"I'm thinking that's her choice, tall, blond and stupid." Roxas muttered calmly, not caring about the height difference in the slightest.No wonder kids didn't want to grow up.And Demyx tried warning him about how 'powerful' he is or whatever.So what?His tired eyes going to the comlink, Roxas yawned. "Demyx, your the sensitive one in the group.Pretty much anyone can be powerful to you ..you use it pretty frequently." he looked back up at Cloud, wanting Xion and Aerith to see just how tough this Cloud guy was."And you assume, like I thought..I care about Aerith enough to let her go.But go ahead Cloud, be a big strong man and beat up a fifteen year old kid in front of the one your trying to save, because it'll definitely help. I hope Zack's watching this too" he was still holding on to Xion from behind, but if Cloud wanted to get so hostile he'd move.

And the funny part was, Demyx thought he was strong enough to stop him ..hm, guess it would be time to bring the Oblivion and Oathkeeper out once more if he had to.

 

What a stupid thing to ask. Demyx shook his head not believing he heard such a comment. "You are Axel, but Cloud knows what he is doing. Roxas is accepting that Aerith is going to die, and Cloud refuses to believe it for he sees no reason how she could. He says there is always a way to prevent something from happening if you know how and I happen to agree with him on that. You can't just accept things without putting up a fight or trying to do everthing in your power to stop it from happening if you can? Everyone would just be quitters then." He answered Axel hoping he would understand. "Roxas, I can't help the way I am just like you can't help your stubborness. We just have to learn to get along, but if you fight Cloud you will lose for I've seen him in battle. He beat Larxene and she is the quickest member we have. He has more years of fighting experience than you and it's a battle you can't win. For crying outloud Roxas, he defeated that guy what was his name again. Oh Sephiroth so you think you can stand a chance against him? Just back down and don't do anything that you're going to regret. For once think of someone besides your pride. Think of Xion if anything. She wouldn't want you to fight Cloud and either would Aerith. Cloud is more then what meets the eye Roxas." Demyx tried to explain doubting that he would listen to him anyway, but it was worth a shot.

Cloud wasn't a fool. He still had control over his sences even though the darkness was getting more unbearable and was trying to control him. He wouldn't let it though. Roxas had not attacked him, and Cloud wouldn't arm himself unless he was attacked first. "You would be wise to listen to the one you hate with your guts which I know you don't, but you can rest easy for I'm not going to fight a boy who doesn't know when to shut his mouth. If you want to fight me then we'll spar later, but for now my objective is Aerith and keeping her alive as long as possible. This isn't selfish for she doesn't want to die either and I'm doing what is best for her. If you have a mindset like your own Roxas always being negative and assuming she will die then that is what will happen. You and I do have one thing in common. We both care about the ones we have feelings towards, but unlike you I'm not going to stand around and wait for it happen and have regrets of what I should have done. You do as you wish with Xion; however, don't you even attempt to take Aerith away from me." While still holding her, he took a few steps back and was waiting to see what Roxas would do next.

 

Axel sighed as he felt like he was getting an headache though he appreaciated the words that Demyx said about him being more important than Cloud. "Demyx, it is true sometimes you can prevent things from happening, but often times you can't. If the future is set in motion you can't change it or alter it then bad things could happen. I know because I have been there," he paused for a moment and then continued. "Xion has a very special ablity and she can't change of what happens. The best thing to do is accept some things even if it hurts so much," He replied walking over to him and laying a hand on his shoulder as if in comfort. "Roxas, is doing what he feels is right, if there is a fight I will stop it, but only if Cloud inteferes. It is like the light needs to accept the darkness. It is one with it. This is what Cloud needs to accept as he is slowly turning dark while he denies or realizes or not."

 

Oh christ.
Larxene shook her head, sighing as she massaged her temples lightly. How obscure. Roxas was acting... Not himself, while Xion was pregnant. What the hell was all that about? Was that even possible?
Wiping the spinning questions from her mind, she made a mental summary of the full situation:
Roxas was accepting the soon-to-be death of Aerith. Also being cocky. hmm.
Cloud was in denial, like the bafoon he is. He was going to kick Roxas' ass...
Demyx got his dancers to drag Leon here, in my room. My room.
Xemnas is oblivious to this whole situation, as is Saix, and when they do find out, we are in some deep crap.
Well, isn't this just lovely.

