A Life to Lead ^_^

Xemnas gazed upon the spectacle. A rare smile graced his face. excellent, most excellent. The somebody was making himself useful. While his soliders were busy being children, that blond boy had lured out the pray. This was perfect, exactly what he needed. Taking one step forward to get a better view of the fight, he readied himself, waiting to claim the hearts he coveted.

Demyx, do you see this?

 

Leon looked at the computer and began hacking into it. There was little trouble as he figured out the password which of course was Ansem's favorite treat which of course was Sea Salt ice cream. An organization symbol had surfaced with records immediately spilled and went into everything and data about the nobodies lesser nobodies their servants and then to the higher ones. He scrolled through observing information about the heartless and the six apprentices being responsible for the heartless existance. Then it went on about the organization as a whole including their names, elements, strengths and weaknesses. More data was even added in momentarily of new members as well. It seemed that Ansem was really good at spying or finding his resources well.
"Damn there is nothing that says what their goal is though. They have no hearts, and pretend to act like they do. Though they go out of their way and steal them. I guess even Ansem doesn't know, about it," he was reliefed a bit that they knew their enemy more, but still he wanted all the information that they could find.


Axel narrowed his eyes slightly at mention of the somebody. Roxas caught on very well without any problem. Though the red head might as well tell him who it is. He couldnt' keep it from him and was not going to lie to Roxas about Sora either "That's right Sora, he can wield the keyblade just like you. Your other half," he starred straight ahead. "So do you want to confront him?" He asked him.

 

Sephiroth teleported around Cloud. While he did this, the air started to heaten as a signal of him about to use Stigma. After some teleports he said, "Feel that heat, Cloud? It's the only retribution you'll ever know. Will you fight a destiny you have written for yourself?"

 

Demyx trembled, but attempted not to show any fear which was easier said then done. "Yes I see Cloud fighting that other guy." He plainly said cautionessly approaching the Superior. "Why do you ask?" In his mind he hated to watch fights for he found them pointless, a waste of time and no resoulution could ever come from it unless someone died and he hoped it wouldn't be Cloud.

Cloud was breathing hard after his attack, but his mind was still set on getting rid of Sephiroth once and for all. Depending on what Sephiorth was going to do next he thought of what his next move would be and it didn't take him that long at all to figure it out. Enraged at what he now knew Sephiroth was going to use from the heat that was rising in the air, Cloud backed away and lept high into the air hoping to prevent Sephiroth from doing so. Swinging his sword over his head he performed the techniqe "blade beam" where waves of energy rushed from Cloud's sword and collided with Sephiroth.

Demyx felt the heat not being cold anymore and felt like Axel had summoned a wall of fire around the area. If there was nothing the water wielder hated more it was fire. Water and fire always clashed, but it all depended on the more powerful fighter to decide who won. Clearly Demyx wasn't a strong fighter and he hoped Cloud would hold his own against him. Besides if he even thought of interfering that could be a disasterous mistake.

Sora examined the dat a as it came on screen, finding it hard to understand such complicated symbols.Though he did remember the names and the portraits that came with them. It was a good start, he'd say that much at least. Having long since release his drive form, he looked to Donald and Goofy for a second before looking back at Leon. "Okay..so we've seen the six founders..but they've gotta be called Organization 'Thirteen' for a reason..and the guy with the red hair, and the others you described weren't on that list..you don't know their names?"

..Sora..his true self.Roxas thought about it.He'd love the chance to confront Sora, but Xion was the prime concern right now, and they still had not gotten a signal or shout back. He was growing worried. "Not yet..Xion comes first."

 

That, demyx, that is your life being spared.

With each passing second, xemnas watched the fight more and more intently. Soon, oh so very soon he will achieve one of the five hearts he needs. Why must battles take so long? The killing blow should already be struck by this point. Hurry hurry hurry.

 

(OOC: That's okay Gatekeeper. I'm getting tired as well, but I'm hanging in there. My typing is getting faster and I hardly even look at the keyboard now.)

"You seriously were going to kill me?" Demyx backed away again. He shook his head not believing what he just heard and refused to believe it. "Boss say it isn't so? You gave me life and now you grow tired of of who Iam and you want to end my life like that?" He snapped his fingers subconsciencously. "No. I will not accept that. I'm of great use and I'm not a mistake of a creation. I was brought into the organization for a reason. Where else are you going to find another water wielder, water the keyword a very forceful element of nature to behold?" He tried to make himself sound useful and important. With maybe a glimmer of hope, Xemnas might have second thoughts, but he highly doubted that.

Cloud pressed harder against the other sword hoping to break it into scrapes of metal with his attack, but he felt himself weakening and his energy was beginning to wain. He had to be strong for Aerith for his friends and he would do his best to defeat the darkness with everything he had.

 

No, but I was going to make you wish that I was. You see demyx, as of late you have been sluggish in your work. Not only that, you have been insubordinate. A dancer had to die simply because you didn't trust me. Even after that you had the gall to bring in these two pets of yours. You needed straightening out make no mistake of that. Cloud's display however has spared you from my wrath, at least for the time being.

 

Demyx breathed a sigh of relief and that if he did have a heart he would of come close to having a heart attack. "I'm sorry. I've been distracted and had other matters on my mind," he apologized. "I'll try to remain more focused with my tasks and not try not to question your methods. You have been very leniant boss and I appreciate that more then you know." He thought of the dancer that became human for a short time and then dissolved back into the darkness. He wouldn't let that happen again. Walking over towards him again, he hoped to be forgiven and lowered his head, raised it up once more and starred into the boss's eyes. "All in all boss, Cloud is proving to be useful isn't he? So that means I have done something right for a change?" He grinned somewhat hoping to ease the tension.

