A Life to Lead ^_^

"...Together..Forever." Roxas muttered silently, slowly backing away from the fight. It was a mistake of his to get so emotional in a dangerous place, but he couldn't help himself.
"We can go, Xion..wherever we want..as long as its okay with Aerith." he smiled at the thought of being as free as she was.

 

Xion stayed with him, then looked at Aerith, her blue eyes focused. Aerith turned, nodded, then ran toward the fight. "Let's go." she murmured, holding him tightly. "Together."

 

(OOC: Woah real smart to show romance when someone is battling. Hope you don't get hurt by the falling debri. >_< )

Cloud heard Sephiorth's words and grimaced when he watched him spit up blood. He dodged the slash, having it strike his sword in the process. He was annoyed with the whole battle and now Aerith and brought Xion with her which was only making things worse. During his battle he heard bits and pieces of the conversation of Roxas speaking to Xion. Not that it was any of his business, but it was disturbing to hear this when there was a battle. He did not want to be responsiable if anyone got hurt in the process. He knew there would be extensive damage, but the fate of lives being lost was not something he wanted on his conscience. "Hey the both of you. Get the hell out of here now!" He shouted as he prepared for his next upcoming attack. "This is no place for children!"

Demyx listened to Larxene and he knew her words would have to wait for Xemnas wasn't answering and he was concerned about the whole deal of the battle. He heard Cloud shout harshly to Xion and Roxas. Even though they were not to close, Cloud could sense them. Demyx was closer to the battle then they were, and he dodged the incoming attacks from the fire and metor strikes the best he could. Upon seeing Xion and Roxas, he slapped his forehead after he saw the two kiss and his eyes widened. What the hell was Roxas thinking? What would Axel think of all of this? Looking up at the different barage of attacks, the town could be destroyed within minutes if this kept up. He watched the people from the town run for their lives, screaming their heads off as more destruction came forth. Now stepping forward, he seized Roxas and Xion by picking them both up in his arms and brought them to a safter distance as he placed them down by Aerith making sure she was away from Cloud as well. "Stay away from all of this." He ordered not knowing Roxas had made the decision to betray the organization. "Do you want to get killed? This place is going to become nothing, but ashes and rumble real soon."

 

"...Don't touch me." Roxas muttered angrily, rubbing his arm and glaring at Demyx. As if he was dumb enough to let anything happen to Xion. His senses had been open the entire time..and yet the guy had to try and show off, acting as if he was a big brother character. Did he and that guy really think they were ordinary kids? The nerve of these guys, abusing their age so they'd try to think they were smarter because of it. "And I didn't need your help..I wouldn't let anything happen to Xion."

Great, now he was angry.

OOC: Not like anyone's hitting anyone so it doesn't matter

 

Amber was walking in the streets trying to think what she would say to sora. "oh hey sorry about trying to kill your friend" she hite her forhead cause it sounded so stupid. Amber sighed would the keyblader even want to talk to her by betraying his trust. She had to apologize to him even if she got attacked.

 

Demyx backed off and was sorry he even helped the little ingrate. Roxas was being extremely moody and needed to calm down. "Geez Roxas you don't need to bite off my head like that. What's with you anyway?" He was concerned and didn't know what was going on? "Why are you attacking me? I only didn't want you to get hurt is all." Demyx who towered over Roxas, waved his arm in the air and then placed it right where his heart would be if he had one. He glanced at Xion wondering what you thought of all of this?

Cloud swung his buster sword again at Sephiroth striking with such rage and fury, that he colllided to the ground inches near Roxas's own feet. "Keep him and Xion and Aerith away. I do not want him involved in this so do what you have to do to keep him away from the battle field." He turned his head addressing Demyx with shortness of breath, but harshness in his tone and then jumped high back up into the air, using the buildings that were crumbling as like stepping stones and leverage to gain more altitude.

 

"Don't you think they'd like to watch you die, first? Though, you may be right. Does a death of one so cowardley even dererve a audience? I don't know whether to think of your life as a tragedy or comedy, Cloud," Sephiroth said as he dashed at Cloud, jumping and slashing through debris on the way.

 

"I knew what I was doing, so don't rush in and save the day like your some kind of hero..because your not. No one in the Organization is..I'm done with all of you." Roxas responded, ignoring Cloud entirely as he leaped back in the fight. There, he had come clean. He was done with the Organization and most of the members. It was over with.

OOC: She's away..she'll post tonight.

 

Leon held his hands by his head trying in that detail with his fight even though it seemed that Sora was judging him on his fight with an organization member. "No, I wasn't. I was solo and the guy didn't give me any mercy with the way he was fighting. You would of stood a better chance because of the spells that you can use to interact with your keyblade and focusing on the weaknessess on the element. The guy almost made me into an heartless and would of if Cloud didn't show up when he did," he mentioned calmly taking a few deep breaths. Leon perked his head up and heard Cloud's cries. "He is fighting Sepiroth," he added.


