A Life to Lead ^_^

Axel froze for a moment when he heard Roxas's voice. He had no idea that his best friend had decided to speak out now, as he thought that Roxas didn't want anything to do with him. Still he needed an explanation and the flurry wished he should of asked sooner, but the situation with Xenmas and Saix there eariler would cause suspicion which is why he didn't want to say anything. However now he wanted to know. "I know that you want to stay with Xion, but I just want you to becareful. Just because you are making your own choice doesn't mean you should treat me like an enemy. Regardless of what the organization would want me to do I will not and won't kill you," he replied. He though however was curious with Roxas's next sentence., but he had to get out what was bothering him first. "Okay, then tell me, but before you do there is another thing I want to bring up. I heard bits of pieces of you and Demyx having a confrontation and from what I heard you had given him the third degree," He raised his hand over his his head to rub it as if unsure. "I don't understand why, but I do know that Demyx wouldn't go out of his way to hurt you. He really is a nice guy regardless of what might of happened. I just don't want to see any fights between you two," he kept his tone casual and right to the point.

 

Xion barely held back tears, then raced with Aerith to the other end. Here they went. She took a deep breath, taking Aerith's hand, then raced through the portal's end.

 

Roxas merely ignored the part about Demyx and focused on more important things. What was done was done, and Demyx would never understand. He must've forgotten what it was like to be young ..heh, only Axel and Larxene were really using youth to their advantage besides him. But besides the incident with Demyx, Roxas was perfectly happy. Even more so when Axel said he wouldn't kill him ..of course it could be a lie, but it didn't bother him at the moment.

"..Thanks. And ..with me and Xion ..there's something you need to know ..she's gonna ..well she's going to .." he scratched his cheek, not certain of how to proceed.Eyes moving from the ground to Axel, he narrowed his eyes slightly. "You can keep a secret, right?"

 

Axel noticed that Roxas had avoided the mentioning of Demyx, which caused the to flurry frown a bit and wanted to straighten it out, but he wasn't going to push it any further even though it was still unsettling towards him. Maybe perhaps if saw Xion again he could ask her about it. Roxas was young and adventurous so the flurry could relate to him in that kind of way. No matter the age difference, it wouldn't bother him. He saw that Roxas seem more tense now and this is exactly what he needed to hear. It seem more serious now. "Of course I can, I give you my word," he answered truthfully and it wasn't an lie he could keep things to himself easily as not everyone knew the details of things he had pulled in the past.

 

"I mean it ..no one can know unless you put it by me...but anyway ...what would you say if I told you that ..Xion and I are going to be a whole lot closer from now on?" He asked nervously. It if took this much effort to tell his best friend, he couldn't imagine anyone else being told. Swallowing his fear, Roxas looked him dead in the eye. "She's carrying our child ..there, I said it. Now go ahead and tell me I'm an idiot for making that choice, just like Demyx would." he said, preparing for a mouthful."I love her, and it's something she's thought about for a long time ..and I was thinking of you probably being the godfather in case anything happened to me."

Aerith held onto Xion's hand, narrowing her eyes. "I'll find Cloud, you find your book, we'll meet back here, alright?" She hugged the girl tight. "I want to be able to help you with your mothering skills." she smiled, then took off, leaving the small girl behind her.

 

Axel raised his eyebrow in curiously and almost in regret that he left them alone, but how was it possible that it could happen in a short time frame and how would Roxas know so soon? To his knowledge it would take some time to know if a girl was pregnant. He sighed somewhat trying to be happy and not judge him even though he was only a teenager.His mind was otherwise cursing and screaming, but the red head did his best to be calm and collected. The flurry tried to think about a time in his life to a certain situation, but he found none. He nervously scratched his head though he was a bit shock. "Um...okay first thing first, how do you know that she is pregnant? I mean...doing it doesn't always mean that she is indeed carrying a child. It could take a few days, " He didnt' know all the details of this, but he knew that getting someone pregnant would change a life and that person would be dedicated to that one. Things like this he wish he knew someone who could tell him these things.

 

"Well, look at it this way. If she isn't, there's more time to prepare and think, but if not, I take responsibility and take care of my kid. That's all there is to it Axel ..I made my choice already." Roxas shrugged, unsure of what to say next. After all, it was too late to take it all back and think it out. What happened happened and there isn't anything he could do to change it.

"I know to you it isn't much of a bright side ..this is why I didn't want to tell anyone anyway. You can't wish us the best. You can't offer any advice. All you do is shake your heads and turn your backs ..now, is that what your doing right now?" he didn't want to misjudge Axel, but from the looks, that was what was happening currently.

 

occc: Um....Recap! *laughs nervously*

Riku sat on the bench and sighed. He looked at a night sky, and sighed again. It was really quiet. The starts twilked. some were brighter then others, and some were dull.

