A Life to Lead ^_^

Larxene dropped the woman to the floor. "what happened to torture before death..? You make things all fast. There is only one thing I dislike fast, and that is the killing of the enemy." She shook her head and walked over to the madman with a smile.
"Okay...so you got yourself some trousers...you can have any pair you want in this place, in fact. You want a shirt.. unless topless if more your thing?" She looked at Gex with a slight bite of her lower lip. "Depends on your build. I don't know. I'm just going all black, and throwing the stuff she chose me."
Throwing the clothes to one side, she walked over to a shelf of black clothing, and began to rummage through the countless items.

 

"What I do wrong? She wasn't an enemy, just a witness."

Gex turned his back to Larxene. Snapping his fingers, the skeleton returned ti it's standard position on his shoulder.

"Hop inside and change. I'll change out here and play look out. Better hurry."

 

Cloud looked at her and then he looked away. He hated it when she was upset. "I didn't say I was going to deal with him. I think you have other matters on your mind for I didn't say anything about fighting him unless I had to. Now what kind of questions do you have?" He arched his eyebrow up and hoped it wouldn't be to long. He hated being lectured, but she wasn't going to let him leave unless her questions were answered.

Demyx felt his arm being tugged and he walked with her taking the hint to leave them alone. He hoped it wouldn't take to long though. He grinned at Xion's words of choice. "You'll protect me against Larxene? Do you even know what she is capable? More likely I will protect you." He walked with her a few feet away as he starred at the sky and heard some cries in the distance. "I wonder what is going on?" He walked with Xion to the street where Cloud could still see them in his sights. He asked an another woman what was going on? "So some people with the same uniform as me robbed a clothing store? What did they look like?" He listened to her. "Okay I see what you mean. Thanks." The woman then ran away as he watched her leave. He turned his attention to Xion. "It looks like Larxene and some other guy from the organization robbed a clothing store. How lame if you ask me."

 

"I'm dressed, idiot." Larxene smirked, doing a twirl in her new black linen trousers, and black fitted shirt. "I'm fast when I want to be, you know." Slipping her feet into some flip-flops, she smiled and opened a portal to her room in the castle. She threw in her coat and boots, and began to make little adjustments to the shirt she was wearing.
"I'll go and check around whilst you change." She stated, before exiting the small kiosk and into the path of the long street.
I can sense than damn Nocturne worlds away. She thought, looking up and catching the sight of Demyx walking with a short girl.

With her hands on her hips, she leered at Demyx with her piercingly blue eyes. She had spotted him holding hands with the little rat, which made her glare even more deadly.
"Didn't know you were into...younger girls, Demyx." she sneered, still unblinkingly staring at him. "I'm sure Xemnas would be very pleased to know about that."

 

After she left, Gex removed his robe and replaced it with some torn tan shorts and a blood red tee. Pillaging the other pants, he took two of the belt and tied them over his chest in an 'X' shape. After that he found a blue bandana to cover his tatoo.

"I wonder what she's up to." Gex said aloud as the strapped on a pair of combat boots.

"Maybe I should follow her."

the mad man turned toward his skull and gazed into its eyeless sockets.

"What do you think?"

The skull gave no response. Getting up, Gex ran in the direction Larxene went.

"You're no help at all you know that right?" he yelled back at the skull before dissappearing around a corner.

 

Larxene turned and looked at Gex approaching her. "Are you ready?" she asked almost emotionlessly. "I want to get away from this damn kiosk. I want to get outta this place, period.
With one swift turn towards the inards of the town, Larxene walked away, hoping to find Gex beside her soon.

 

Gex ran up behind Larxene while completely ignoring demyx and xion.. After catching up with her he slowed down to keep pace

"What just happened?" He said, sounding as emotionless as possible.

"Did I just miss something? You usually aren't this brisk. something eating at you?

Gex swung his arm around her shoulder in a playful manner

 

Larxene hugged into Gex's embrace. She felt a small spark snap from her fingertips, but htat was the residue of her previous act of annoyance.
"I've annoyed him. Lots. Now he thinks he is all-that, walking aaround with that...kid." she shook her head, mork sparks beginning to fly from her - now fisted - hands. "He just...Well...He seemed to be rather smug about it, too. What he did there was of pure ignorance, and being ignorant is my job. I've had enough of him now. I'm sick of thinking of him, being reminded of him with everything. He just seems to think that blackamiling me with that joke-of-a-member called cloud or something, will get me to back off from him.
I'm tired of holding myself back off him because of one moment we shared near the bakery in a street when we found cloud.
He can forget it. I'm not holding back on his ass anymore."

With one arm slid around Gex's waist, she looked up with a faint smile.
"I think I got that out of my system."

 

"Member?"
Gex lifted larxene's eyes to his. He gazed into the icey blue pools of raw power.

"Larxene, those aren't members, they're muscle. They don't have that many rights and are expendable. Besides, demyx isn't someone to really care about. Do you understanf me?"

