A King's Story

Kaida nodded. "Good. Lets go." She got out of bed and headed towards the door. "Meet me down in the gardens." Kaida left.

 

Reese went down to the gardens.

 

Kaida was standing on the other side of the lake. "Magik is very handy. It can help you in certain ways." She stepped onto the lake and stayed afloat.

 

Reese stepped on the water and sank.

 

Kaida suppressed a laugh and walked over to him. "I used Waterga to keep myself afloat. You can't just expect magik to come automaticly." She held out a hand to him.

 

Reese took her hand. "i knew that... just testing you." he joked.

 

Kaida pulled him out of the water. "Testing me how?"

 

Reese was thinking. "i was testing to see if you knew that."

 

Kaida smiled. "Or testing me to see if I won't noitce that you're trying to cover up your first fail at magik."

 

"you're too smart...." Reese pouted.

 

Kaida just laughed. "Thats one thing I'd never think i'd see! You pouting!" She hugged him still giggling.

 

Reese was still pouting. "not gonna work..."

 

Kaida sighed. "Okay, Okay, I'm sorry...... Lets start with something a bit more simple." She put her hands out in front of her with her palms facing eachother. "Try and make a ball of ice." Kaida started to move her hands together. "Think about a ball of ice." Her hands touched together. "Ice." Bringing her hands apart, a ball of ice hovered between her hands. "Now you try."

 

"think... about... a ball.... of ice..." he imitated Kaida's movements.

 

Kaida smiled and nodded. "When your hands are together, say 'Ice' and then bring them apart."

 

Reese did as Kaida instructed. he moved his hands together. "ice..." he moved them apart and a ball of ice appeared.

 

"You did it!" Kaida smiled at Reese. "Try moving it around now. You concentrate on the ice and think where you want it to go." She looked at her ball of ice and it sped around the lake.

 

Reese smiled evily at Rei, sleeping under a tree.

BIC: Kaida kept on looking at her ice ball. She took a quick glance at Reese and smiled knowing what he was gonna do. "Hes gonna kill you when he wakes up rudely."

 

Reese laughed. "wakey wakey!" he hurled the ice ball at Rei.
