A King's Story

Kazune nodded. "I just relised. You've never really seen Sapphira yet, have you?"

 

" oh i forgot , how old is she now?, 'bout 4?" she smiled

 

Kazune nodded. "We only saw her as a baby when Kaida was holding her."

 

" i wanna know what she looks like now"

 

Kazune smiled. "I'm sure Kaida and Reese won't mind a suprise visit." He opened a portal.

Kaida looked up at the portal, tensing up. She relaxed when Kazune poked his head through. "Hello Kazune."
Kazune waved at her and stepped through.

 

xyam followed him . " hello kaida"she smiled

 

Kaida looked at Xyam and smiled.
Sapphira looked at Kazune and Xyam. Shying away, she hid behind Kaida.
Kazune smiled at Sapphira. "Hello there."

 

xyam knelt onthe floor and held her hand out " hi there, i'm xyam.."

 

Sapphira blinked and looked at Xyam.
Kaida smiled and pushed Sapphira forward. "Shes a friend. She won't hurt you."
Sapphira looked at her mom to Xyam and held out her hand nervously.

 

xyam took her hand slowly and shook it " nice to meet you" she smiled

 

Sapphira nodded. "M-My names S-Sapphira...." She stumbled on her words.
Kazune smiled at Sapphira. "Last time we saw you, you were a baby."

" can i call you sapphy?, or would you prefer your full name?" she let go of her hand but stayed sat on the floor

 

Sapphira had started to relax around them. "Sapphira.... I don't like being called Sapphy..."
Kaida smiled. "See? By the way Sapphira, Kazune is The Fire Kingdom's King."
Sapphira flinched. Fire to her was too hot and scary.

 

" don't you like fire?" xyam asked....

 

Sapphira shook her head. "I-Its too hot and scary...."
Kazune sighed. Crouching down to Sapphira's height, he smiled. "We might be from Fire but we won't hurt you. It would be like if I had a child and then them thinking that Ice and cold and scary."

 

xyam nodded " plus they'd probably freeze to death.."

 

Kazune nodded. "Yeah..... Wait. What?!"
Sapphira giggled.

 

xyam looked confused " what?...."

 

Kazune stood up. "They wouldn't freeze. Look at us! We're used to the warmth of The Fire Kingdom yet we're not freeszing now."
Kaida rolled her eyes. "You still have that stone i'm guessing and Xyam was 'born' here. She has natural immunity. It'll pass down when she has children."

 

she stuck her tongue out at him "see?, who says i'm gonna have kids anyway?"
