A Life to Lead ^_^

Roxas nodded, finishing zipping up his cloak and heading outside again. He ignored the Organization members and instead had his attention on Aerith, who looked indeed sad. "Aerith ..are you ...okay?" he questioned, heading over to her.

OOC: Sora next time..meh...not into him

 

Kexlaybed attacked the the One Winged Heartless. Spinning his Keyblades he rushed, throwing one at him aiming for the chest. It missed, skimming the shoulder and reappearing in his hand. He then started bringning down his other Keyblade over the Heartless' head, hoping to at least make him flinch.

 

"Why fight a battle you can not win? Fate is obviously against you. I also see fear in your eyes. Tell me, is it of me, or Cloud?" the Heartless Sephiroth said these words as he and his Nobody counterpart picked up there Masamunes.

 

Xion followed, tugging on Aerith's arm. "Aerith..." she looked so lost, for once. Aerith was the one who needed saving, and the only one who could was gone.

Aerith shook her head, then smiled at the two younger members. "He's gone Xion. Just like you warned me." She nodded to Roxas, then instinctively tucked a strand of hair behind Xion's ear. "I have to go after him."

 

(OOC: Cloud is already gone. He went into the Corridor of Darkness. You need to edit your post The Dream Traveler.)

Demyx shook his head laughing underneath his breath. "What a fool you are who ever you are. Cloud is already gone. Did you not hear what I said?" He mentioned after noticing Roxas was comforting Aerith. He didn't say a word to him though and waited for Xemnas to either go into the portal himself, or speak to himself once more. Still he stayed beside Xemnas for protection.

 

"...Aerith ..if he's willing to leave you without a goodbye, then he doesn't seem to appreciate you at all..and besides, its too dangerous ..they'll take your heart." Roxas warned, wanting to keep her out of harms way.

Aerith smiled. "There's danger everywhere. I could die walking to the church, or break my neck going up the stairs. Please, Roxas." Her green eyes were almost blank, except for a brief spark of hope. That she could find him and make amends.

Xion took Roxas' hand, her eyes worried. Aerith needed to do this...but she didn't want to lose her mother like figure. "Aerith...."

 

Holding Xion's hand tightly, Roxas narrowed his eyes, wanting to refuse once more. But she was determined to watch over Cloud ..and he couldn't stop her fire. "..All right ..but let us go with you, just to make sure you'll be safe." he offered, not expecting to be refused. He could at least make the portal, but what would protect her in the Corridors of Darkness?

 

Aerith hesitated, then nodded. "As long as you take care of Xion." she agreed. "It's going to be hard on her. I can take care of myself." She smiled, reaching back to touch her bow for a second.

 

Axel nodded towards Demyx as he focused his attention on the other guy watching him attack the nobody Sepiroth. It was a bit confusing to him, but he wondering if Xenmas wanted this nobody at all. Or was it sacrifice for him? He had spotted Roxas moving towards Aerith and was not a bit surprised when his best friend didn't even acknowledge him at all. It was his choice, but Axel had a job to do. He hadn't betrayed him, but the flurry was still lost in the meantime. Or he may be surrounded he wasn't sure.

Leon got a little ticked off with this cocky nobody and threw himself into the battle and started attacking him. "Shut up. You are bad as the orginal Sepiroth." he slammed him with his gunblader in the chest. "God now I know how Cloud feels,"

Saix made his way into the portal as he needed to discuss some things with Xenmas especially with what their goal was going to lead them. He paid no attention to the others at all.

 

"Right." Roxas nodded, raising his free hand and creating a portal to The World That Never Was. Making sure Xion was beside him, he looked to her. "Ready?" he questioned, taking a step towards the portal.

 

Aerith stepped through before him, her hand going for her staff. She had been able to get a few new improvements in it, all the better.

Xion nodded, then kissed his cheek. "Wait here a second." she murmured, then went over to Axel and spontaneously gave him a hug, ignoring any and all danger.

 

The portal closed behind xemnas and lead to the altar of naught. With great purpose, he walked toward the giant heart in the sky. He looked up and gazed at its beauty. It was his whole world.

 

Roxas blushed and nodded, watching her run off towards Axel. While she did that, he put his eyes on Aerith, hoping her light would protect her in the Corridors.

 

The Nobody of Sephiroth teleported shortly after impact behind Leon. "Is that the best line you can come up with? Shut up? Are you more talkatve then Cloud, atleast?" The Nobody swung his Masamune at Leon.

 

Shortly after Xemnas departed with Saix, Demyx left as well and joined his master at the Altar of Naught. He looked at the sky as well seeing what Xemnas had planned after all. "Boss, this has been a wonderful day. I told you Cloud would be useful to us. If it wasn't for my idea to get him to work for us none of this would have been possible."

Cloud had made it to the castle, his eyes being completly devoid of any emotion. He felt empty not sure what he had done was the right thing? He approached Demyx and Xemnas and waited to see what they were doing? "I've returned," he said to Demyx.

"That's great Cloud. You see with your help, we're closer to becoming complete. I'm glad I actually know what is going on for a change," he grinned and looked at his new friend.

"Yeah, but at least I survived and now Sephiroth has become more powerful then ever, but it was bound to happen I suppose."

 

Looking up at the kingdom hearts with amber eyes, he flashed his smile once more. Will all the ritual in the world, he lifted the freshly harvested heart and offered it to his most treasured possesion. It floated upward quickly and gracefully. It was absorbed into the collective. The objects glow became far more radiant.

 

Aerith turned, her green eyes sparkling. "Let's go get Cloud back." she murmured, waiting for Xion. She understood what the girl was doing.

 

Axel was astonished with Xion had came over and gave him a hug. There was no wariness from him anymore or untrust. "I thought I would never see you again," He knew that they were still friends, but what would happen now. He didn't know what would happen now. "Can you tell me what is going on?" he looked at her as he embraced her once more. It was a long time since he had seen her and it would be an pain to lose her once more.


Leon narrowed his eyes at Axel his fists clenched, but he focused his attention on the nobody of Sepiroth. "Don't you ever give up? Ever get tired of fighting people?" He asked as he avoided the nobody's attack. He used his own special attack twirling his gunblade fast and whacked him in the head. He was curious as to why Sora hadn't come in to help him at all. He wondered where Cloud had gone and Aerith.

 

Demyx glanced at the sight of the heart as it became brighter. He saw the happiness in Xemnas's eyes which made them think that they did have feelings and emotions otherwise how would they express it? He didn't want to ruin the boss's moment with the beloved heart so he decided to answer Cloud. "Don't feel bad for what you did. You had no idea this was going to happen. Remember what we talked about before? You said you always had darkness and you would do what it took to survive. None of those people in your town appeciated you except for maybe a few, but how could you go back and face them again? What would they think of you? They are to judgemental and they would cast you aside like a worn out boot. You did what you had to do. You did it to protect the ones you love. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

Cloud nodded knowing what Demyx said was the truth. He didn't destroy the town out of evil desires. He did it to stop Sephiroth. He signed the contract to help Aerith and his friends pay for their expenses since there was hardly any work anymore. He didn't think he was evil, but his conscience was eating at him inside of what he had unleashed. To not give in to any weakness he brushed his guilt aside. "You're right. I need to not think of the past and move forward."
