A Life to Lead ^_^

the bag of bones' back arched as the surge coursed through him. Any stronger and he's have faded to nothingness. It was amazing. Everything he needed, everyting he wanted. Now was perfect in every way.

 

His curiousity got the better of him and he couldn't get her out of his mind. Taking Xion's hand, he walked with her with a grin on his face and swung her hand back and forth. How would Larxene feel if she saw another girl with him? Not that he had any love interest in Xion, but Larxene didn't know that. He would stick it to her good. He would get even with what she did to him just in a different way. Demyx spotted her and he acknowledged her by saying her name. "Larxene, where did you get those clothes?" He had an idea she stole them. "I don't think the boss would be to happy with you if you were out of uniform. The cloak is to be worn for a reason you know." He spotted Gex had a different outfit too and seemed happy at the moment. Raising his eyebrow, Demyx wondered why? "Does the boss know you and Larxene are here and where is he?" He asked him.

Cloud walked with them making sure Aerith was just behind him. They would stay together. His long stride caught up with Demyx and Xion as he stopped in his tracks when he sensed Larxene as well. "Oh no... " he thought thinking there was going to be trouble.

 

Larxene turned at his voice.
Hah. He came running. as predi- Her thoughts froze on the sight before her. Again, he was holding hands with a child... A mere, worthless child. What was this guy? A paedophile?
The thought made the Nymph shudder.
"I got these clothes from a meat stall." She answered his pathetic question sarcastically. "I'ts obvious I got them from a clothes store you idiot." She took a step forward and smiled, placing her hands on her hips in the process.
"And as a matter of fact, he does know we are here, water boy. We are retreiving hearts here. How in the world can we do that in our uniforms? Won't that be a mjor give-away to someone with a powerful heart, and a mind to go with it?" Her cockyness faded, and gradually turned into a piercing leer at the nocturne opposite her. "Although, you wouldn't know about that, Demyx, as it takes one to have a brain, to understand how one works, doesn't it?"

Her eyes shifted to cloud stood behind Demyx. "And don't you even bother yourself, meat head. I'm seriously not in the mood for your games."
Who was that small girl beside Demyx?
She seemed like...like a child.
"So are you here to speak? Or pick little flaws in us and not register your own?"

 

Demyx scoffed for she was acting as the typical *****y woman he had known. So much for her nice girl routine in the beginnng. He felt as if she had been playing with him and the whole ordeal of her hitting him where it hurts really ticked him off. Her snotty attuide was one that to make him want to punch her in the face if he was that kind of nobody and had the guts. Instead he insulted her back like the witch she was acting like. "Larxene since you think you are so high and mighty, I'm not here to play your little games," he walked by her. "I will talk to you when I'm ready and I have other matters on my mind. No I have not forgotten what youd did to me," he narrowed his eyes at her. "And you're to selfish and ignorant to see whose hand I have. Think hard and try not to hurt yourself." He would give her a taste of her own medicine and hoped she chocked on it.

Cloud folded his arms, thinking she was a waste of time. "I'm not going to waste my breath on you and I'm going to say only this for now. You'll be seeing a lot more of me so get used to it and I haven't forgotten either."

 

"Woah, where you come from mullet guy?"

Gex glanced over at the nobody that had found him in the depths of hades. Looking down, he saw a little girl with blue eyes and raven hair. She seemed to be shy of everything, tightly gripping the mage's hand.
"Who's the two year old there? never thought you'd steal the heart of a little girl."

 

Turning his attention to Gex, he sighed his demeanor changing. He now regretted ever finding this guy in the Underworld especially of how he was turning out to be. Gex was not going to insult Xion. Extending his finger out, he pointed it at him, his eyes narrowed dangerously to slits."Silence dead one. Don't you ever call me that. I was the one that found your worthless corpse in the Underworld so don't forget it. You are to address me as Demyx and that's it. You're are a newbie to the organization, a lower member in rank so get used to it," his tone was serious and a tad deeper as he eyed Gex and thought of him as just above one of his dancers, no a dusk or a creeper. He didn't care what Larxene had said about Xemnas sending her and Gex here. In his mind it was a lie. Xemnas was to occupied to concern with any of his members anyway. He hoped Xemnas was busy and not sending out any of his spys to check on everyone and he hoped the Superior wouldn't summon him back thinking that he was taking to long for getting hearts which in reality he was, but Xemnas didn't know that.

