A shattered realm

"An accident?" Shiarra said curiously.

 

Sessamaru began walking away, trying not to speak of his past. It was of no importance.

 

Rei followed him and put her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, i didnt mean to oppose."

 

Sylis looked across the lake he looked at the dry and dead land

Sylis:That place fells strange

 

Sessamaru gave her an acknowledging look through his cowl. "It is of no importance... Where do you live, young one?" He asked, feeling a cold, dead presense.

 

Sylis:Well guess I cannot cross

 

Shiarra looked over to the right. "First house on the right. But, I don't go home much..."

 

"How so?" He asked gently, his eyes glowing a bright green under the darkness of his cowl.

 

"You mean you don't know? Ever sence I was five..." she stopped, trying to find the right words. Her dark red fox ears went back and she looked sad. Her tail slumped. " People hated me...just because of...." she pointed to her fox ears and tail. "And so, untill now, i couldn't leave the house. Seriously, you are the first person to talk to me in years." She looked happier, and she gave a great big smile. "Thank you for not hating me!" She said. She shrugged. "So... what about you? You live in that tree?"

 

"Making camp. This one is a wanderer... And he truly doesn't wish for anyone to suffer the same fate as him..." He replied. He tassled her hair, smiling under the darkness of his hood.

 

Shiarra smiled. "I like you." she said. "Youre my first ever friend." she said, giving him a toothy smile.

 

Sessamaru chuckled "And you are his first friend in this realm..." He replied, his voice warmer and kinder. He only had one friend in his past... A woman... His fiance... With a wave of anger, he shoved the thoughts into the back of his mind, his face covered with cold sweat. He was glad to be wearing the cowl.

 

"You planning to go somewhere?" Shiarra aked him.

 

"To read more lore and to keep many from dying... This one has a debt to repay... This one seeks redemption..." He whispered. He released a hacking cough, the blood flooding his mask. With a sudden movement, he removed the hood and the mask he wore upon his lower face, releasing more blood upon the ground as he collapsed, coughing a sickening cough. More blood seem to flood the ground.

 

Shiarra's eyes widened. "You need help!" she grabed her ears and jumped up and down, trying to figure out what to do. "Oh, oh! A doctor, thats right!" She said. "I can run really fast, and i can be back with him quickly!" She looked at him, "you need a doctor, right?" with out waiting for an answer, she sped off, and came back with a doctor. She was pleding with him. "i know you hate me, but please, please help my friend!"

 

Sessamaru shook his head, his long white hair covering his bone-bleached skin, his green eyes, pupil-less and constantly shining, were closed by his obsidian lids, his black lips parting for every cough. "This one is fine... Just something he inherited from his Father..." Sessamaru answered, keeping his ailments secret. Nothing can cure it... Nothing...

 

Shiarra looked at him, worried. "You don't look fine!" The doctor just shook his head and walked off. Shiarra called after him, "No! help him!" She looked down in defeat. "He isn't coming back..."

 

Sessamaru stood up, his body languid. "This one is well... It's the people..." He spoke, his snow white face now visible in the sun, his obsidian lips and eyelids visible upon the slated skin. His green eyes shone brightly, pupil-less. He stared at her as he wiped his lips with a red silk hankerchief "This one is alright..."

 

Shiarra hugged him. "I'm so glad youre ok!" she said.

 

Sessamaru hesitated. He hadn't had a hug in aeons. He returned the embrace, and quickly subsided. "You should not worry about this one... Where to?" He asked, remembering Shiarra's predictament.
