A Life to Lead ^_^

"You took longer than expected, why?"
Xemnas was now standing and fully garbed. He was about to leave his quarters and get back to work. Turning to Saix, he waited for a response.
"Puncuality is one of your positive aspects. It is part of why I trust you. So tell me, what took you?"

 

(OOC: Xenmas wanted Luxord to find some stronger hearts. Sora is fighting with a new comrade and they are killing heartless and lesser nobodies. Xion might be pregnant and Roxas doesn't want Demyx to help take of the baby. Demyx and Cloud argue with Roxas and even Xion's tries to convince Roxas, but he doesn't trust Demyx. Demyx collaspes with all of the stress on him and then ends up in Larxene's room. Demyx is still unconscious. Dancer nobodies notfifed every nobody of Demyx's collasped. Cloud talks with Zack and then taking care of Aerith. Roxas and Xion are back in their home. Saix grabs another heart and alerts Xenamas. Axel returns home and runs into Saix they talk a small bit then part ways. Xenmas wants Saix's explanation upon his tardiness. Gex is with Larxene I believe.)

Saix had nothing to hide, but was surprised that Xenmas had seem to timed his presence and how long it would take to get the heart and then back to him. The blue haired nobody always followed orders, and was not one who would ever do anything against Xenmas. "Axel stood in my path and questioned the heart. I didn't give him the answer except where Roxas whereabouts were. Axel gave me the boring old illusional friendship spool. I apologize on my tardiness, it was that red head's fault." He lowered his head.

 

Larxene shook her head at Gex, and turned back to Demyx on her bed.
He had messed the sheets up pretty bad, and he was just..
He didn't deserve his place in her room. Never mind her bed.

Raising her hand up high, she let it land forcefully upon the side of his face. The small snaps of leftover static still crackled as she took it away, her leering eyes piercing into the red mark left on his face.
"Wake up now, you idiot." she hissed, still glaring at him. "Wake up before I shock you awake."

 

Brushing past his body guard, Xemnas opened his door and began to walk to the altar.
"Stay focused on your goals saix, nothing else. Wavering causes trepidation. Trepidation leads to in action. Inaction leads to us being nothing. Isn't that what we are trying to remedy?"

 

Saix watched Xenmas leave towards the Alter of Naught and followed after him. He saw Axel again, but this time decided to ignore him. "That is very true, but we need test some nobodies to see if they are still on our side or not. We don't want traitors. What do you want me to do now? Actually maybe we should have Axel do something. He isn't doing anything. " He replied. Saix knew that they were closer to their goal and had gotten another heart, but perhaps there was something useful he could be doing, but right now he didn't know what it was.

 

"I see.." Roxas said all he could say.Everything happened for a reason, but he wasn't sure that would make Xion feel any better. Sighing silently, his eyes traveled to her stomach. He pressed a hand against it, eager to be a parent.But all good things took time, right?

"Xion ..you wouldn't go back and change this, would you?"

OOC: Might use the TT kids when the time lapse thing happens.

 

Xion, deep in her own morbid thoughts, smiled absent mindedly and put her hand over his, her eyes far away. "Hm?" she asked, coming out of her own thoughts, but just missing what he had said. "I'm sorry, my mind was on other things."

 

"I asked you ..if you regret this." he repeated himself, patting her lower stomach to let her know what he meant. She was under a lot of stress right now, and the issue with Demyx wasn't helping her at all.But he was selfish, and had problems of his own. Starting tomorrow he'd need to find a few jobs so he could save up that money in case the baby really did come like they planned.

 

Xion looked over at him, her eyes hidden in the shadows. "Why would I regret it?" she asked, plainly confused. "There are stresses that come with everything. Besides, even if I regretted it, I would never take it back." she smiled reassuringly, then closed her eyes, leaning her head back.

 

Reassured as she wanted him to be, Roxas laid back on his pillow and looked up at the ceiling.Things were dramatic and complicated already ..and he didn't want that, not at all. "Xion ..if I could do anything to make you happy, or sleep peacefully, what would it be?" he asked. It never felt like he had done enough for her ..he always wanted to outdo himself more. To be the right man for her.

 

She propped herself up on one pillow and smiled. "You're doing it. I don't sleep much anyway. Nightmares." she tapped her head with one hand. "I just don't want to be alone." she moved closer to him, suddenly cold. "Not that I"m afraid of death."

 

Upon hearing all this, Roxas looked towards her,eyes reassuring enough."You don't have anything to fear ..because I'll always be here for you.. I'll sacrifice my existence for you, Xion." he said softly, noting how closer she was now.He could feel her breath run across his bare neck, sending a warm chill down his spine.He knew he'd be the one to protect her, to care for her ..to make sure no harm ever came to her, and if it did, he'd unleash it to the one that bestowed it on her tenfold.

