bloody ramage of yours?" Kaida asked. "Well, shes a surviver from that. Only a child when you burned it down and now shes here. Her parents died in that and if she finds out it was you then she will want revenge."

 

Reese nodded. "uh huh.... then i would have no choice but to kill her."

 

Kaida frowned. "I guessed that. It seems you have a revenge magnet on you too. We can't let her know Reese. It would be better if we ignored that and lie to her if she asks."

 

Reese nodded. "okay then."

 

Kaida hugged him. "Good."

 

Reese hugged back.

 

Sapphira ran up to them both. "Mummy?"
Kaida looked down at Sapphira and crouched down to her height. "Yes? What is it?"
Sapphira sighed. "Can I go to Ren's school?"
Kaida smiled. "Why would you want to do that?"
"I dun want Ren to be picked on."

 

"i don't see a problem with it." Reese smiled.

 

Kaida nodded. "Okay then. How about you take her there Reese while I stay with Hoshi?"
Sapphira smiled. "Thank you!"

 

Reese held Sapphira's hand and started walking to the school. once they got there, Reese let go of her hand.

 

Sapphira looked around. She couldn't see Ren anywhere. "Wheres Ren?"

 

"probably inside" Reese said.