Axel sighed as he watched Roxas leap down and go after Xion. The red head shook his head. He didn't know what he would do. Could he possibly kill his best friend? Too many thoughts were driving through his mind as he watched the battle onward. He was dreading this moment and wished he didn't even mention it, but something in his soul had told him to breech the outchanging question. He couldn't betray the organization, but either way he might have to be playing double agent if that was the case. It was the only option if anything. Taking a deep breath he summoned a portal and went to look for Roxas and Xion. His portal lead him right where he saw Demyx and Roxas arguing. "What the hell is going on here?" He folded his arms sternly at both of them.


Saix had gotten Xenmas's earlier before and watched from an distance observing the fight as the Lunar had already destroyed a few people that he took their hearts with the help his Berserkers. They were strong hearts, but not as the strongest as he knew that Xenmas had in mind. He wondered what Sepiroth's heart would accomplish and how much closer they were to gain their hearts. The little fight was interesting to him, but also an annoyance if any.

 

(OOC: Be on later. Have to leave and hope to be back around 5 or 6pm my time maybe sooner.)

Demyx was shocked at what he heard. He didn't know what to say and shook his head now knowing Roxas and him were no longer friends, but enemies. He saw Axel and knew it was time to speak the truth "Then you're a traitor." He narrowed his eyes at Roxas, finger extended out. "And you know what happens to traitors Roxas." He paused to let this words sink in. "Axel will be after you . You can't deny that. I should have seen this coming. The moment you saw Xion was bad news yet she was so friendly and thinks of me as like a brother, but something more to you. It's her choice, but you better get the hell out of here before the boss finds out." He summoned his sitar ready to strike him down letting him know he meant business. "Now go before I'm forced to do something I regret!" He yelled at him. It was a huge shame. Roxas had made the wrong decision and would regret it for the rest of his life.

Cloud guarded and retailated to the best of his ability. He was getting worn out, but still he had to pursue this. Roxas had messed up his concentration with his loud voice at Demyx announcing his betrayal and because of this Cloud was slashed by Sephiroth in the arm and he screamed a death curtling yell as he plummeted to the ground holding his shoulder in agonizing pain as he caught himself before fallling on his back. He did a flip and landed near Roxas once more. That kid just didn't know when to leave. Glaring in his direction, at the one who caused him to lose his focus, his eyes still held the Mako within he lunged at Roxas. "Leave or die at my or Sephiroth's hands!" Repeately he slashed the buster sword at Roxas as a warning as Demyx only watched not bothering to help him in anyway. Cloud glanced up once more knowing his fight was with Sephiroth and not some young punk kid. With his sword pointed at Roxas, he kept his eyes on him and Sephiorth waiting for his next attack.

 

Amber heard the yelling she ran to the scene and she saw demyx with his sitar and Roxas seemed to be the target. She knew he probolly trying to get away he did not bleong like she did not and she needed to make amends. "Roxas go" she said loudlly to the blond nobodie. Amber raised her hand with her eyes clossed "i know im betraying but if i stay im betraying myself" she thought as she made an crystal wall form between demyx and Roxas. "go so you can accomplish your reason so dont die cuty" she said winking to the blond nobodie.

 

Focusing more on the attacker rather than one of Demyx's little speeches, Roxas summoned his Kingdom Key and parried Cloud's attacks, his resolve for the Organization helping him hold his ground. Obviously he was going to go, not because Demyx pulled out his little instrument, and not because Cloud attacked him, and not because Amber came out of nowhere and decided to call him cute...it was because he was free now. No one but himself made every choice. It was unfortunate that no one else would experience this.

As soon as Cloud stopped the attacks but kept his blade pointed at him, Roxas lowered it slightly and looked to Axel, who was questioning what was going on. His expression serious, Roxas didn't sugarcoat things. "..What does it look like to you, Axel?..I'm done with the Organization..I'm a traitor, and I want to ask you again..can you kill me?" he questioned, looking to all the Organization members present. Lastly, he looked at Xion, obviously about to leave. But she would know where to find him, just as Axel might if he tried.

Finally, he looked towards Demyx. "...Without me.." he looked towards Axel."You'll never be free." darkness swirled under him, and with a last glance to Xion, he disappeared.

"So Cloud IS here! Let's go, he probably needs us!" Sora had little time to think.All he could do was run towards where the fighting was. He wouldn't lose again, not this time!

 

Sephiroth's body started to glow with darkness,and he landed on a rooftop that hadn't been damaged badly by the debris. "You're becoming more like me every second, Cloud. Lashing at your own "friends". Let's see how alike we are as of now. Over saving a friend or killing me, which would you choose? Do you even have a choice even more, or have you lost yourself in your own ignorance?" Sephiroth said this and sent Shadow Flares at Aerith, then jumped off the rooftop and started to run towards the direction of Cloud.