 

She smiled, closing her eyes. "I don't want you to die in my stead." she murmured. "Death isn't so bad. Everyone you knew is there, and its warm. Nothing hurts." she played with one of Roxas' hands, losing herself in her memories again.

 

Now he was certain that was Aerith talking, but then again she knew more than he did. That guy ..Zack. Him coming back like that ..it was amazing and just unbelievable, but it took so much out of someone to bring another back for a short time..

If Xion did pass, he wanted her to live her life to the fullest first, without any regrets or doubts, especially with him."..Aerith..still needs to teach you how to be a mom, right?"

 

(OOC: Well I'm back and some stuff has happened. There is to much character bashing in your posts Asterisk. I know it's allowed,but try not to let it happen in almost every post you put. It's redundant and we all get the picture that you hate a certain character or should I say you have Roxas hate a certain character. *rolls eyes*. That is all and no I do not want to hear any negative comments or complaints from anyone. If you have a problem with what I said, pm me about it.)

Cloud heard the mumor of Roxas's voice and he wasn't going to mess with the guy. He knew Aerith more then he did and wanted to speak to her alone anyway. He needed to set some things straight in the long run and that had to do with several issues mainly on why Aerith was going to die and how he can take care of Xion and the baby without the key blade warrior engaging in any kind of verbal or physical assault. "Aerith, he gently touched her as he carried her in his arms, "How are you feeling? Are you well enough to speak for I have so many questions I want to ask you?"

Demyx felt the tingling of an electrical surge on his face which made him stir in his sleep. He had no clue where he was for his eyes were still closed. His face began to hurt slightly like a burning pain and he moved his fingers twitching them slightly to get them to move.

 

Xion smiled. "She taught me most...she said experience would do the rest....." She looked up at him. "What are you thinking?" she asked, her voice soft.

Aerith nodded, leaning her head on his chest for a moment. "I"ll be fine, Cloud." she murmured, smiling. "I have some time left before I....leave." She knew in her heart what would happen, but she didn't need Cloud to know. Xion had seen herself alone, sometimes with Cloud or Tifa, but Aerith would die alone. She wouldn't let Cloud or any of her friends watch something like that.

 

Experience ..something he needed. Even if he didn't know all the proper methods of being a dad, he'd know enough to teach his child right from wrong.He wanted to teach it everything he could.

Glanced at his hand for a moment, his eyes slowly traveled up to Xion once more."What it'll be like ..Nobodies never had kids before..I hope nothing bad happens if you give birth.." he muttered softly.

 

"That's just it. How can you die like you say you are and how can I prevent that? Aerith there is always a way and I will have another regret if there was a way I could have saved you and found that after you departed. You do want that to happen? No of course not, so tell me what can I do to help you and don't hide the truth from me." Cloud walked with her towards the house, took his keys from his pocket, unlocked the door and kicked the door open with his foot. He closed the door with his foot as it ended with a slam and placed her on the couch. He knew it was late, as it was now past 10 pm.

Demyx moved his body slightly, his eyes coming to focus at what had happened. Last he remembered he had fallen on the ground and had this wonderful dream of what could be the future. Now realizing he was awake, the eyes he saw were Larxene's and this made him afraid and curious what had happened after he collapsed?

 

Axel got bored with walking around the room and decided to go with Roxas's wish to go find Demyx. He knew that the two needed to be alone. The little chat the pyro had with Saix got him no where, but now suspicion was on the Lunar's mind and the red head had to make sure they never found Roxas. This would be hard if anything. Axel would never betray his friends he wasn't that kind of nobody, no matter how mad they made him. Roxas's explanation on why he didn't like Demyx didn't make sense to him considering it seem more like a personal grudge, over a battle operation. Axel would of done the same and got both of the two younger members out of there if he felt they were in danger. Sure he could try to drive some sense into his best friend, but it wouldn't do any good considering sturborness ran on alot of different levels. The fire dancer didn't have the time or energy to do this, and knew that his other friend was the one who needed attention right now. That is if he could find him? He tried his room one more time, and then sighed as he started calling his name again. "Demyx? Where are you?"

 

Xion hummed a soft song gently, hugging him. "It'll be fine." she murmured. "Me and the baby will both be fine." she said with assurance. Her eyes shined in the dark, making her face stand out.

Aerith shook her head. "It has to happen, Cloud. I'm sorry....but...I can visit you more often then Zack can." she whispered, looking up at him. "You can't stop this. No one can."