Cloud whipped his head around to see the very one that threw bones at him before. Clenching his fist he kept his cool though. Demyx was holding his own and would deal with Gex if he needed to. "She's not a little girl so hold your tongue."

 

Gex made a salute.

"Of course sir, I mean demyx.
Pardon my bluntness, but I remember that you and
larxene found me in the caverns along with that otherguy, oh that's right, the flame headed guy found xeol. You know, I always found that weird concidering he was never there. Care to explain that to me after we finish the mandate by the superior? You know how he gets. Man, I bet his eyes can pierce your soul and burn your innards. Besides, the faster we work the faster you can get your heart and that little...thing wouldn't have died for nothing."

 

Demyx could tell sarcasm, but he let it slide for now. "You got it all wrong. Larxene never did find you. I did on my own and I had my dancers with me." He placed his hand down by his side and scoffed under his breath. "That doesn't concern you who found Xeol and everyone is to be afraid of the boss for you don't know what his power is do you? He is the most powerful of all nobodies and everyone in the organization fears him. What a stupid thing to say. Of course I'm afraid of him like you should be as well, but even he isn't a mind reader so you should be thankful. Also you should know, which makes him even more dangerous, he can summon any one of us upon his will just by raising his arms up so don't be surprised if he summons you back. He does that a lot and the scary thing is when you least expect it." Demyx smirked, his azure orbs now glistening with might and power behind them, witholding his element for now.

Cloud had noticed how Demyx's mood suddendly changed from being carefree and friendly to down right ruthless and dangerous. He wondered if he wsa bipolar or a clash of two personailties in one body or if Demyx could change his demeanor at random and when he felt like it?

 

"Oh yeah tell me about it. Man it itches when he does that."
Gex twisted his head to the side and cracked his neck. fumes still billowed from his frame. Man, this guy with the mullet needs to just chill. Blah blah blah, I'm a smaller number blah blah blah. Geez, he used to be so calm. What happened to him? Such false emotion wasn't fooling a nobody.

"So, what brings you here to this, oddly colorful area?"

 

(OOC: Wouldn't that be ironic if Xemnas did summon Demyx and Gex? XD)

"And he just does it when he feels like it which freaks me out," Demyx's eyes closed as his "other side" vanished revealing his tensless loveable self. He shook his head as he waved his hand about. It was like he wore a mask to fool everyone including himself. "Oh I'm here on other matters. I have to get hearts too, but who says I can't take a break first? Cloud is helping me since he and I are working together on that, but I wish the boss would just not be so paranoid about us. He needs to get his own life and not be so obsessed with the giant heart looming in the sky. He is obsessed with it." He chuckled imagining Xemnas worshipping it or blowing kisses to it.

There it was again. Demyx was now pleasant and acting like a friend once more. Cloud though it was unusaul to see such a personaility switch from one extreme to the other, but he decided not to question him and simply nodded after Demyx spoke about him working with him.

As if on cue, voices began to flood gex's head.
"NONONO! You just had to open your trap. Now we're jinxed man. We're completely jinked to the degree of a fancy math number!"

Crippled by the onslaught of sound, gex's knees buckled and he fell to the ground.

 

"Um are you okay?" Demyx watched Gex fall on the ground and he shrugged. He found it kind of funny though, but wasn't concentrating on the fact if he was being summoned or not. He didn't hear the boss's telepathetic message yet. If Xemnas wanted him he would have to call out his name and therefore he would know when to answer.

Cloud remained motionless as his eyes shifted to the ground where Gex was. It was weird and he didn't know what was going on? Was Xemnas on top of things like he thought? This was not good.

