A Knights Tale

Why not take the river again? Fortune travels about half the distance back to her mill but can't resist the sparkling water. She slips off her shoes and ties her dress into a knot on the side of her to get it out of the way. She sits about a foot into the stream on a rock trailing her feet back and forth in the water. I don't even know why I work; I could just do this all day.

 

Hoshi finally opened her eyes again and crumbled the leaf and blew it off her hand and let it fly into the breeze. then she rose p and once again moved back to the forest and turned invisible and climbed up a tree and sat there as she had a feeling something bad was about to happen there.

 

"well...We better get...uh...ready." said Felix as he looked away.

 

Eva nodded again, then silently backed up, and went into another room, searching. "This one will be yours, and this one will be mine." she called, throwing out two packs, one a forest green, the other brown. She didn't dare face him.

 

"Okay." said Felix catching a pack.

 

She rummaged around, digging for other supplies and such. "You can ride a horse, right?" she called out, coming into the kitchen and packing food into another pack, then some clothes into hers.

 

"yeah, I can." said Felix, he looked at his Brown horse who was grazeing in the clearing.

 

Eva grinned, turning her face from him. "Pack please." she murmured, holding out her hand.

 

Seto paced the tent, thinking to himself. If I can recruit more to my cause, maybe even more from thr royal family I can force the King to surrender without battle. But, I still promised everyone I would duel him to the death. I can't go back on a promise, especially from my loved ones.

 

"are you okay Seto?" Phenox asked with worry in his eyes

 

Seto looked over at his friend. He nodded. "Just thinking. I've been real busy lately. Do we have any new recruits? Or any news at all?"

 

"okay." said Felix handing her his pack. He watched her.

 

"i'm afraid not." Phenox sighed "just try and take it easy okay?" Phenox looked down

 

Seto chuckled. "I should take your advice. What would you do in my situation?"

 

Phenox chucked "hard to say.... i would gather an army and strike when no one expects it i guess." Phenox smiled

 

"Hmm, perhaps we could have an army pull out most of their forces away from the castle and then send a small stike force to inflitrate the castle. That may be our best bet."

 

Phenox nodded. "yes...... that may work." he stroked his chin, surprised he thought of it

 

She put the medical things into his, still not looking at him. "If you have any clothes, you can put them in here." she said, handing it back to him gently.

 

Seto pondered on the idea. "But we need to find a way for only me and the King to have our lives at risk. Anyone elses would be a grave death."

 

"Okay." said Felix grabing the bag, he continued to look at her util he thought he heard somthing outside.