He played with a lock of her hair.

 

If she had a heart... It probably would have had an attack or something right about now.

"All I know... Is that he wants to try and control my actions through cloud.." Larxene mumbled, her hand gently resting on his twirling fingers in her hair.
"He could be someone to give a damn about... if he acted more himself than the obnoxious child he is now.." She closed her eyes and nodded at the mad-man's question, then lightly nuzzled his hand.
How obscure. He is possibly the only member I feel that gives me protection. And he is only a bag of bones, who upon first meet, I kicked him repeatedly in the head.

 

"Could, but don't, so why bother?"

The madman stroked her cheek with his thumb.

She was so fragile, so delicate. Such things almost never become fighters. Then again, that was something that made her special. It made them special.

"Now lets take those thoughts and throw them away."


Gex curled his hand into a fist right around the girls temple. In the manner of a joker playing a magician, he whiped his fist outward and opened his fingers, releasing the pretend thought.

 

Aerith's eyes softened slightly. "I'm sorry. How could you make this deal with Xemnas and not me expect to go along?" she asked. "I've never been left behind against my choice before. What made you think I should start now?" she purposely left out the days when Zack had been alive. She couldn't have gone with him, their relationship had been a secret. "Cloud, you can't just...." she sighed. "I do trust your judgement, but I'm coming with."

Xion watched Demyx, her eyes bright. "She underestimates both of us. We can take her." she replied, watching Larxene walk away. "Ignore her. She's got other matters to draw her attention."

 

Leon came away from the behind the building as he noticed Sora looking depressed. He couldn't stand to see him looking that way. He also noticed his companions Goofy and Donald there as well. Guilt was struck on his brain, but no matter the brunnete was on the side of the good. However how would he be able to explain to Sora about the deal that Cloud had made and himself with the contract to kill heartless. Was this betraying the good? He didn't think so as long as he remebered of what had happened to this world. "I'm sorry you guys, but we had to tighten security as of now. Organization 13 has caused their mess with killing hundreds of people and leaving disaster in this homeworld," He admitted sadly. He approached the door. "Alright you two let us in," Leon folded his arms pretending to sound angry.


"I don't know? You didn't mention a password," A grumpier voice answered as if smirking to himself. He knew there wasn't one.

"Cid, come on already," Leon sighed. "Don't do this," Leon began digging through his pocket looking for his key.

"You are such a grump Cid, it is only Leon and Sora and his friends," a cheerful voice answered as Yuffie unlocked the door. Upon seeing Sora she jumped in his arms. "It is so good to see you again",

Leon forced back a chuckle as he made sure the door was propped open. "So Sora, what can we do you for?"


Axel got sick of being at the clock tower as for a brief moment he had felt some kind of presence, near Sunset Hill, but then the shadow of an image moved away. It couldn't have been Roxas now could it? He sighed as he summoned a portal and went through it taking him through town as he gazed at the destruction he had caused. He didn't think his anger could of done some real damage, but either way there was nothing he could do about it now. He was surprised that no one ran away when they saw him. He kept walking hoping to run into Roxas. He knew he was around here somewhere. He wondered why Xenmas would go along so easily with this plan of his, either way he didn't trust nor like the idea of humans staying in their castle.

Cloud sighed and hoped that she would understand. "It's not you. It's just when times are desperate, I'm willing to do what it takes to surive. There was no work available in the other worlds, but Demyx convinced Xemnas out of some miracle to accept Leon and I to work for him. I don't see anything wrong with that. Especially when Sora does the same thing as such which is killing heartless, but unlike him Leon and I are both getting paid. Since you weren't part of the deal, I'll have to ask Demyx about this. I don't want you to get hurt." He took her hands into his own and starred into her eyes. "Let me ask him and see what he says." Cloud cleared his throat and called for his new friend. "Demyx can I talk to you?"

Demyx rolled his eyes when Larxene walked away. He would talk to her soon enough and find out how she felt towards him and why she did what she did to him. He would not ever forget that horrible act, that still hurt him while thinking about it. He swung Xion's hand in his own and smiled at the younger girl. He didn't see her as a love interest at what ignorant Larxene was implying, but only saw Xion as like a younger sister. The one he wished he had when he was human. He was an only child and that rough on him especially with parents who were both highly religious where as he was forced to accept Christianity, but refused to go to church for he didn't feel he needed to. Now as a nobody, he didn't have to worry about having faith, since religion didn't apply to someone without a heart, yet his memories kept reminding him of it. Perhaps that was why he was so kind and had to be tough and cruel when he felt he needed to be. Shaking his head since his mind was wandering off, he heard Cloud's voice. "All right I'm coming," he walked with Xion and stood where Aerith and Cloud were. "What's up?" He smiled and greeted them with a wave.

Cloud stated in a firm tone what he wanted to ask wondering what Demyx's answer would be. "Aerith would like to come with us when we return. Since Xion is with you and since she is very fond of Aerith and looks up to her like a mother or an older sister, I don't see how this is a bad idea. What is your take on it?"