 

"Leon!" Sora immediately cheered up, and even blushed a little with Yuffie's hug. It was great to see them all again, but he was a little annoyed with the whole password deal.But what the heck, it was like a reunion..only..no Aerith? Odd. Giving Yuffie a tight hug and allowing Goofy and Donald to jump for joy with being reunited with the gang."Haha, its good to see you all again!..but..we've got something to discuss, and it looks like you already know about the Organization. Me, Riku, Donald and Goofy probably can't take them alone..so we came back to ask you for help. Can you come with us?" he asked

Continuing down the path into the town, Roxas froze as his senses were locked on an organization member, who he easily recognized as Axel.So, it seemed things back at the castle were done with. Demyx wasn't crying anymore and everything was as normal as it always was..if you could call it normal. Cocking his head in Axel's direction, he ran toward him, passing by townspeople and children, ultimately making his way to Axel. He smiled and awaited for him to explain, or at least talk about what was going on at the moment.

Was he needed?

 

Aerith pulled Xion to stand beside her, her eyes wary. She was the first concern, because Cloud and Demyx could take care of themselves. Xion worried over other people too much, and got hurt because of it. That was how they had met. She smiled wryly.

Xion clenched her fists, her breathing harsh. She was afraid now...but she didn't know why.

 

Larxene's shoulders slumped as she rolled her eyes.
Wow. The irony of this full moment was beginning to get rather annoying, to the point where she was willing to walk away. But no. Only a cowerdous girl would do that, and that certainly wasn't her.
Opening a portal to Xemnas, Larxene threw the madman through it. Quite a routine beginning to occour now, but still, it shut him up and stopped him from making her look like a downright fool.
"Enjoy the wrath of Xemnas, Gex." She called, before sealing the portal shut, with him on the other end.

So Demyx wanted to play them games? Be all innocent? Wow. This guy could be annoying when he wanted to.
"Oh yeah, Demyx! Maybe then we could grab some milk and cookies like last time, and maybe after that we could get our worthless non-existent soul threatened by Xemnas, and nearly get faded away in the process!" She answered sarcastically. "Isn't that just a swell idea, hmm?"

Larxene began to pace, with only two steps leading her from east ot west. She covered her face in irritation, and let out a small growl. Said growl caused minor crackles of electricity to simmer from her body, bit nothing big. for now.
"Why aren't you collecting hearts?" She demnded, her tone potraying how mad she could get. She knew what was coming next, and if he was going to drag her into trouble again, she would certainly let him know how furious she was. "Now, thanks to your bogus delay, and irritating interruption, we are being stalled for time. Xemnas doesn't like waiting, or slacking, or anything. I don't even think he likes us, for that matter. So when he find out that you have been slacking, or taking a little break, or whatever you wanna call it, he is going to instantly connect that with me. All thanks to your antics when we found cloud. Now that didn't turn out to be good did it?"
She made eye-contact with th Nocturne, just to make she he knew exactly how much he had ground her down.
He'd popped up in memories, her thoughts, and her actions. He unknowingly had nearly destroyed what partnership Gex and Larxene had - their partnership in collecting hearts that is.
And the most annoying thing about everything was that she had slowly begun to compare the two together. Gex and Demyx. How obscure.
If it had been Demyx there when I was singing...he would have joined in and we would have laughed... and so on.

And even after that, he had found a new girl, a girl of which-
Is that Xion?
She looked at the girl in amazment. He had found Xion.
Obviously the amazment was not shown upon her features, but damn, she certainly felt it slowly forming there.

