A Life to Lead ^_^

Xion trembled, then smiled, pulling him onto the bed with her. "Don't leave me alone." she whispered, closing her eyes. "It's like the dark is hunting me, it wants me." she shivered. "Please don't leave."

 

Tumbling beside her, Roxas laughed and brought an arm over her in comfort. He was there, and always would be. He was reliable, and could be counted on for anything, something few could say about Demyx."I'm here for you ..you can use my light, if you ever need it.." he whispered to her, resting his head on a pillow.

 

She nodded, closing her eyes and moving closer to him, still shaking. "Roxas...for names.....do you have any ideas?" she asked quietly, trying to keep her darkness at bay. It was always there, she had to keep fighting. Aerith told her she was strong enough.

 

"Yeah ..I've thought about it for a while now ..since Axel was a part of our group, why not name it after him, only we change the name a little?" Roxas had already worked it out of it was a boy, but if it were a girl, he'd leave it to Xion."Alex ..does that sound okay?" he questioned.

 

Axel shook his head at all of the new information he had gained and seem almost lost in his own thoughts. How was he supposed to judge Demyx? The red head had known him longer than Roxas had, but still this bitterness that Roxas had for his other friend was beginning to affect their own friendship. He had grasped every little detail that was being said directly or indirectly. Even with a few dancers had told him of Demyx's collapse. It was all too much for him and was about to say something until he realized that Roxas and Xion had left yet again. It was unsettling for him, but they would only return home. Still feeling left out the pyro had barely heard that Roxas wanted him to go find Demyx. The flurry had second thoughts over this thing, but sighed as he created a portal for himself to the Castle That Never Was. He entered it and walked towards Demyx's room hoping to find him in there, but he wasn't. "Demyx?" He walked past Larxene's room and thought that he felt some kind of energy in there.

 

Xion nodded, smiling. "Alex.....it's perfect...and if its a girl....Aerix?" she asked, turning on a light next to her. The darkness was just getting to be a little too much. She thought some more, but no more names came to her.

 

Roxas smiled back at her, glad she found the name suitable.But if things between him and Axel didn't change, he'd have second thoughts about that name. "Aerix?..I like it ..it's for Aerith, right?" he questioned her, bringing his thoughts on Aerith now.

 

Xion nodded, her eyes turning sad. "I didn't accept that she would die, though she told me how to help her. I just couldn't let her go." Xion fought back tears, clearing her throat. "How am I supposed to watch her die?"

 

Roxas was a fighter, and always attempted to stop the inevitable if it was really so wrong."..Wait, Xion ..how will she die?..and how did she say you could help?" he questioned, wanting the full story.

 

Xion shrugged. "She's going to die by someone who is taken over by the darkness, someone who hates her, and Cloud." She shivered, remembering the deathlike glare of Aerith's eyes, the way her body was angled..."It can't be stopped."

 

"Yeah..and how did she say you could help her.You mentioned that a second ago." Roxas added in, trying to make it seem as a possibility and a comforting thought.There was always a way, and this time shouldn't be any different.

 

Xion shook her head. "I can't tell anyone, not until after she dies." she murmured, shivering. "Patience will not kill."

 

An emotionless cold figure observed his surroundings watching his Berserkers attack the gang leader and then end his life. A few huge bangs into the guy's brain and Seifer just collasped. It wasn't an hard task to accomplish such an mission especially since it was from one who had no power to begin with. The blue haired nobody ghost like orbs into the dead person's shocked eyes. Much like a statue without unfeeling of remorse or anything. He felt nothing. A shiny organ had popped out of the man's chest, as a shadowly figure grew in its place. Then a inky figure had materalized as well. Waving his hand gingerly at the sky a blackish void had opened up and the demon had left with a heart in his hand making his way back towards The Castle That Never Was. For a moment he had spotted Axel walking past Larxene's room, but the older nobody just shrugged him off. He would deal with him later. "Lea, you disappoint me," He thought to himself. His priority was to find Xenmas.

He began walking around the castle and then paused at Xenmas's door and knocked softly. He didn't want to disturb his sleep, but he had what he would want. A heart.

 

Hearing a knock at his door, xemnas sat up. This was getting frusterating. First the dancer, now someone else. It wasn't something to be concerned of however. He was already rested. It was about time he monitored his troops' progress.

"Enter" commanded the superior. He didn't want to play games. Business was on his mind and nothing could change that.

 

Saix heard the command and gently pushed the door open walking stiffly in the plain room. The heart was inside the baseball cap, of the young man that had he taken his heart from. "He had a strong heart, and the outcome was a heartless and another nobody," he presented the heart to Xenmas. "Two, down, but how many more to go?" He asked.

Some of Saix's spies were walking around and had heard bits of information concerning Roxas and Xion, but had not caught what it was all about. They noticed their disappearance and decided to follow.

 

"How strong exactly Saix?"
Feet dangling over the side of his bed, tho nobody stared at his subordinate. a heart that generated a nobody was one thing, but what he needed was something far stronger. His power had to be unimaginable, at least one emotion that drove everything about them. That was what he needed.

 

Saix noticed that Xenmas wanted more information and this is exactly what he was going to tell him. He had found information in Twilight Town thanks to spies who secretly had watched the fights. They even hacked into certain resources. "As much power as Sepiroth, this guy was Leon's (Squall) Leon'sHeart's enemy or rival. A strong fighter who met his match. All of these warriors have powers, that is imaginable strong."

 

A glare flew from the leader's amber eyes at the remark.
"Leon is far weaker then the one winged angel. This, other you are telling me about doesn't sound that special. However it will do. Place it in the kingdom heart. Come back to me after you are finished."

 

Saix nodded his head in obediance. He knew that this heart was strong, but not the strongest. "I agree even Axel had trouble making Leon into an heartless or nobody, but perhap he can now. It will prove to us to see whose side he really is on," He commented and then left Xenmas's room to put the heart into the Alter of the Naught. He however passed by the red head, but stopped him this time.

Axel froze momentarily as he starred at his former one time friend. It was still hard to believe that one time they were in fact friends. "Saix?" he questioned as leaned his eyes to get a better look with something thumping in the guy's arms. "A heart? Whose is it?" He asked out of curiousity with excitement in his tone.


"Never mind that. I want to know where the hell is Roxas?" Saix coldly turned down his answer as he had noticed that the younger member had been gone for a long time and wanted a report on him. He had not known that Roxas had betrayed the organization.


Axel was silent for a short time until he finally gave him an answer to the best of his ability. It was time the double agent time to take place and he hoped he could fool the second in command. "He is busy else where, or playing with his friends," He shrugged a bit as if a bit skeptical. The red head had indeed lied, but made it believable since he knew that at times Roxas did like to hang out with Hayner, Pence and Olette even for a short time. The pyro knew this well because he in fact had witnessed it. So it was a great excuse. There was no way he could turn his best friend in.


Saix gave Axel a unexpressionless look which couldn't be read, but only turned his back on him. "You do know that illusion of friendship is tiring and will only cause you more pain in the end. Roxas is supposed to be finding us hearts," he replied as he walked away from him and towards the Alter of Naught. Once there he released the heart into the sky and watched it emerge with the heart itself.

Once that was done he portaled back towards Xenmas's room and stood by his side as if waiting for him to answer. "It is done."
