A King's Story

Rei and Ayako were sleeping under a tree, holding each other.

 

Kazune saw them and facepalmed. "Is EVERYONE asleep today?" He pointed at the tree above them. "Earth!" The fruit growing on the tree fell down onto Rei and Ayako's head.

 

Rei and Ayako awoke. Ayako grabbed Kazune by the throat. "i was in the middle of a wonderful dream..." she growled.

 

Kazune frowned. "So was I, until I found Miss Kaida and Lord Reese bleeding to death on the floor!" He grabbed her wrist and pulled her hand away from his neck.

 

Ayako frowned and turned away, pouting.

 

"Its Erix, Rei. Your nobody. He came and saw to that personally. Fortunatly Erix's aim was off and he didn't kill them but Kaida was the first to be hit and was hit under her heart. Both of them are in medical asleep so don't worry too much." Kazune crossed his arms.

 

Rei frowned when Kazune said 'Erix'

 

Kazune nodded. "I'm guessing you already know that Erix want Reese dead for killing your parents. He came here to kill everyone here but Reese made a deal - When Kaida gives birth to his first born then the next day, Reese will be killed. And also theres your deal saying that you will marry Kaida if Reese dies."

 

Rei nodded.
Ayako frowned more and mumbled.

 

Kazune continued. "Which I'm guessing both of you don't really want to do. Kaida wants to stay with Reese and you want to marry Ayako. What I'm going to do is look around to find Erix again and kill him. Then everyone would be happy. Theres just three things that make it harder. 1) Erix moves around fast and never stays in the same place for too long. 2) I only have a year before Erix comes back to kill everyone. And 3) If Kaida gets pregnant then gives me 9 months - 3 months shorter."

 

Rei nodded. "i'll help."
Ayako turned around. "me too."

 

Kazune smiled. "Come along if you want."
Kaida stirred and woke up. She turned her head and saw Reese asleep next to her. Kaida smiled.

 

Reese woke up. he smiled when he saw Kaida awake.

 

Kaida shifted over to Reese, being careful not to hurt herself.

 

Reese gently stroked Kaida's hand.

 

Kaida smiled. She tried to speak but it hurt too much. She winced in pain.

 

Reese tried to sit up but it hurt too much.

 

Kaida looked at Reese and sent messages to him. *Reese? Can you hear me?

 

Reese nodded. yeah. i can.

 

Kaida smiled. I told you I would be the one to die and I'm keeping that promise up.