Demyx widned his eyes and thought over Cloud's question before responding. "Um? Well since the contract entitles me to look over you especially and Leon to make sure you're safe and Aerith and Xion will be with us, I don't see why not? If she wants to go then she has my permission. Just try to avoid the rest of the organization is all that I ask and stick with me at all times. If the boss finds out and questions this then I will worry about that when that times comes. As long as you and I get hearts Cloud, that's all that the boss is interested in." He scratched the back of his head and blew some air in a sigh of relief.

 

Aerith sighed with relief, her green eyes happy. "Thank you." she murmured, then smiled. "Xion was going to go anyway. We need to....retrieve an item of hers." She smiled at the younger girl.

Xion smiled, giggling as Demyx swung her hand up high. She was nervous about getting her stuff back, but Aerith would help her. Everything would be alright if Aerith was there.

 

"Huh? An item? What could that be?" Demyx placed his hand in the air and felt the wind current kicking in. "It's windy here," he watched the flowers' pedals almost sway in the huge gust. "Before we go will you guys come with me? I need to show you my idea."

Cloud arched his neck to get any kinks out of it. "Sure. Why not?" He followed. He looked back at Aerith to make sure she was following and then saw how happy Xion was. He smiled at her, thinking back to his own memories of the countless innocent children he saved.

Demyx lead them to a small shop and walked inside where an woman sat at a desk. She was in charge of entertainment and was looking to add some publicity and tourisism to Hollow Bastion and Twilight Town. He smiled at her and shook her hand, thinking back of her memories of when he was a model and musician that everyone adored. "I would like to audition for the photo shoot and I'm interested in the slot you have for a skilled musician."

Cloud had a feeling he knew what Demyx was doing and he went along with the idea. So this was how the muisican would pay back him and Leon the rest of the payment. If that meant more munny to pay off his expences then he support Demyx's idea. He walked inside and the woman smiled at him as well. "I'm with him and so is Aerith and her," he pointed to Xion. "We're here to help. If there is any heartless that infere I'm willing to use my talants to get rid of them for you."

Demyx smiled and nodded glad that Cloud was going along with his plan. "I have years of experince and I'll even play you a sample right now." Walking out of the building, he made his sitar appear in his hand and then came back. "Sorry I had to get my instrument." He did not want her to think of him as a freak which was why he did that. He starrted playing a nice melody which then speed up to rock and then heavy metal. "I can play any instrument, but I perfer my sitar." He ended his musical piece as the woman clapped her hands. "I can even sing, but I will do that later if you would like." He was delighted when she offered him the job and gave him a schedule of the events that would take place. "The modeling is this afternoon at 2pm? All right I'll be there. Thank you very much. Pleasure doing business with you." He handed Xion a copy of his schedule. "How would you like to help me? You have many talants of your own you know. It sounds like a lot of fun and is a perfect way to earn munny. Think of how Aerith would feel?" He grinned.

 

Larxene smiled somewhat, but still felt troubled as to what on earth that damn water mage was thinking.
Was it an act of jealousy? An act to get me irritated? I'm sure it was... why wouldn't it be? I mean, I'm me. why wouldn't people be jealous?
On the re-emerging of her azure pools, she blinked repeatedly at the mad-man. Why was he so good with stuff like that? One minute, larxene could be lightyears away, thinking and trying to work out some of the obscurities that troubled her ever-working mind, and the next, she would feel her eyes open, and her body back in whatever world she was in, and opposite Gex.
A sudden tune came to mind... A certain tune she only recognised due to it being her favorite when in twilight town.
Slowly and quietly, Larxene began to murmur the words to herself, her smile growing wider.
"If I gave a thought to fascination I would know it wasn't right to care... Logic doesn't seem to mind me being fascinated by a love affair... Still my body would benefit a little tender care from time to time... but never mind, because baby I'm a fool who thinks it's cool to fall in love..."
Soon she found herself swaying, then twirling her fingers in his, then spinning.
Larxene was actually singing infront of another member.
"So...kiss me now...Because baby I'm a fool...who loves to fall in love..."

(OOC: may not be posting as frequently. I have a few problems at hand.)

 

Feeling her fingers lock with his, Gex let the sadist spin outward. She was singing? There was always more and more to her. He, on the otherhand, was disgustingly simple. Everything was so simple before he met her. Back then however, things didn't come so easily.

"What is that?" the lunatic said smiling

"That tune, I've never heard it before."

 

"I don't know where that came from..." Larxene blushed slightly, still letting her foot tap to the silent beat she had going. "It's just... I don't know. Something I heard a long time ago... and it hasn't left me since."
With another twirl, she smiled again, going through the words more slowly so Gex could catch on with her lyrics.
"If I gave a thought to fascination I would know it wasn't right to care...

Nodding her head to the slow bea tof the words, Larxene smiled wider. "You remind me of that song.." She smiled again, her mood becoming the opposite of what it was a few moments ago.
