A Life to Lead ^_^

Xion searched wildly for any kind of sanity. There was so much anger and hate......she could sense good feelings, but if Aerith hadn't been with her, she might have gone insane. As it was, she held onto the older girl as she closed her eyes.

Aerith pulled out her staff, narrowing her eyes, as she held onto Xion with the other hand. "It's okay, sweetie. I'm here with you." She whirled the staff experimentally, then waited. She had to stay with Xion, she couldn't attack.

 

Sephiroth teleported, barely avoiding a fatal piece of debris and attack. He laughed up blood. "Killing me wont prove a thing, and you know that, Cloud. In the end, it will only prove to them how similar we are," Sephritoh said this in pain, laughing up more blood. Sephiroth grabed his Masamune and slashed at Cloud.

 

Larxene glanced at the Nocturne, before looking at her superior with great respect and loyalty. "My leige, you must excuse our childish dispute that has been occurring for the previous occasions we have crossed paths." She opened her curled fists, and let her kunai's drop and fade before they hit the ground.
With some slight thought being put into her emotionless words, she spoke to her superior with a solid tone, but still held all the respect she could for the silver haired nobody.
"Sir, may I please have your permission to speak with Demyx alone for a moment? In that moment, if granted, it will give us time to get over the dispute the keeps reoccurring when we meet, and will prevent any further quarrels to commence. Do you agree?"
Her face was emotionless, put her thoughts proved otherwise.
Why didn't he finish me off there? Is Demyx enjoying this fight, or what?
Oh boy, she had questions.

Amber decided to talk to the keyblader cause hurting people just was not her enjoyment. But she knew that would be betraying the organization but if there was a way to become whole again without bloodshed she would risk it. "Xeol is probally causing mayhem i need to talk to Sora again" Amber looked down at the ground "and appologize" she said sighing before she opend up a portal. She looked at the portal and thought about her action she walked into the portal appearing at Hallow Bastion


Xeol looked at the two prisoners trying to decide wish one to pick he made his fingur point to one then back to the other repeatidly. "lets see i pick you" the fog wielder said smilling to the prisoner the man stood there stuned afraid of what would happen. "your free" Xeol said to him then he smiled wickidly before he finished "from this life" he said as an neo-shadow appeard beside Xeol. The neo-shadowed studied its prey then it jumped and landed on the guy and resumed its vicous attack eating the persons heart. the other prisoner fell to his eyes from the horrific site "oh looks like your suffering let me help" the fog wielders said as another neo-shadow appeard then attacked the other prisoner. Xeol laughed happily as he saw the two prisoners get their hearts stolen then dissappeard.

 

A little caught off guard by his question, Roxas looked down towards the ground now, ignoring the sounds of battle close by.He had been thinking of it, and was planning on staying with Xion.He was torn between being with his friend in the organization, and his friend who was living free.He knew what Axel's duty was within the organization, and if it came to that, so be it. Roxas wouldn't die on his knees.

"..I was planning on staying with her..and I know that if I leave the organization they'll try to--" he looked towards Axel now, facing him completely."..Well..you'll kill me..it's your job, isn't it?" he questioned. Did Axel have what it took to kill him? Before waiting for an answer, Roxas leaped down from the roof and watched the fight from a distance.Intense..a little bit dramatic, but intense. In the midst of it all, Roxas glimpsed at Aerith holding Xion closely. "Axel..make a choice.." he told him before running towards Xion, making sure to stay out of the middle of the fight completely.

"Xion!" he called to her, hoping to grab her attention. He still kept his senses up in case Axel made his choice to kill him.

Still not enough. With all the Ansem Reports he had collected on his adventures, he figured there would be more information on these members. Axel..Demyx..Larxene..Roxas. Yen Sid had already informed him about his nobody, and just thinking about the Organization turning him evil got under his skin.He wanted to save him."..And you weren't a match for one?" Leon must've been getting rusty, or the Organization really was just that powerful. Still..for someone to best Leon like that so easily..

"Where's Cloud when you need him..he'd help..if it got him closer to Sephiroth he would.."

 

Xion turned, her eyes blurred, then recognized Roxas. She ran to him, almost crying, and hugged him. "Are you okay? Did you find Axel?" Her mind tumbled, everything getting to her, but she shook her head, trying to focus.