"Where is Cloud and Roxas?" Larxene asked, raising a speculative eyebrow at the water and fire wielders. "Personally, if they do fight, I would feel obliged to watch such an event." she sniffed, sitting herself on her bed and crossing her legs. "It's obvious that the pain that Cloud feels will be portrayed through his anger and aggression. I wouldn't be surprised if he lashed out on him, personally. Although, I don't like the thought of the big blond idiot hitting a fifteen-year-old kid. It just doesn't seem right..."
Now she was slightly confused. Would the Nymph enjoy spectating such a display? Or would she feel the need to intervene somehow?
On the other hand, maybe they wouldn't fight afterall.
Laying back slightly so her had was on the messed up covers - thanks to Demyx. Idiot. - she gently closed her eyes.
"It seems to me that we have some drama on our hands. And when he wakes up..." Larxene waved her fingers in Leon's direction. "We'll have even more drama to contend with."

 

Xion looked up at Cloud, then Aerith, tilting her head. Her blue eyes met green for a second, and she nodded, barely perceptible. "Cloud." She spoke out, trying to appear stronger. Aerith needed her. "Cloud....There isn't a way to save her. I would never want to hurt her, but you know people can go insane from darkness. Just as Sephiroth did." She tensed, then grabbed his wrist, her fingers touching his skin. "Watch." she commanded, her voice softer, as her eyes stared out into space. They zoomed through galaxies and stars to land at the rift in Hollow Bastion, where Cloud fought desperately with heartless, surrounded by friends. They were all there, trying to keep the tide back. Suddenly Xion, the future Xion, cried out, A heartless stabbing her shoulder. Aerith ran to help, but was overcome by Heartless. The vision changed, Xion's eyesight blurring till they were at Aerith's house. Someone knocked on the door, and when she opened it, Cloud ran her through, his eyes burning with darkness. Xion shuddered, then pulled herself out of it, wobbling slightly. "That's what it's like." she whispered. "It changes constantly."

 

"Sorry Demyx, I'm not like you ..I don't care how strong or tough he is or how much you make him seem that way because I'm not a coward or a weakling.The fact of the matter is, your underestimating me because I'm young.That's your next mistake, and this brings on another reason why I hate you ..good job." Roxas spoke with sarcasm, finding this whole argument won. Unfortunately tweedle dee and tweedle dumb couldn't accept anything."And no offense to Larxene, but she cried from a punch in the chest ..and your saying this guy is beating up on women now?"

These grown men were likely inbred idiots.All this arguing and cries for attention were really starting to make him lose his carefree, friendly attitude.He had enough of it.

"Yeah Cloud ..I personally won't fight a man who can't accept the fact that he's wrong.I'm saying she's going to die because they've seen it, you moron. I'm not assuming anything.And this is Aerith's problem now ..seeing as her friend is a corrupt idiot.Go ahead Cloud, you imprison her for the rest of her life and it won't change a thing, but you and Demyx will both probably ignore this because I'm right."

 

"And with you being an insensitive little pubescent twerp, you fail to feel any empathy at all in a female being punched in the chest. I suppose if you were punched in the same place where I punched Demyx, then you might feel the slightest bit of reason as to why it hurt to an extent where I felt like I was going to vomit." Larxene answered him coldly. Now, her 'feelings' had changed. That little blond brat can get crushed to death for all she cared.
Indeed, a moment of weakness had thrown her, but was there a moment in this situation where the topic needed to arise? No, there wasn't.
And so, the temptation to tell Xemnas about the pregnancy, the betrayal, became harder to resist.

Very hard.

