A Life to Lead ^_^

Xion closed her eyes, slumping forward. Small but capable arms caught her, and set her down on the floor gently. "Sleep." Aerith's voice floated through. "You did a wonderful job." Xion smiled, then drifted off to sleep.

Aerith made the sleeping girl comfortable, then nodded to Zack and Cloud. "I'll be here." she murmured, watching the two leave to go to the corner. Zack had to stay in this room until it was time to leave, or he would disappear.

 

Demyx left without a trace being away from others where he could think. Disappearing back to the castle, he walked down the halls and then struck a wall with his fist so pissed off that if he had done anything wrong, it should feel pain for it. He didn't care anymore what anyone thought of him. They were to busy with thier own lives and he wouldn't bother with any of them. He would only get in the way and it was his purpose to be alone. Shaking his fist, it hurt, but not as much as his feelings. He was mentally exhausated as the verbal abuse from Roxas and the stress of dealing with everything had happened was taking its toll on his sensitive being and so he collapsed on the ground not caring if he woke up or not. He needed to get out of this Hell.

Cloud followed Zack and waited for him to speak to him. He did not know what was going on with his new friend, for his mind was only focused on Zack.

 

"Cloud....Awesome job, man. I realize it's been hard, and Aerith worries about you, but still. Awesome job." he smiled, gripping Cloud's shoulder. "Was there something you wanted to ask me?"

 

Cloud nodded not feeling he did an awesome job, but he was glad to see him. "Zack a lot has happened since I saw you. Times have been hard for myself and so now I'm killing heartless for munny just so I can get by and pay my expenses, but the catch is I'm working for Organization XIII and I'm not sure if you know who they are or not? Anyway, I made a friend through that organization who is nothing like them.

The lower ranks of nobodies were making thier way down the hall when they saw one of their leige's on the ground, out cold and not moving. Knowing he was a member of the organization, a dancer went to alert Xemnas or anyone else in the castle.

 

Zack nodded, still smiling. "You have done well. Everyone has to do what they can to survive. If he's your friend, all I ask is you stick by him." Zack paused for a second, then went on, his face sadder. "Cloud, there is something else. You know Aerith won't always be with you, right?"

 

"I will stand by him and in fact..." He looked around not knowing where he went? "Wait what did you say about Aerith?" He was concerned for her now and wanted to know everything Zack had to mention.

The dancers decided to have a search party for any available members that they could sense. One of the dancers ordered another to search the worlds for the members. They appeared out of the darkness and soon discovered, Gex and Larxene together. They were members of the organization and this was a safe bet that one of them would help. A dancer, moved towards Larxene tapping her on the shoulder and dancing about wanting to talk to her. Another did the same for Gex. The other dancers at the castle, had discovered Axel and Roxas and knew they were members of the organization so they did their best to try to tell them what had happened.

 

Zack looked away for a second, choosing his words carefully. "Aerith and Xion have seen that she will die. They don't know when, but its going to be before Xion has her baby."

 

Larxene opened her eyes, turning to look at the dancer behind her. It seemed urgent for something... anything.
"Did Demyx send you to bug us?" she asked, looking at the dancer with a speculative raise of her brow. "If he has done this in spite of ruining our moment, I will hang him from the castle walls." she spat, sniffing the air in search of the Nocturne's scent to track him down.
"Take me to him. now." She ordered in a sharp tone, summoning her kunai quite suddenly in a savage attempt to strike terror through the little worthless thing that presented itself before her. "now."

 

Gex's eyes snapped wide open. Crap! looks like the bolt the cloud was holding was set free. The only diffrence was that it wasn't striking the earth, but a puddle. Holding her shoulders, the madman tried the most insane thing he could do, try to calm Larxene down.

"Larxene, be reasonable. Just remember, WWXD.

 

" What? How is that possible? She can't die? What is going to cause her to die Zack?" he asked. He needed to know more and wanted to find out as much as he could to hopefully prevent it from happening.

The dancer whacked her in the head as it pranced about and had her follow it through the dark portal. There it led her to a swarm of nobodies surrounding one of thier own, lying on his back, his eyes shut, his chest not rising or faling and his fingers curled out with his legs stretched out. He was in need of desperate medical attention.

 

Larxene followed through the portal and out of the other end.

What met her eyes was... odd. Was that Demyx on the floor...?
Sooner than she had expected, she was by the Nocturne's side, tilting his head up with her palm, letting her other hand rest upon his stomach lightly.
"Demyx...?" She mumbled, narrowing her eyes. "Demyx, breathe." She shook his long frame lightly, swallowing back another plea building under her breath.
Looking up at one of the Dancers surrounding him, a low hiss slid through her gritted teeth.
"What...or who....has done this to him?" SHe demnded, taking a grip upon his hand tightly. "Tell me now."

