Shiarra saw something shiny in the water. "Now, what is that?" she asked. She plunged her hand into the cold water and pulled out a sword, shining prettily. It had black markings on it and a brown handle. A gold piece was there. It looked like it was pointing to the sword on it's sides. That had black markings on it too.
"I love it!" she said. She found its holder in the water too (how convenient! XD). she attached it to her belt. "Aw, now my gloves have to dry!" she said shaking them off. She put them in the sun.

 

Sessamaru was already behind Shiarra in an instant, looking into the water. "So, these waters are cursed..." He whispered, his cowl low over his face to keep the sun out.

 

"I found this sword!" she said. "And dont worry, the water's fine. Seriously, i get my water from here all the time, and so does my family. I guess we are immune to it." she said shrugging.

 

"Omis..." He whispered, his eyes flaring a brighter shade of green, incoherently blinding anything that looks directly at them. The water was a murky brown in this vision, and it seemed very poisonous with the faint amber-green tendrils. "This One thinks it is purified when it touches soil..." He explained, turning as his eyes flaring light dimmed to his normal green eyes, which were hidden under his cowl.

 

Shiarra looked down at it. "How do you do th----" she stopped when she heard a rustle behind her. She grabbed the handle of the sword, but didn't take it out. "What was that?" she whispered so low, you had to be really close to hear it.

 

His sensitive ears twitched at her whisper and the rustle. He clutched his sakabatou, not intending to kill whatever it was.

 

Shiarra took a step forward, her fox instincts taking over. Her steps didn't make a sound.

 

Sessamaru stood his ground, his black cloak silently dancing about his body. The wind died, but his cloak still danced as if it were alive.

 

Shiarra took her sword out and walked slowly closer. She was less than a foot away from the bush, but she saw nothing. She reached out her hand and touched the bush, thinking it was possesed. A demon jumped out. She yelped like a fox and slashed out with her sword. The demon dissapeared.

 

Already in motion, the blurring figure of Sessamaru drew both sakabatou and crystal shamshir, beating the demon high into the air with daring combos. Already in mid-flight, he appeared above the demon, slamming the dull tip of his shamshir into the demon, drilling the creature down. Retracting his crystal blade, he side-spun his sakabatou, breaking every rib in the creature's body, along with its spine upon impact. As Sessamaru landed in a blur but lightly as a feather, he was already off, striking at every demon band with incredible speed.

 

Shiarra quickly followed after, slashing down demons along the way

 

Sessamaru zig-zagged across the Demon Half, dispatching demon after demon with such ease and accuracy. Seeing a large blue skinned demon, he blurred behind it, turning around, and lunging forward, beating the demon across the way he came, flying like a large cannon ball as something kept it in perpectual motion. Sessamaru kicked it forward, knowing it to be completely broken and helpless. He stood there, blades at the ready, his stance casual and deadly.

 

With one last strike, the last demon around was slaughtered by them. Shiarra waited for a moment, looking for more. There were none that dared to come near. "That...was....awesome!" Shiarra said, putting her sword away.

 

Sessamaru held his head down, coughing violently. Blood flooded from his lungs to his lips, huge puddles of the sanguine liquid upon the ground. "No life should die..." He spoke, reminding himself why he did not kill the demons, but badly broken them to immobility. His eyes darted left and right. "We should get going..." He said, coughing once more. He wiped the blood from his lips.

 

Shiarra looked at him. "There you go again. What causes you to do that...cough up...blood?" She asked.

 

"This One has been sick since birth..." he whispered, regaining himself as he stood, languid.

 

"Ah." she said walking over to him.