 

"Funny Larxene, because I was the one who didn't laugh at you, or take a side. I actually tried stopping them from picking on you ..you have a great way of saying thanks." He responded coldly to the little comlink far off. Now it seemed to always be that time of the month with that girl.He didn't understand anything he did wrong.Heck, its not like he knew how getting punched in the chest felt for a girl.But now he does, even if it was from a rude girl.Pfft, she had some nerve calling him a brat, and he had half a mind to make fun of her crying earlier too.

But no, he'd be better than that and not take the path of idiocy and cruel jokes like most of these grown adults were doing.Cloud was refusing to take anyones options but his own.Demyx was busy kissing his rump in the matter and insisting no one can win the fight with Cloud, which was odd seeing as he was the weakest in the group, minus Zexion maybe.And he didn't know what Larxene's problem was anyway.So you got hit in the chest and someone mentioned it, big deal.

 

Xion wobbled some more, then leaned against the nearest surface, the wall. She didn't realize Larxene was there, but the fact that she was made her nervous. Wide blue eyes stared at the other female nobody, trying to calculate what she would do. The pictures zoomed around her. She kept changing her mind about what to do, tell or kill or not.

 

"Yeah you're right Axel. It's just not fair, but it's life," he answered his friend. "I just hope I know what I'm doing," he cringed when he heard another arguement take place. Demyx slapped his forehead, not knowing if is was helping or making things worse? He didn't want to upset Roxas to the point he wanted him gone, but he wasn't so sure about a lot of things. In the back of his mind he was concerned if Saix or Xemnas ever found out the whole thing and then he that would just make the whole situation worse. Putting that aside for right now, he sighed and rubbed his forehead. Listening to the whole conversation take place between Roxas and Larxene was giving him a headache. "Roxas I think we all just need some sleep. We say things we don't mean and if I did anything to offend you in anyway I'm sorry. I can't help myself at times," he said through the comlink. He couldn't hate Roxas for being upset for he tried to imagine him in his own boots and thought about what the guy was going through. No wonder he had left the organization. He didn't like being put down and wanted his own life. Demyx was just to scared to do the same, always fearing his survival would be at stake if he did.

Cloud had seen the visons that Xion presented and inside he was scared that this would happen. He didn't want to believe it and wanted to stop it from happening, but in his heart he knew it would and it would just take time before it did. Arguing with Roxas wasn't worth it anymore. Aerith was the one that mattered in the time. He needed to spend as much as time possible with her before she left, but that meant not keeping her to himself either. Xion still needed her and he had to let go. "I... *sighs* I.... can't believe this is happening, but if it's true fighting is not going to solve anything and either is keeping her to myself." He sat down on the couch feeling a wave of fatigue hit him. Xion had made him see the truth and he did his best not to show any sorrow or pain even through it was clear in his eyes.

 

Larxene caught eyes with Xion, and locked them there. That thing... was pregnant. She had a child in her stomach... or whatever. It was inside her anyways, and it was taking a vast amount of the food she consumed, the liquids she processed and the air she took in...
It was sickening.
Soon, the Nymph's eyes moved down to her stomach, and she swallowed.
Somehow, the though of an existence in another being frightened her slightly..
"What are you gonna call it?" She blurted, looking at Xion in her eyes again.
...Where did that come from?

 

OOC: Actually, Kexlaybed is fighting against Sephiroth's Heartless, and Sora sent him a small ball made with a Reflega Spell. Sora then attached the Keychain that Kexlaybed gave him onto his Keyblade, giving it a second blade. He then ran off, killing Heartless and Nobodies along the way.

Sora continued running, and running. A Dusk jumped at him, beginning its journey to the void. A Shadow had the misfortune to rise up, out of the ground in Sora's path, inevitably disappearing, leaving behind only a naked heart. A Darkside rose up in his path. Sora jumped and slashed its head, knocking it out so someone else could finish it off. Finally, he noticed, out of the corner of his eye, a blur that sort of looked like Leon, prompting him to stop so he could find out if he was in need of help.

"What's the situation?"

 

Aerith gently sat down next to him, smiling her smile. "Cloud...We do have time....And I'll try and stay here as long as I can. I promise. Just....You have to let me go." she tilted his head, looking at his blue eyes. "You can do it."

