A Scattered Dream

"If you want I'll go back for her," he offered.

 

Axel stopped himself from going into the portal. "You can't face them all on your own like that. What are you trying to do? Be a hero. If they catch you then they will have you rejoin with Kairi." He mentioned picking her up and heading to the portal with her.

 

Xion's face registered surprise, then she smiled slightly. "Just cuz I'm smaller then you," she began.

 

Axel shook his head. "It isn't size, it is the quanitity that they have also Cloud with him," Axel motioned as he pulled Xion into the portal with him. "Xion I promised to keep you safe as well." He brought him back to Roxas and Demyx and closed the open portal.

 

Demyx saw Axel bring Xion through. "Axel what are we going to do about the boss? Do you think he knows that we fooled him or do you think that he bought our story?"

 

"Would anyone like to join my battle or are you going to continue to whisper about things you shouldn't be doing?" Xemnas said to the nobodies.

"What's wrong? Can't keep your organization organized?"

 

"Yikes!" he wasn't expecting Xemnas to be right there after they tried to ditch him. "Uh yeah boss what ever you say," he wanted to disappear off the face of the planet for this kind of act he was protraying. "So are you still fighting Sora?" he grinned sheepishly.

 

"I left enough nobodies for Sora to take him about 2 hours to take out all of them."

 

Axel looked at the others and then back at Xenmas. "You want us to fight Sora, is that correct. "Superior can't we ever take a break?" He didn't want Roxas to fight if he didn't have to do so. "Roxas, do you still want to fight?" He glared at Sora. "Shut up!"

 

Xion looked down. "yeah...." she closed her eyes, thinking.

Xion looked up. "You........" she couldn't find a bad enough word. "Why can't you die!?"

 

Demyx placed his finger to his mouth. "You sure about that? What about the other guy? What is his name again? I think it is Cloud? He looks like a better fighter than Sora," Demyx asked with curiousity.

 

Roxas was so confused at the moment. There was this going on, and that going on. He sighed out, summoning his keyblade. He was going to fight.

 

Demyx was starrtled by Roxas summoning his keyblade. "Roxas no. What are you doing?" He took him by the hand and talked to him around the corner. "You're going to ruin the plan if you fight. You want the boss to still think you are with him on this. That is what Xion is doing too, but now she is blowing it." He ran back over to where she was at and had her go by Roxas. "Remember the plan? Don't say things like that to the boss? We want him to think that you're still with him on this so we can fool him ok?" he said softly to her.

 

"I can't help it! I hate him!" Xion quieted down. "I'm sorry....I don't know how much longer I can pretend. I hate lying."

 

Axel was waiting for Xenmas to answer him. He watched Xion carefully. "Come on, I just found Roxas. It is not fair." He turned to Demyx. "Looks like it, but is one of Sora's comrades." He looks at Roxas. "You don't have to fight if you don't want to."

 

Roxas clentched his keyblade, not sure what to make of all of this. Was he fighting? Or not... What were they fighting for? And why? This is just confusing as DiZ's world, he thought to himself.

 

Xion hugged Roxas tightly, feeling his confusion. "Its okay." she murmured. "Can we just.......run away?" she asked, looking up at Demyx and Axel.

 

Xemnas smiled. "Looks like quite alot is happening very quick."

Sora continued to fight off nobodies. "Ugh, c'mon. Give me a break!"

 

"I'm so confused here. We have Sora fighting nobodies, Xion telling me one thing and... " his head began to pound. "Ow!"

 

Axel walked over to Xenmas once again. "Can't we just have a break? You know for once in our existance." He asked trying to think of something else to say, but couldn't think of it for the minute.
