A Scattered Dream

(OOC: GREE06, fire mage would like to join as Axel.)

"What do you mean it doesn't matter? Your safety is what concerns me right now," he was feeling light headed as his world began to spin.

 

OOC: K, I'll add fire mage to our RP thread.

 

Xion shook her head. "I want to stay with Demyx." She noticed he was looking even paler. "Demyx, stay with me, okay?"

 

"If you stay here the keybladers will kill you. We an heal the both of you once we get to the castle."

 

"Sora wouldn't hurt me...." she whispered, but doubt touched her voice. Demyx was leaning more heavily on her, and she couldn't stay up for much longer. "Oh, Demyx." she whispered. "What should we do?......"

 

"Can you be so sure? Just look. He kills our fellow nobodies. He sees us as nothing more than fiends, beasts, animals." Xemnas stared down at Xion and Demyx.

 

Demyx shook his head and touched his forehead not feeling well, but he had to be strong. "I don't know?" he softly answered. "We have to do something, but I don't know if I could stand up to the boss since he'll kill me if I tried," he looked at her in the eyes. "Man I hate this."

 

Xion felt unconsciousness start to creep up on her. Stay awake for Demyx she thought, trying to stay standing up. "I don't think I can do this.." she whispered, Demyx being the last thing she saw before she blacked out.

 

Appearing from a void, the flurry of dancing flames emerged from the darkness and looked at the situation. "Well well what is going on here?" he noticed Demyx, Xion, and Xemnas. "You want me to take care of this?"

 

Xemnas looked at them. "You can stop pretending. We all know none of us can truely feel."

 

"Xion!" Demyx hollered out her name picking her up in his arms. "Xion please wake up," he shook her softly and sprayed her a bit with some of his water. "Uh no Axel! Hey..." he trailed off being intimidated by him.

 

"Demyx, why has Xion fainted in your arms? Did you do anything to her?" he accused him narrowing his eyes.

 

"Axel. Would you be so kind to take Demyx and Xion to the castle and get them healed up. I'll make sure Sora doesn't follow."

 

Xion heard voices, felt faces flash before her eyes. Her head whirled as she tried to form words with her mouth. She felt someone holding her, and she felt...safe. If she could have felt anything. Apparently they couldn't feel. She heard voices around her, saying her name.

 

"Sure thing. This will be a snap," he walked over to the melodious nocturne and revealed his chakrams. "Well? Are you going to come or do I have to make you?" he spread his stance in a fighting pose.

 

Demyx backed away once he saw the sharp blades and his superior ready to attack him if he refused. Axel was an intense fighter, one of the best Xemnas had so he had no choice, but to to yeild. Looking at the dangerous emerald eyes of the fire wielder and the glowing orange orbs of Xemnas, he held Xion close to him and stepped forward. "I don't want her or myself to get hurt especially by you Axel." He knew he was a weak fighter compared to the eighth member.

 

"Good. I knew you would cooperate." With a wave of his wrist, he spread his right fingers out revealing the corriders of darkness. "Come now, before I change my mind and drag you back myself."

 

Xion murmured, trying to talk. She had never felt so drained. "Demyx....run..." she whispered, struggling to open her eyes. Someone familiar, with red hair, was standing close by....."Axel?" she whispered, closing her eyes and opening them again. She felt like she had lost her voice.

 

"Keep them safe and under control Axel. I'm counting on you."

 

"Boss?" I... He was so confused, but he couldn't run knowing Axel would hunt him down like prey and capture him and Xion. He looked to the right thinking of his options. No, Xion had to be safe even if it meant risking himself in the proces. Swallowing, he stepped back and fled running as fast as he could keeping Xion close to him in his arms like a baby.