Xion was confused, but she smiled hesitantly. "We decided on Alex or Aerix. Depending on whether its a boy or a girl." she explained, her voice quiet. She hesitated, clenching her hands. "I wish I could control this." she murmured, almost admitting her fear.

 

Glad that Cloud, Demyx and Larxene stood down, Roxas took a sigh of relief, glad that the arguing was finally over.Cloud finally understood, and Larxene took sudden interest in the baby.But it really irked him that when he was right, people tended to ignore him, Larxene being an example of that.But, ah well, it was done with, and he could finally relax.He took his focus to Xion and walked over to her, tapping her shoulder. "Ready to sleep now..?"

A figure was pressed against the outside of the home all the commotion was coming from, head only visible to the trained eye as a glimpse of red hair and an eye could be made out. "..So this is what all the yelling and screaming was about.."he muttered under his breath, eyes catching Cloud and Aerith.He had no idea this was where they stayed. Rufus would want to know about them being in this town, just in case they needed Cloud for anything in the future.He was prepared to run off until Larxene caught his eyes. "Elena?..no, the shape is different..especially her--" he caught himself, realizing he was saying that louder than he should've.Instinctively he ducked and covered his mouth in case anyone heard him.Even if he was caught, he still had his intel ..but who were the kids?

"Cloud doing a babysitting service now?" he wondered to himself silently.

OOC: Don't sense ..unless your a pissed off Larxene xD ..but really, no sensing or anything please..comedy relief ftw.

 

Larxene turned, her sharp azure eyes catching a small blurr cast down from the window. She sighed. What was with this castle and drama? It was getting rather pathetic, and unbearable to say the least. Roll on the night where a mission comes forth, so she can get her ass outta this place.
With another sigh, the Nymph took an exhasperated step towards the window - or what looked like a step, which in fact, was several, her feet becoming too much of a blurr to actually look like she had ran to the tatty frame a few meters away from where she previously stood.
Peering from the window, she examined the scenery outside.
What was that?

 

..Don't move..don't breath..don't even think.. Thought Reno as he stayed hidden below the window, where Larxene was now hovering over.She merely had to catch a glimpse of his red hair to figure out that what she saw wasn't her imagination.Swallowing nervously, he risked a slow..slow glance upward, catching sight of her. She had Elena's look, but not everything else..

O_O...

Definitely not everything else. Come on..come on..get back inside.. he thought, narrowing his eyes at her. ...Is it just me or does her chest sorta look like two Rude's heads from this range.. he held back a laugh at the thought and gently covered his mouth, snickering to himself.

 

Xion turned back to Roxas and smiled, leaning against him for a brief moment. "Sure." she murmured, taking his hand, and looking back just once at Aerith and Cloud. She hoped she hadn't hurt him too much by her visions. They had almost driven her insane, though she was used to them. She wondered how it felt to someone who didn't know.

 

Finally, they could rest.Holding Xion's hand tightly and watching Larxene take care of anything else outside, Roxas escorted Xion back to the room they shared.Shutting the door behind them, he immediately went over to the bed and fell down face first, glad he could relax now.Soon enough, he was drifting to sleep.

 

Xion put her hand over her mouth, muffling a giggle, then went to lie down next to him. She curled up on her side, her eyes slowly drifting shut. Everything was so cold, why was it so cold? She shivered, and reached a hand out, but felt nothing. Sitting bolt upright, she sighed. It was just her imagination. Again.

 

Larxene sighed, and looked back into the castle. It was thick with tension in there, and the atmosphere was something that could make her snap and seriously injure someone.
The night outside was humid, with a light breeze enlighting the air that the Nymph inhaled. How lovely this evening was, indeed.

Shuffling herself onto the ledge of the open window, Larxene gazed at the star filled sky. "Take me away from this place, please." She whispered, closing her eyes. Her senses caught movement, then sight of Gex in the wall.
Idiot.
With a click of her fingers, she sent a small strike of lightening to the structure surrounding his head, hopefully setting him loose.
And again, she went back to looking at the sky.