(OOC: No I like long replies and if you think that is long then you should see some of my others I have done in other rpgs and perhaps this one too. Oh what the hey.... I'll post a long reply for this right now. Be amazed. Ehhh it's not one of my longest, but it still works. ^_^)

With his fingers tapping his elbows, he waited in suspense thinking of what kind of turmoil was going to be produced this time? Larxene had a way of ruining a peaceful moment with her presence alone and not that he didn't approve of what she was saying, he just did not want her to cause any trouble for anyone. He had enough chaos in his life to last a long time no thanks to his nemisis Sephiroth who was elsewhere. The blond warrior whom was normally aloof recalled the time that had occured just recently when he and the savage nymph fought with all their strength like two forces of energy combating the other to reign supreme. He came out victorious which proved his status of a fighter and perhaps she was still sore about that. He watched her air of arrogance the way she asserted himself like was a majestic queen of a kingdom and that anyone who came across her should bow to her and kiss her feet. He wasn't going to bow to anyone. The final fantasy VII protagonist saw how easily she threw Gex into a portal and shut his means of escape back to her. Cloud kept his guard up and was willing to protect Aerith and Xion from ever getting in the cluthches of Larxene.

Gusts of sand blew onto the cobbled road as his leather boots were spread apart,the dark as night cloak hiding the rest of his long legs except for the silver lining of his footwear casting a flash of light from them. With his left arm, he postioned it against his stomach where his right hand rested at his side. A groan of irration and annoyance escaped from his throat, warning her that he was not pleased with the whole sacrasm and lecturing technique. How wrong she was. Demyx would hear her out as long as she chose not to use force just yet. His main focus was on Larxene, but in the back of his mind, he kept his subconscience thoughts about Xion and ensuring her safety. Glancing his azure orbs hinted with bitterness towards her, he sighed like a teenager in highschool being reprimanded for an act of absrub behavior. Boy could she talk and talk and never get to the point. Casting his right hand now over his mouth, he opened his mouth to yawn, feeling fatigue set in for a moment before returning his arm back to his side. Was she done yet? Perhaps if he answered her questions she would stop acting like such a spoiled prima donna used to always getting her way. He would set her straight on certain issues. "Larxene, I'm sure you and Gex were slacking off before too. You're not perfect you know." He blurted out what was on his mind. Walking towards her and directing her attention away from Xion, he approached her quickly and stood his ground, his boots scraping the walkway as he walked gracefully with ease and certainity. "I'm allowed to have my breaks too and when did you become such a Xemnas follower? You're kissing up to him for a reason which means you must be in serious trouble because of me," he grinned and touched her shoulder, his water forming at his tips leaving a wet handprint on her cloak after he let go. " How ironic huh?" He turned his back to her for a second and then whirled back over being close to her face to face. "So what did you do this time or are you just here to see me hoping that I will forget that little stunt you pulled with me earlier?" Normally he wouldn't confront her in such a way, but after the agonizing blow to his sensitive region, he was going to reveal another side to him she had yet to see. With a flash of his eyes, they reverted to slits as narrow as a thick line, with energy withheld behind them like a tsanumi ready to wreck havoc onto her vessel. His voice was a tad deeper and serious in tone like he had become another nobody entirely, but this state was ruthless, cunning and dangerous. "Well I got news for ya. I'm not as forgiving as you may think I am especially with the cheap low blow you gave me so don't you think you're going to be off the hook anytime soon. I have plans for you, but you'll just have to wait and see." To finish his promise, he brought his right hand up, snapped his fingers and seconds later, frigid water poured upon her, soaking her from head to toe. Crossing his arms, his glare was like daggers piercing her eyes ready for her to try something. If she did, he would be ready.

 

OOC: Holy ****.

BIC: Xion pulled forward, wanting to go to Demyx. They didn't need to fight, they could just talk, right? Small hands held her back, Aerith's. She strained, trying to go to him. "They can't..." she murmured.

Aerith held onto the girl, her green eyes cold, for once. She watched Cloud and Demyx, sensing the situation could get worse, very worse. She prayed silently, hoping they could get away. From what Xion had told her, Larxene hated her.

Xeol walked towards the palace he made some of the heartless stop taking hearts for the moment. The fog wielder oppend the doors of the throne room he saw his father the sailten he smirked when he father became wide eyed when he saw his son. Xeol smiled before he started talking "oh father it been a while since we last talked but sadly you are not taking care of Agrabah" he said smirking. "how dare you put the blame on me i may be kind but not stupid i know what you did you braught the heartless here" the sailtan said with piercing eyes. The fog wielder laughed happily then stoped looking at his father minicingly "oh so vary true but my fun is not over yet plus its my time to be on throne cause after all i am the prince of this place" Xeol said smilling.