 

(OOC: Looks like Roxas and Xion could be parents, but it's not definate and no one knows but Roxas who told Axel. Cloud fought Sephiroth and won therefore Sephiroth became a heartless and a nobody. Gex is observing Larxene and he fell and broke his leg twice I think. Xemnas recieved Sephiroth's heart handed over by Demyx and placed it to Kingdom Hearts. Xemnas is in his room, resting, Saix is in the castle, Cloud and Demyx were at the castle and now back at Hollow Bastion for Cloud to get some of his things for security measures, Leon was fighting the heartlesss of Sephiroth and now is confronting Demyx of what happened to his friend. Aerith and Xion parted ways, Xion for a book and Aerith to find Cloud. Sora.... I'm not sure.)

Demyx watched Cloud gather his items as he sat on the couch as comfortable as one could be. He smiled thinking how peacful this place was except for the broken shards of glass from the broken window all over the ground. Reaching his feet out to touch the coffee table he rested them there, and leaned his head back on the feather pillow. Just when he thought he was going to doze out, he heard a door open and then slam followed by footsteps into the living room. Leon looked like he had a beating, as his appearance retained that. Demyx was starttled when he heard the brunette shout and accuse him of something that just was not his intention. Waving his hands where he was at, he attempted to calm Leon down. "Woah woah woah... Where did this hospitlity come from?" He exclaimed as he nearly jumped up from his seat. "I didn't do anything harmful to him?" He softened his voice for no one to hear except for those in the room. "You agreed and signed the contract did you not?" He leaned forward his boots on the ground now as he stood up and walked over to him. "I had no idea this was going to happen. I just do as I'm told," he explained trying to be innocent as a lamb.

Cloud finished packing what he needed to in one of his secured bags that had a combination to get into his equipment. He was caught off guard by Leon's sudden rage for it wasn't helping the matter. "Leon I made my choice and you did too. Now before I forget. What did you tell Sora? I want to hear every word and don't skimp on the details. I want to know if you showed him anything, whose names you discussed and what Sora asked you?" Cloud zipped up his bag, secured it with a combination code that he only knew and folded his arms, his eyes narrowing to prove to Leon that he meant business and for him not to beat around the bush.

Aerith moved quietly, her new and improved staff out and ready to use. This was going to be hard..but she had to find him. She just had to. She couldn't lose him again. And..he had a right to know about Zack and Xion.

Riku got up, and walked around for a bit before going bakc ot his hotel room. He could here the cricktes cirping, and the song birds giving their final songs before they went to sleep. He felt himself drift of to sleep. It wasn't look before everything went black.

 

The Heartless telerported behind Cloud before the attack connected. "Is that the best you can do?" the Heartless of Sephiroth said this while jumping into the air. Suddenly, he charged up Shadow Flares and sent them at Kexlaybed. Then, he waited for a reaction. If there would be one.

 

(OOC: why on earth did I find that mini-rant so amusing? *facepalm*)

Larxene shook her head at the two nobodies who seemingly popped out of nowhere, and began to walk away. "You two are too cheerful for your own damn good..." She mumbled at Amber and Gex as she marched through the blood-smeared allyway.

Once finding the end of the murky trail, she looked around with her hard, blue eyes. What was so familiar about this place? Why did her stomach twist when she caught the scent of it?
Upon further inspection, the Nymph noticed a small Bakery. Why hadn't she noticed this place before? It was so obvious. This is where she had battled cloud, and partially hurt Demyx on the first occasion. On contrast, this is also the location of where she fell for the guy.
With a slight flinch, she shook her blonde head and continued to march forward down the middle of the dead market-place. Everything was kinda different at night... All the closed stalls had an extra shade of purple to their face, with the only sound accompanying the silence being the small chirp of the odd cricket lurking about in the shrubbery lining the pathways.

Once her speed took over her limbs, Larxene was soon flitting down the street, only the partial murmurs of slurring voices greeting her from the various inns she had passed.
Several voices in paticular caught her short attention span. Was that arguing she had heard? Impossible. The residents here weren't ones to be over-violent at times.
Given a few seconds to filter the voices out, her ears pricked onto one she definatley knew.
Cloud? Here? I thought he was with Demyx. She shook her head and - very slowly - took a multiple steps in direction of the source of his voice.
Yes, that certainly was cloud. Possibly the other guy who was with him..? Damn, what's his name again? Leo? Leon?
Wether she cared to remember his name or not, she heard his voice too. He sounded angry, but so did Cloud at the same time. If only Demyx was here... He would probably be clinging to his little warrior like a koala to a damn tree.
Coincidently, there his voice arrived on que. Wow, wasn't this guy just full of such conveniencies.
I had no idea this was going to happen. The nymph heard him speak as innocent as he could.

She giggled slightly, having to place her hand over her mouth to stop herself from laughing.
I seriously hope leon will hurt him. Him and Cloud.

BIC: Aerith crept down the hallway, listening. This place was beautiful, in a slightly alien way. It would have creeped her out, if she hadn't been focused on finding Cloud. Where are you?.... she could have used Xion right then. She wondered how the girl was doing......

Xion walked into her room, making sure no one else was around. Everything seemed exactly like she had put it. She sighed with relief, then went under her bed, into a small crawlspace. Sneezing at the small dust collection, she opened a fake part of the floor and pulled out her book. It was small, square and blue. She held it tightly to her chest, then closed her eyes, focusing on finding where Demyx was. She had to talk to him.