 

The dancer didn't like to be grabbed, but it would do as it was told. The dancer explained to her in its dialect that only nobodies could understand. "He was in the castle and upset for what ever reason I don't know, but I didn't see him for I only felt his presence and vibes coming from him. His power level was low and the next thing I know, my leige is lying on the ground like he collapsed or something." It shrugged wishing it could be more helpful. It looked as its master not moving a muscle as he looked like a lifeless corpse laying on the ground, whose head was being supported by Larxene. "I need to find the superior. He would know what to do." The dancer mentioned.

 

"No." Larxene shook her head. "He will link it back to whatever has caused this, find Xion, ask her, blah-de-blah, then boom. Xemnas will know about the pregnancy. I'd advise you don't, okay?"
Looking back at Demyx, she leaned closer, prying one his eyelids open to examine his pupils.
"Demyx... wake up." she mumbled again, sighing as she leaned her ear to his mouth to listen for any sign of breathing. "...please..."
Please. You can't fade now. What about talking? What happened to that? We need to talk... We need to.
With one outstretched arm to her right, she let it hover for a second or so before wiggling her fingers and watching a portal open.
Looking up, the Nymph gazed at the dancers and spoke in a firm voice.
"This portal leads to my room. Take him there now, and don't chew fat along the way. If Xemnas find out, I will blast you all to dust. That isn't a threat either, it's a promise. I keep my promises, beleive me."

 

Laying on the floor of the second castle, eyes closed, Gex contemplated what was going on. Larxene was gone. The portal closed behind her. She went to either kill or talk to the man she loved or at least loved through her phantom emotions. He was alone now. Where would he get his pain? He couldn't summon those little...things any more than he could portal. Geez, he was so inadequete.

 

The dancer cringed in fear and knew she was serious by her threat. Xemnas could not know for its sake. It didn't want to be destroyed so relunctantly it picked up its master in its arms and left into the portal soon coming into Larxene's room. The dancer set Demyx on the bed to rest comfortably before leaving and returning back to her. "The deed is done. Take good care of my leige," it departed. The other dancers along with dusks were afraid of her temper too so they all left before they got destroyed.

Cloud looked down at the ground not believing what was going on? He had no idea Aerith would die and couldn't deny his feelings that were trying to come through, but he was strong and would not fall to emotions as easily. He was a logical thinker and would do everything in his power to help her and complete what she wanted him to. Little did he know that his other friend, Leon was unconscience as he had been knocked out by Axel before the red head came back with Roxas to find Xion.

 

Larxene nodded and watched the dancers leave accordingly. With a click of her fingers, the corridor closed, and out of nowhere opened another.
Said portal lead to Gex. Her little masochist.
Taking a swift step through the cool-aired corridor, the savage nymph leapt into the hallway where Gex sat and grabbed him.
With her tight grip on his coat, she let her arm spring back, like that of a catapault, and launched Gexlion through the fresh portal in her room.

With a smile of satisfaction she followed, making her way out of the portal before it had chance to close.
"Well... Now we need to wake him up." Larxene sighed, scratching her head as she looked a tthe nocturne sprawled across her sheets.

 

Gex would have loved to retort. There was only one problem however. The force of larxene's throw sent his head crashing through the wall of her room. Maybe she played baseball in the past. Either way, He was too dizzy to talk at the moment. He did try to say something, but it was muffled by the plaster and stone.

 

The dancers searched the castle for any other member that might be able to help. They were afraid of Larxene, but they also remembered that Xemnas was the top leige and he had to know what was going on. He would want to know if something happened to one of his warriors especially if it interfered with his goal. The dancer located Xemnas's presence and appeared before him speaking once again in the nobody langauge. "Sire, my leige is unconscience as he was upset with another. I didn't see this, but I felt his presence of his element was weak and he collapsed on the ground."

Demyx's body rested comfortably now on a soft bed and had no idea where he was for his mind was out of it and he still remain unconscience.

 

Zack shook his head. "You can't stop it from happening, Cloud. She's going to die. We just don't know when exactly. Just...you have to take care of Xion, okay? She's more powerful then even we could imagine." Zack frowned, shaking his fingers. "I don't have much time left. I'm surprised Xion gave me this much. She must have really wanted you to get enough time."

 

Sora fingered the Keychain that Kexlaybed had given him not too long ago. He heard and felt a gentle breeze. He could almost taste the tension floating in the air as a Crimson Jazz does, spreading its adrenaline filled curse. Or was it a blessing? Birds sang, completely unaware of the world's imminent breakdown.

"Should I trust him? He wields the Keyblade, it's true, but he bears the mark of the Organization. Then again..." He looked down towards Kexlaybed, now uncloaked and covered in rusted yellow gray armor.

"There needs to be something I can do to help." Sora decided then and there. If this ditch effort didn't work, Kexlaybed might lose. He concentrated his power on his Reflega spell, specifically the palm of his right hand. A small spherelike polyhedron formed there, glowing as its hexagonal faces reflected the light. He then threw the ball down toward Kexlaybed, hoping he'd know what, if anything, could be done with it. Finally, he attached his new chain the the Keyblade, causing a bright gold blade to sprout out of the other end in a flash of light. Sora ran off, slashing heartless and Nobodies left and right, deciding not to stop until he came to one of his friends.
