A King's Story

Kazune nodded. "Well, depending on WHEN Kaida get preganant depends on the count down to your death. 9 months." He sighed. "Is there ANYTHING I can do to help? I'll spend every day tracking down Erix to kill him if I have to."

 

"the man is nearly invincible....." Reese sighed. "i didn't tell you the other part of the deal..."

 

Kazune lifted his eyebrows. "Other part?"
Kaida listened in, still hugging Reese.

 

"if Kaida doesn't give birth within a year.... Erix will return and kill us all. Reese said.

 

Kazune frowned. "Sh!t."
"What happens if its a miscarraige?" Kaida's muffled voice came out.

 

"still.... we have a year..." Reese said. "if you don't have a living baby...."

 

"We would have to try again...." Kaida frowned and pulled away from Reese.
Kazune frowned. "One man can't be invincible. I'll kill him next time I sence him."

 

"you can try...." Reese said. he kissed Kaida. "don't worry. he lays a finger on you and he's dead."

 

Kaida smiled and turned to Kazune. "You would really track down Erix for as long as you can?"
Kazune nodded. "Yes. I would use everyday of the year to find him."

 

Reese nodded. "that's why you're my most trusted guardian."

 

Kazune stood up. "I also came her to give Kaida a message. The nurses want you. Please don't ask me why." He left.
Kaida looked at Reese. "The nurses?"

 

"go Kaida. i'll be here when you get back."

 

Kaida nodded and kissed Reese. She headed out the door to where the infirmanry was. Why do the nurses need me?

 

Reese layed down in the bed and sighed.

BIC: Kaida entered the infirmanry and looked around. "You needed me?" The head nurse nodded. "Come through here please." The head nurse led her through to a small empty room. "I wanted you to see this." She pointed at a machine. "Whats it do?" Kaida asked. The head nurse put her hand on a scanner at the top and a 3D shape of her body appeared on screen. "It tells you different things about your body. Like if you have an illness, any broken bones, stuff like that. I wanted to show you this so you could use it."

 

OOC- that show with the freaky kids?
BIC- Reese stared at the ceiling.

 

OOC: No. The one with Captain Jack Harcness and Gwen Cooper with the Aliens and stuff. Like Doctor Who. - ANAGRAMS!!!

The head nurse left the room and Kaida put her hand on the screen. Her body appeared on the screen. Everything was fine with her. Nothing was wrong. She smiled.

 

Reese was silent as he stared at the ceiling.

 

Kazune headed down the stairs to the front gate. Erix.... Where ever you are..... I'm gonna find and kill you! He stopped before exiting the Castle and looked at where Reese and Kaida's room was. Don't worry Reese. I'll make sure you get to see your son or daughter grow up.

 

Reese sat up in the bed and sighed sadly.
