A King's Story

Kaida's eyes widened and she moved in front of Reese. "So your Erix." She scanned him up and down. "You do look like Rei. But thats just because you're his nobody." Kaida's heart started to beat faster. "If you want to kill someone..... then make it me. I have nothing much to live for so make it me." She reached behind and squeezed Reese's hand.

 

Erix laughed. "you instead? i'll pass.... an apology'll do it... get on your knees and apologise..."

 

Kaida didn't move from in front of Reese.
Kazune stopped. He senced Kaida's magik waves coming out to him. Everything alright Kaida? He asked.
Kaida didn't make any reaction. Erix is in the palace and he's right in front of me.

 

Erix laughed. "fine." in an instant he was behind Reese and stabbed him in the back.

 

Kaida's eyes widened and moved faster then Erix could. When he drove in the blade to Reese, it hit her and went through her chest.

 

Erix laughed crazily. "well well... a two for one!" he pulled the blade out. Reese fell, uncouncious... and slowly dying.

 

Kaida fell next to Reese on the floor.
Kazune senced something was wrong and teleported to Kaida, only to find Erix. He smirked. "So. The b@stard came out of hiding."

 

Erix smirked. "if i were you... i'd worry more about my friends." he warped away.

 

Kazune blinked and saw Kaida and Reese on the floor bleeding. "Lord Reese! Miss Kaida!"
The head nurse came back into the room and saw them all. "What happened? Was this your doing?!"
Kazune shook his head. "No time to explain, just help me!" He started to lift Kaida up.

*OOC: A few minutes later*

BIC: Kazune and the nurses had got Reese and Kaida in bed and bandaged up. The nurses knew about Erix now.

 

Reese had his eyes closed, barely awake.

 

Kazune saw Reese. "Lord Reese? Are you okay?" He waved a hand before his eyes.

 

Reese nodded a little. he couldn't speak because the blade punctured a lung.

 

Kazune smiled a bit. "Erix ran before I could do anything. From now on, I'm gonna step up the guards around you and Kaida." He looked at Kaida. "Quite frankly, I'm not too bothered about this Kingdom but it's Kaida's home and your new one."
One of the nurses came next to Reese. "Lord Reese? We've checked yours and Kaida's wounds. Nothing fatal. The sword punctured your lungs but thats healed. Kaida was hit just under her heart. We've fixed her wounds but shes not gonna wake up for awhile."

 

Reese's heart rate went up and the machine started beeping really fast. Reese looked around frantically for Kaida.

 

The nurse looked at the machine and tried to calm Reese down.
Kazune saw he was looking for Kaida and moved her bed right next to his. "Relax Reese, Kaida's here."
Kaida was lying on her back not moving except her chest going up and down to her breathing.

OOC: OMG! These two look like Kazune and Kaida!!!

BIC: Reese calmed down. the machine started beeping normally. Reese slowly reached his hand out and grabbed Kaida's hand gently. he closed his eyes. he knew he needed rest.

 

Kazune nodded at Reese. "Kaida moved out in front of the blade so she would be hit for you Reese."

 

Reese nodded and squeezed Kaida's hand lightly before drifting off to sleep.

 

Kazune smiled and left the room. Instantly, he turned to the guard outside. "Wheres the Genral?" The guard answered immdiatly. "That would be me." Kazune sighed. "Good. As you might know, Lord Reese and Miss Kaida was attacked eairlier. I'm not going to be here all the time to I want the sercurity stepped up around them. Got that?" The General nodded and saluted. He then ran off to the soildier's barracks. "Now to find Rei and Ayako." Kazune headed off to the gardens and found them there. "Rei! Ayako!"