"Die!" Cloud shouted his power growing as his muscles tried to muster as much strength as they could manage. He could not fail. He thought of Leon and wondered if he was all right and Aerith was in the back of his mind. Tifa was also a huge influence on him never doubting that his light would ever be snuffed out like a candle. He felt his body hurting, but still he forced himself through the pain. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" His scream could be heard through out Hollow Bastion.

 

Not so fast Demyx. First Cloud must succeed in obtaining the heart. If he does, then you are in the clear. If he isn't, we'll be having a diffrent conversation. Remember that now demyx. our hearts depend on it.

 

(OOC: Tired...as well.....)

Leon slammed his fist in frusteration. He didn't think that Ansem couldn't find the information on them, but now he needed to find an reason on it. "That is because they were the newer members that Ansem had no idea had joined the organization. He looked throughout the Ansem reports, but didn't see anything about the 7-13. "You see Ansem's apprentices became the 6 oringal nobodies that betrayed him and those six must of recruited more of them, Yes, there are 13 of them, but no I have seen more of them than that," [/B]He confessed. He thought about giving out the names, but then Cloud might get angry with him. No they were just names so what was the harm in it. He had remembered their computers and certain ones calling each other by names. "From what I can remember is that there is Axel, Demyx, Luxord, Larxene, Marluxia and Roxas," he replied going by memory.

Axel nodded his head knowing this is what Roxas wanted and he would stand by his decision. It was disappointing that they had to go look for Xion now. He didn't think that his disappearance would cause her to run away again. He snapped his head in anothe direction hearing Cloud's yell and then glanced back at Roxas "Okay that is fine, so where do you think we should look now?" he asked. He then asked another question. "Roxas, what are you going to do once we find her?" He was trying to be serious this time as if wondering if when the time came would the blonde kid peruade her back in the organization or leave her be.

 

"Scream like you did when you learned your purpose was to suffer," Sephiroth said this as flames started to visibly appear around the two. "Perish in flames," Sephiroth said. He pressed harder on the offensive, aiming to give no room for running away. He would not run away, and he expected as much from Cloud.

 

Cloud felt the flames burn around him trying to consume him in the inferno. "No! I will not let this happen!" He was prepared to unleash another one of this attacks. With his body shaking and him feeling the extreme heat, he panted and set on preparing the next attack. Waving his sword overhead, Cloud created a whirlwind known as Finishing touch sucking the flames up and forcing Sephiroth to the ground so that he may have the advantage and take him out in a quicker fashion.

"Yeah I'll remember that." He was overstepping once more and had to be careful of what he should do or say. The fire though was getting to him and he thought about summoning his own water to cool himself off and even help Cloud, but the fight was the blond warrior's and he would not take that away from him. "You're not going to step in at all?"

 

Now if I did that I'd only get in the way. A fight like this is only efficient if done one on one. Besides, even if I didn't think that, I'd send you in instead. Oh, I almost forgot Demyx. I told you not to question me.

 

"Then perish in your own darkness," Sephiroth said as he used Shadow Flare and summoned Dark Orbs. The wind carried them to Cloud, and while they were carried they merged into one Dark Orb, bigger then the rest of them individually, and yet still it headed for Cloud. "Know true darkness."

 

Aerith took a step back, then ran toward the house, her heart pounding. She had to get back, had to. Cloud and Xion needed her. Please please please let them be okay. she prayed.

Xion gasped for breath, then collided with the one person she had been trying to find. "Aerith!" she gasped, holding onto her as Aerith towed her along. "It's okay, sweetie. Let's go home." Aerith told her.

 

(OOC: I'll be right back. I have to pick up some money that is owned to me so I will return as soon as I can. Expect me around 8pm my time.)

Demyx listened and knew he messed up again. "Oh my bad sorry," he smiled sheepishly. "I have a very bad habit of doing that. Just remind me when I do it." He wanted to slink away and dive into the dephs of the deepest ocean for he was so embarrased that his cheeks were blushing.

Cloud fought against Sephiorth's other attack as he screamed out once more from the exhilaeration of the attack summoning upon him. He cursed himself for using his last technique for he wasn't thinking clearly. He bounded against the ground, ran against the side of the building and lept up again trying to get out of the darkness that the orb was going to deal him with damage. He had to counter it. His technique of Metorrain came into play,a barrage of meteors raining down upon it.

 

Aerith closed her eyes, then opened them again. "Cloud!" she yelled, still holding Xion protectively. This wasn't good.....She hoped Sephiroth didn't notice Xion, she was a weak link. "Stay with me, sweetie." she murmured, pushing the girl lightly behind her.

 

OOC: If I'm gone by then, I'm sorry.

BIC: The Darkness from the Shadow Flare unsettled, breaking into smaller pieces. Some fell to the ground, cloacking it in shadows. Others still went at the meteors. Sephiroth teleported to dodge falling debris, using them as stepping stones on his way to Cloud.

 

Demyx thought he heard Aerdith's voice yell out to Cloud. Looking at the boss he wondered if Xion was with her or still in the house with Roxas? He didn't know Roxas had left and was with Axel now. He couldn't sense anything except the battle that was taking place. He dodged the falling debris as it rained upon the ground. "Boss who do you think is going to win and how much longer do you think the battle will last?" He asked being as respectful as he could.

Cloud sensed Aerith's presence giving him more determination then ever. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw embers and the metors stirke the dark orb. With his intense speed, he used Climhazzard skewer Sephiroth on a upper region of his body and attempted to slash down upon after using the debries as leverage to make him leap high into to the air only to bring his sword down upon Sephiroth.