 

Leon looked at Sora and hesitated, but went along with him. He knew that the fight was progressing, but he knew that Cloud would only want to fight his own battle. He knew that Sora was determined, but he wouldn't let him. "Cloud, wouldn't want us to get hurt though. Sepiroth and him is in his business, we should do something else," He replied.


Axel was a bit hurt that it seemed that Roxas was turning his back on him and then ran off again. How was he supposed to give him his answer if he kept on doing this? The red head looked at Demyx sadly. He whispered something to Demyx that only he could hear. "I am not going to kill him, so you can see me as an enemy then. Nor if I am going to betray the organization. Roxas is just confused, he is afraid which is all," he drew back his vision focusing on Xion and held her close to him. "Aerith wouldn't want you to get hurt, and neither would Roxas," he held her back.

 

Demyx shook his head after Axel had spoken to him and then he turned his back on him as he gripped his fist. It would of been better if he never knew the key bladewielder if he knew he would turn out like this. The next time he saw Roxas, it would be to talk some sense into him or be forced to get rid of him all together. Roxas had to accept the fact, that he could never be free, so he could go run away and pretend he is all high and mightly and pretend he is tough, but in the end he was a nobody, a nothing not even even supposed to exist. "Roxas is a kid, a little confused ingrate who doesn't know anything except what he thinks is right. He never liked me anyway no matter how friendly I was towards him. It's a shame, but there is nothing I can do about it. You do as you wish Axel. Go after the little **** bird. It's not in my hands anymore. He's dead to me." He couldn't even face Axel not liking the idea of him being a double agent. Who could trust someone like that? What if Axel whole idea was to betray the organization all because of Roxas. That brat made him sick now. Roxas had done more damage than he realized.

Cloud had watched Roxas disappear obviously knowing he was no match for the warrior who had plenty of years of fighting experience. Let him run, let him live. It didn't matter to him. His objective was Sephiroth and saving Aerith from getting blasted. Cursing him, he used his blinding speed to parry the attacks and whisked Aerith to safety. "Stay away from the battle. Sephiroth will only use you as a target." He sternely gazed at her and then left within seconds to defeat the long silver haired man who would not go down without a fight.

 

"It's not like you wouldn't kill them yourself. Could you be man enough to admit it? Can a coward not be decent enough to say there a coward? Though, perhaps you have fallen more then I thaught. Perhaps giving into me would be more noble then your current course. Do you even have a destiny after defeating me? I am the sole thing that truly defines you and gives your existance purpose," Sephritoh said.

Kexlaybed adjusted his helmet while he, hidden in the shadows, watched Demyx and Roxas. The mood had been tense, thick with conflict. Any ignorant individual watching would have known immediately by the looks on each of the Nobodies' faces.

"It seems like they knew what they should have been feeling," Kexlaybed thought, "But how? Memory is a function of the Heart, which Nobodies don't have. Perhaps the Mind has an influence, but that doesn't explain Roxas. He has no conscious memory of his past, yet he still knows when he should feel what."

Kexlaybed melted into a shadow, emerging from another several miles away behind Cloud.

"Crap!" he thought to himself, "I took a wrong turn in the shadow world."

 

Cloud's tightened his hold on his sword and dashed at Sephiorth, his legs leaping into the air over his head and kicked Sephiorth underneath his chin. With his speed to get away from him, he readied his stance once more. "I'll do what I have to and that is to get rid of you." He stated coldly ignoring the rest of Sephiporth's words that dripped in his voice like venom in Cloud's ears.

Demyx in truth was hurt by what Roxas said to him. Of course he would be complete one day once he got his heart. How could the young boy say without him he would never achieve it? He was upset and felt like Roxas had slapped or spat in his face and he had taken his bitterness upon Axel. In truth Demyx was scared of losing his friend, the one nobody he held high regard for and he hoped that Roxas was just what Axel said confused and would come back, but the look of the determination in his eyes and the sound of his tone made him think otherwise. Sighing he looked down to the ground, afraid of what was going to happen now that Roxas was presented a traitor.

 

Sephiroth just stood and laughed, it was a short laugh, but it seemed to echo hauntingly. "Even loose the thing you value most? My company?" Sephirtoh put up his Masamune in a position to show he wasn't going to defgend himself or attack. "Go ahead, show them how you, the honored hero, kills a defensless foe. I would have done it, and they know it. You know it also. You're just a bad reflection in the mirror. Ideals twisted, skills disfigured. Do you even know what they'll think of you after you kill me? If you kill me, you become me. If you don't kill me, you give into me," Sephiroth said.

 

Axel shifted his gaze on Demyx momentarily his red head bursting through the wind because of the vibration of the fights. He didn't want to fight with Demyx or the seemly grudge he had on him. "Demyx you can think what you wish about Roxas, but you should of known that this contract would complicate things. I would be crazy if I don't go after him, like you I care about him," he replied his arms crossed severely, but he still held Xion in his grasp. He began summoning forth a portal.