Luxord portaled where Xemnase was he looked at his superior smilling. "superior i well know we neeed to ask you before signing members of lower rank for missions but i concludded it would be a swell plan if Xeol went to Agrabrah to collect hearts" the gambler said to Xemnese unlike the other members he was known to be honest and make decisions that benefited the organization. "i only decided the order on good judgement cause i know how much you hate to dwindle time" Luxord said to his superior.

 

(OOC: so you want detail? ...here we go. and by the way.. D: I expected longer, actually!)

How dare that damn mulleted child, do that to me.

Spitting the water from her mouth, and at Demyx, Larxene took a step forward. Her individual steps were slow, for once, and held imense control within them. She was now a mere 6 inches or so away from the Nocturne, and looking up at him and his smug face.
Her eyes glistened slightly, the pure form of rage and irritation swirling the miniture pools in a small termoil.
She wanted to speak.
So, so badly, she did. But sadly, words could not describe the malefecient, sadistic thoughts running through her mind as to how much she wanted to put him through.
With her white teeth clenched, she let a low his glide through them, and slice the air that seperated the two.
So he thought that he was intimidating? Angry? Hah.
With one swift movement, her tremendous speed took her behind Demyx, letting her enter a dangerous position - on his part, that is.
With one nudge to the back of the Nocturnes leg, she forced it to bend, and set him closer to her height.
With this occurring, Larxene took the chance she had, and grabbed him by his long, blonde strands of hair spiking up and back off his head, and brought him lower and unto her height.
Her lips hovered just off Demyx's ear, as she muttered her deadly, but very smooth words of threat.
"Don't push your damn luck, Demyx; I aam ever-so tempted to slice your throat apart right now." She raised her free hand, and revealed her summoned Kunai spiking from between her slender fingers. "And don't for one moment think that I won't. I have been pushed close to insanity, and I am willing to remove the source of that problem. The source is, as a matter of fact, is you." Every breath came out as a low, rasping hiss into the Nocturne's ear drum, each said hiss, holding only a fraction of the venom and anger she felt towards him for actually forcing that water upon her.

Larxene's eyes flashed up at Cloud, the situation making a sick smile spread across her face.
"And if your friend even makes a move, I will shock him half to death. I hope, Demyx, that you see how much I want you to stop seeping into my thoughts, messing with my head, and acting like you have the upper-hand with me. Because, hunny, you really don't."



(OOC: boom, baby.)

 

a dot appeared before the quarrelsome nobodies. The dot grew and expanded until it was the maw of a giant corridor of darkness. Stepping out, making his boots click against the pavement, came Xemnas. He glared at the two with his uncaring amber eyes. With his subordinates tangled up on the ground, the superior looked larger and more menacing than anytime prior. Folding his arms in a dissappointed fashion, the leader of the nobodies glare at the grinding gears that was stopping the motion of his plans.

"It appears that you each are trying to steal the other's heart for the betterment of our plans. I'd congradulate you except for a critical flaw. Neither of you have such things. I new it was a mistake sending you both to the same world. The both of you are terrible together. You larxene, I don't know what your condition is, but terminate these actions immediately. I gave you a job so do it. You have set a pathetic example for that boy of yours. And you demyx, frankly you are failure after failure. If you hadn't gotten me those two recruits I would have faded you by now."
In the middle of his tyrade, xemnas looked to his left to watch another portal open up. From the corridor of darkness spat gex in a disgusting heap.

Returning his attention to the nymph and the mage, xemnas began to wrap up his orders.

"Since you are both incompetant, I will be assisting you both at this job that should have been handled by...."

Xemnas paused when he looked past demyx to find xion. The traitor? Impossible. Why does she raise her head now. No matter, he will deal with her later.

"Anyway" said xemnas as he turned around.

Time to go.