Aerith stayed in front of them. Xion wouldn't stand a chance if she were made to fight. Aerith would have to protect them both.

 

Hugging her back, Roxas wasn't sure of how to begin. 'Yeah, and he might kill me now.' was just..not something you say. It was more difficult than he thought. "Yeah..he should be behind me for sure this time..look at me Xion." he urged her, noticing her acting fatigued. He needed her full attention to say this.

 

She leaned on him, trying to focus. "I'm here." she murmured, holding him as tight as she could. "I'm here. Is everything okay?" She looked up, worry in her eyes.

Aerith looked behind her for a second. "Roxas....Xion is plagued by the emotions and memories of those close to Sora. The closer relationship they have, the more she gets. She is having trouble because of the fight. She's as close to us as she can be right now."

 

Nodding to Aerith, Roxas would have to make this quick so Xion could move away and regain control over her emotions and memories. His eyes fell back on Xion, and his hesitation met her worry. He didn't want to believe Axel would kill him ..but it was always a possibility. He was the Organization's assassin ..he exposed the traitors and dealt with them. "..Xion..I'm leaving the Organization to be with you..there's nothing for me to accomplish with them..and..I want to be by your side...that's not all." he took a deep breath, hoping she didn't panic. "..You know Axel is the one who always brought you back..and he's the one who takes care of traitors..and now, I'm a traitor. Your two best friends, Axel and I ..are going to be against one another as long as he stays with the Organization..it all depends on his choice and his words..he's my friend, but so are you..and the Organization isn't getting me anywhere."

 

Xion felt overwhelmed, but she held onto Roxas tightly, her blue eyes growing wider. "Roxas...." she shook her head, not so much as denial as trying to stay awake. "He wouldn't..." she murmured. "You're like his brother....Roxas..." she sensed he was going to go, but couldn't let him go yet. "You remember your promise?" she asked.

 

"I remember..but I'm not losing you again..I won't let it happen." Roxas brought his hands to her shoulders and smiled, hoping she'd feel better with this move. He didn't want to bring depression. All he wanted to do was let her know how things would be. "..And brother or not, he's still with the Organization ..everyone fears Xemnas except me.." he added.

 

Aerith moved away, toward Cloud, giving the two privacy. Xion knew enough to hold on. She would be fine, as long as she didn't fight.

Xion smiled bravely, looking into his eyes. They were almost the same color as hers. "I'm not scared of him, if you and Axel are there. We'll find each other." she promised. "If we lose the other, we'll always find each other."

 

"...Right." Roxas nodded in agreement, noticing Aerith moving away. He hoped she knew what she was doing, as that fight was dangerous.But now came the time to ask her. "..But..do you want me to stay here with you?..I might bring trouble to you."

 

Xion nodded, clinging to him. "If Axel has to fight, he can fight us both." she whispered, not daring to look at the fight. She was just barely getting a handle on herself again.

Roxas smiled at that. No matter what, she was willing to stand by him. While Axel would do the same, Roxas wasn't entirely sure now that he left the Organization."..One more time..look at me." he requested.

 

Xion complied, forcing herself to focus and look up at him. "Yes, Roxas?"

 

Leaning forward, Roxas stopped as he grew closer. "This is sudden..but.." deciding to go on ahead and do it, Roxas pressed his lips against hers, kissing her. It was in the moment most likely, but he felt as if it was something he had to do.

..No..something he wanted to do.. for a while now..yet never working up the courage to do it.

Holding that kiss for fifteen seconds at most, Roxas pulled away, bringing his arms around her.

 

Xion's eyes widened, and she almost stopped breathing. She let him do it though, enjoying it too, if she would have had the courage to admit it to herself. When he pulled back, she held onto him, the emotions almost knocking her over backwards. Which ones were his, and which were hers?

 

Now Roxas was a little worried about what she thought of him as. Maybe he was too sudden but..the moment felt right, at least to him it did. His hands around her waist, Roxas looked worried. "Bad thing to do?" he questioned.

 

She shook her head, smiling breathlessly. "It just took me by surprise..." she wasn't sure how to express how she felt, or what she wanted to feel. "Roxas..." she hugged him tight, not being able to find any words, but using actions instead. Slowly sorting through the emotions, she held onto him tightly.