 

Crawling from his fall, Gex followed his mistress. she seemed troubled by something, something secret. He followed her to the bakery and watched her stop. Something was very wrong. Standing up on shattered limbs, he walked over to Larxene.

"Is something troubling you?" he whispered into her ear.

 

Axel sighed and walked over to Roxas, touching him on the shoulder. He didn't want him to judge him or anything and what Roxas said was nothing he could about it. He wasn't sure of how to anyway even if he did know. "No, Roxas I'm not judging you. I was only concerned is all. My advice to you is that if she is pregant for you to make sure that she is well taken care of and has everything that she needs. That means you'll have to get a job that pays decent in order to provide for yourself, her and the baby. It's not going to be easy, but I know you can do it. Just promise me one thing. Keep her happy and safe and do whatever she asks of you without giving her any lip. This could stress her out." Axel waited for Roxas's response and stood there looking into the distance. He hated the cold, as the wind was blowing through his hair and would soon go indoors to escape it.

Leon crossed his arms, upset with how things were turning out. He didn't believe the young nobody for a second. He stomped his foot to get his frusteration out and hoped he wasn't going to break something. "Yeah I know I did, but Cloud seems worse off now and it has to do with you. Man why did ever agree to this?" He kicked the chair out from a desk and grimaced when it fell back on his leg. "I did it for Cloud, but now I'm beginning to have second thoughts." He wanted to wring the water wielder's neck, but knew he was a nobody and he didn't know what he was capable of. He wouldn't begin any fights especially in the house. He gasped when he saw the broken window and immeditely looked at Cloud after listening to his questions that were attacking him it seemed like. "You want to know what I told Sora? All right I'll tell you. What I sent you about the organization names, elements weaknesses etc through the comlink. Sora is getting suspicious Cloud about the whole thing. I haven't told him of what is forbidden because I made a promise to you and Demyx that I wouldn't. But Cloud, you realized you made things worse by defeating Sephiroth right?" He glanced at Demyx. "Can't really blame you except for your influence in my friend here, but you did return my gunblade so I guess it evens it out, but how do I know that you don't have your own special agenda? Nobodies can't be trusted is what Sora says since you guys don't have hearts, but why would you go out of your way to be nice to me? I don't understand. I just hope you're genuine and Cloud and I are not falling into a nobody's trap."

 

OOC: Finally!
Kexlaybed reacted too late, blocking only half of the attack, burning his cloak. He threw it off to reveal rusted gray armor, showing his truly weak looking form.

"So you really thought you could defeat an old man that easily? I have been alive for thousands of years. It will take nothing less than an being twice your strength to defeat me at my strongest. Even so, that was a good try at an attack. In fact, I may lose this battle. I might even try to beat you, instead of simply weakening you for the hero that meant to kill you as I have done with so many others."

With that, Kexlaybed rushed at the Heartless, sweep kicking him under the legs, making him drop his Masamune. Kexlaybed then jumped, making several strikes with his Keyblades before pushing off of a wall and landing several meters away, waiting for the Heartless Angel to retrieve his sword.

 

Cloud looked away after Leon had accidently hurt himself and thought to himself of what an idiotic action Leon had done. It wasn't until after Leon's rant that he directed his voice to him. He didn't need to feel worse and Leon wasn't helping matters either. "Leon I understand that you're frusterated, but taking it out on me doesn't help me at all. I know what I did and there is nothing I can do about it." He picked up his bag and held it by his handle placing it on the table. " Let's just move on and not dwell upon it." Easy for him to say for Cloud was brooding on it in his mind and felt like the biggest hypocrtite there ever was.

Demyx could tell that Leon's feelings were all over the place and he tried not to hestiate or back away when he was being yelled at. Maybe this was how humans expressed themselves when they were pissed off? Getting his mind away from what he was mesmerizing about he brought his focus back to Leon and Cloud. "What? You told the organization's enemy about me? Dang now he's going to know to much." He groaned and sighed. "No matter I'll make sure that he doesn't ruin anything. At least you kept your word. I can understand why you lack trusting a nobody from what Sora told you, but I'm telling you I don't have a hidden agenda. I just want to be friends. Is that so hard? And we spoke about this before so I'm not going to keep rambling on like sometimes others have told me I have a habit of doing like now actually." Demyx took a breath before saying what else he wanted to say. "Anyway Cloud is coming back with me. He had to get some of his things so if you're wondering where he is at, he will be with me In the World that Never Was in the castle." Demyx summoned a portal with his right hand, the vortex swirling about and making the house appear darker.

 

An dealer nobody appeard infront of Luxord he knew it was reporting to him on Xeol's mission. The Gambler jaw dropped when he heard the nobodies methods "really are you trying to persue me on fals reason" Luxord said to the nobodie it nodded back to him. The Gambler dismassed the lesser being and portaled to where Xemnase was then he got on his knee "my dear superior soon Xeol will be done collecting hearts in Agrabah" he said to his superior. "so is there an desired job you want me to accomplish" Luxord asked the man.
