A New World

Alaric shoved Sigma back again and swung his keyblade up, knocking him into the air. Alaric jumped up after him as the two continued their duel in the air for several moments before landing back on the ground...on the metal bridge. Less fighting room... He opened his mouth to say something but immediately stopped himself, blocking a wind blade from Sigma. "Kaori are you watching? Maybe you might learn something...but I'm sure you already know enough from what Sora and Riku taught you." He said. "So, Sigma. What's that stuff we're standing over." Alaric said, pointing out the blueish liquid a few hundred feet beneath them.

"It's what is at the core of all worlds I think. Very special properties...it can really mess with someone's body if there is any contact." Sigma answered as he ran at Alaric, teleported behind him and kicked him on the ground.

Alaric flipped back up and shook his head, feeling weak again. While he was distracted Sigma stabbed him in the shoulder. "Sometimes I wonder...why I can survive this." Alaric muttered as he jumped back, pulling himself off the sword as the wound started closing.

"How many times must I tell you? We aren't human! As you say, we are monsters."

 

Alaric took a step back and looked over the ledge. Sigma said that contact can mess with your body... "If we're monsters...what would you think would happen if I threw you over the ledge?"

"We'll find out once I throw you over." Sigma answered, giving a low horizontal slash sending out another wind blade which cut off the rails of the bridge.

We'll see about that. Alaric crouched down slowly then sprung back up, jumping up into the air and brought his keyblade right down on Sigma's already raised sword causing the bridge to sway slightly.

 

This battle isn't going well...he's lasting too long. Time for a change in plan. I'll make him give himself up. Sigma teleported behind Kaori and placed his sword at her neck. "You know the deal Alaric. I'll kill her if you don't put that keyblade down. Don't summon it back."
That's the oldest trick in the book....too bad it always works. Alaric threw his keyblade at Sigma's feet. "Alright. I give up. Not like I know what I'm fighting for anyways."

 

OOC: *is thinking of a title for my new RP* Rawr...<_<

BIC: Alaric stepped back and sighed. "I wonder if keyblades can be used to find each other." He said under his breath.

"Okay, Alaric. It's your time to die. Then she's next."

Can't let that happen. Oh...damn it. I know what I have to do...at least dying might be fun... "Come and get me Sigma." There has to be another way...No, fighting back would just make him go after Kaori and kill her. I have to take him out in one move... Alaric shifted his eyes to the liquid beneath the bridge wondering if it would be enough to kill Sigma. "Come here so you can kill me..." He said.

 

OOC: Sorry for being annoying and bringing stuff up like this but...how does, "The Door to Kingdom Hearts" sound? Stupid, unoriginal but simple...<_<

BIC: Sigma walked slowly towards Alaric, leaving Kaori to whatever she was thinking at the moment. "How does it feel to have only one other witness your death? Does it make you feel unimportant?"

"A little...but not like I did anything other than save Kaori when she was first attacked...That's something, right?" Alaric responded, taking another step back. Just a little longer...then I'll throw him in...maybe I might not need to throw myself in as well. "I'm sorry Kaori..."

 

"I might...have to leave you alone here." He said before tackling Sigma with all his strength and threw him off the bridge. "Or not..."

Sigma didn't have any time to teleport, caught off guard by Alaric's sudden action. He did however react by sending another wind blade at the bridge causing it to collapse.

"Damn it!" Alaric turned to run off the bridge but didn't make it. Right before he fell after Sigma he said, "That necklace can probably call the others somehow." He soon vanished, sinking in the glowing blue liquid right after Sigma.

Where am I? I feel...funny...Did Sigma die? I hope he did...but am I dead? I thought I would've lived through that...Maybe I deserved to die.I am in fact, nothing but a monster...I just wonder where I am now...where do monsters go when they die?

 

How'd I let my guard down like that so easily? I should've known Alaric would've done something like this...now I'm dead because of it...at least I think I'm dead.

What now? I can't see anything...I hope Kaori was able to get out alright.

 

I still can't believe I died like that! Can't I do anything?! What am I fighting for...? I still haven't answered that...I guess it was to protect Kaori but...I might be too selfish to have that as my reason. Some keyblade master I am.
