A King's Story

BIC: Kazune killed the last of the guards in the area. "All safe for now. Is she okay?"

 

Reese layed her down and checked her heartbeat and pulse. he nodded

 

Kaida opened her eyes slowly. "Magik....." She lifted her hand up. "Cure." Flowers appeared above her and she felt revived. Kaida sat up. "Thank god it was only temporary....."

 

Reese kissed her. "i'm glad you're okay"

 

Kazune diverted his eyes during the kiss.
Kaida smiled weakly at Reese. "That fog had drained me and sent me into unconciousness." Then Kaida's eyes widened and she pulled Reese down to the floor. "FIRA!!!!" She sent a ball of fire at a zombie. It dropped to the floor.

 

Reese stood up. "i can take care of m-" Reese went wide eyed.

 

Kaida looked at Reese. "Reese?! Are you okay?!"

 

blood trickled from the corner of Reese's mouth.

 

Kaida layed Reese down on the floor. "Reese!? Answer me!"
Kazune knelt by Reese. "Lord Reese!"

 

Reese's eyes closed.

 

Kaida's eyes widened and she started to shake him. "Reese! Reese! Wake up! Wake up now!!!"

 

Reese stopped breathing.

 

Kaida stopped shaking him and her eyes sprung tears. "No..... No. This can't be happening......" She burst out into tears and lent her head against Reese's chest.
Kazune put his hand on her shoulder.

 

Rei walked up to them. "CPR."

 

Kaida looked up at Rei and nodded. She moved back from Reese's body to let Rei get to him.

 

Rei moved to Reese and sighed. "can't believe i'm doing this...." he started giving Reese mouth to mouth.

 

Kaida shut her eyes as Rei did CPR. She was listening for Reese's steady breath to start.

 

Rei stopped and pressed on Reese's chest. he listened to Reese's heart, shook his head, and began the process again.

 

Kaida reached out and took Reese's limp hand. Please wake up......
Kazune sat next to Kaida and put his hand on her shoulder. He had started to like Kaida as a friend now.
