A Scattered Dream

'What? What have I done?' Riku tried to look inccent but failed, and smirked.

 

Xion laughed, shoving him slightly. Don't worry, I won't endanger my life, so on and so forth. she grinned.

 

Riku chuckled slightly, and shoved back lightly.

 

Xion almost toppeled over, then grabbed Riku's foot,, tripping him.

 

Axel looked at Demyx and just sighed. "Demyx, just becareful I wouldn't want you to get hurt, but Xion is just being criticized by Larxene because she is jealous that I spent more time with the younger memeber than her." He was glad that his chakrams had struck Larxene and felt that she deserved it for the hell she was putting his friend through. He still had Xion in his grasp thought he felt that she was so quiet as if concentrating on something. "Larxene is hidng something and I am going to find out what it is. So keep an eye on things, this is really important and I am not going to be left in the dark." He portalled himself with one hand (since he was holding Xion in the other) to where Larxene was at. "Now, enough playing games tell me what this is all about or I am going to have to hurt until you spill the beans." His eyes cold as he glared at her.

 

Larxene's back was to him, her shoulders tense. "Save your breath." she said coldly, turning around. Her eyes glowed with anger. "You wouldn't dare try to fight me with the girl here." She bowed mockingly to him. Then she glanced at Xion, her eyes thoughtful. "You might want to keep a better eye on her. You don't want to lose her ahead of schedule." Larxene smirked, staying tense. "You could torture me till the end of time, and I still wouldn't tell you. You'll find out soon enough." Pain flashed through her eyes. She hid it, then went through another portal, her eyes watchful.

 

Demyx feeling exasperated knew those two were like water and oil. They always seemed to fight. "Ok now we're not getting anywhere again," he watched the boss leave wondering where he was going. Portaling after Axel he went after her once he saw the sad look in Larxene's eyes before she left once again. "Take care of Xion. I'm going to see what Larxene means by everything she said," he created his own dark portal and left after her. "Hey Larxene wait up," he ran through the corridors of darkness after her. "I just want to talk to you."

 

She looked over at him. "What do you want to talk about?" she asked, her emotions hidden. It didn't pay to pretend to feel sad.

 

"Why were you acting like that? That's normally not like you. Usually you're the get out of my face type. What are you not telling me Larxy?" He tried to make her smile as he looked at her eye. "You need to get that cleaned up or it will get infected."

 

Larxene smiled a little. "Larxy?" she pulled away from him. "No one cares. I'll be fine."

 

"I do," he touched the side of her face and cleaned it with a spurt of his own water. "Look don't be that way. What Axel did was wrong. No one should ever be sliced in the face with a weapon unless it's the enemy."

 

Larxene held still, despite the stinging. "No, I deserved it. But he can't know. He can't save her anyway."

He made sure the cut was clean before taking her hand. "Why do you say that? I want to help you, but you have to trust me. I'm not like the other members who inflict pain all the time."

BIC: Larxene smiled a little, holding his hand gently. "I do trust you. But what I have to say doesn't matter. We need to get Kingdom Hearts open."

 

He squeezed her hand gentely. "I know, but I hate to see others get hurt. What do you mean about getting Kingdom Hearts open?" He paused wating for her to speak. "Did the boss say anything about this?

 

"He wants it too. When we get it open, we will be whole. More powerful. We will never fade." She smiled, looking off into the darkness. "Safe."

 

Demyx was happy by what she said, but hesitated by what she said. "Oh? But will we remain the same except we'll have hearts and will we still have our powers? I don't ever want to give up losing my sitar," he said sadly.

 

Larxene smiled, then kissed him on the cheek. "No, you won't lose your sitar." she giggled.

 

He touched his cheek in awe not expecting a kiss from her. He was speechless and it seemed that there was more to Larxene then met the eye. "Do you want to go somewhere and get something to eat so we can get to know each other more?" He grinned.

 

Larxene hesitated, then smiled, nodded. "Sounds good." she said, smiling.
