Add more Square Enix?

Do you think they should add new Square Enix related worlds to Kingdom Hearts like The World Ends With You , Dragon Quest , Ect.?

I'm against that. There's already a good enough balance between Disney worlds and non-Disney worlds. If they added Squeenix worlds, they might as well be creating another Final Fantasy. And part of KH's appeal is how Disney can actually co-exist with FF. So, I say no. It's good as is. :huh:

 

No, more Square would make it too much like Final Fantasy. I would just like them to take out some of the cheesy Disney moments in the game.

 

Naw, I think it's gd enough the way it is. Anymore would screw up the storyline.

 

I agree, anymore square enix and then people really wont like it. Saying they just re-stuff the Final Fantasy series, and blah+whatever = stuff we've heard before.

Sora,Neku,Kairi and Shiki all look too similar. Could you imagine the disaster you'd unleash upon the worlds if these two pairs met?

(Not to mention the Fandom. X_x [Is dreading how many KH/IAWW /It's a Wonderful World/ crossovers she'll see], IAWW is the japanese title as the english one looked like a jumble of letters off a scrabble board. XP)

I feel there's enough Square elements to Kingdom Hearts already. People (at least the ones I know) are more familiar with Disney movies, then Square Enix games. If they started adding in more games from Square other then Final Fantasy, everything will be a confusing mess.

 

I dont see how it would be more like Final Fantasy if they added Dragon Quest considering Dragon Quest is pretty cartoony...

Well think of the reason they added Disney worlds in the first place!

I for one thought they made Kingdom Hearts because all that Square had been creating were mostly teen rated (hence final fantasy)

but for kingdom hearts they decide that going along with Disney would be a great idea and they would also get a lot of hype because who doesn't love disney characters?

Hmm...well it would be difficult to add more Square-Enix really because as others said, some characters really do look like others in FF games. Also, I think the characters of Sora, Riku and Kairi, and the others that are humanish, the Moogles and all are meant to be the new FF sorts of characters going through Disney worlds to give it that affect of new realms. Going through FF realms, as fun as it might be for some of us, would well, force Square to do stories on those worlds after the games or during them...and then if it is during a game, say like in FF 7, it's as Cloud is going to Nibelheim etc...it would just mess up the continuity of the original game. If it was after the games, I could see it but even then, it seems rather difficult with how many characters have been crossed-over to Kingdom Hearts as cameos. I think it's better as it is with the main characters going through Disney worlds because it's far easier to mess with Disney movie history and yet look cute than to dive in and mess with FF worlds and have fans being far more **** about it. Do you really want Donald and Goofy pairing up with Cecil? I just don't think it would work so well.

 

Actully I don't think it would mess up the continuity of the FF games. Kingdom Hearts is obviously set in a different dimension to Final Fanatasy as Aerith is still alive, Yuna is a chibi, Tidus is a 13 year old who she never met, Squall is called Leon and has never met teen Seifer or little Selphie. So that wouldn't be a problem. Also, whose watched a Disney film and thought, "Hang on, that can't happen. Sora would of stopped it!"?
If you're going to accept the changes in Disney you'd have to accept the changes in Square too.

But I think Cloud and Sephiroth are going to have to go their homeworld eventully. They can't keep appearing in random Disney worlds.

 

i want much more other square enix games, but then maybe remove some other stuff. like make one final fantasy world from one final fantasy game, and then instead of having cloud, sephiroth aeris, tifa, yuffie, cid, squall and etc moving all over the place, just having cloud, sephiroth, squall, maybe tidus and yuna and why not Riona, and then just some other main characters from the FF series and maybe some other good square enix games. just not too many characters from the same game, it's boring for those who sadly haven't played the games! >_> (i hadn't played FF7 or FF8 when i played KH1... i did before i played KH2, luckily.)

 

just a pinch more of square enix.......... remember the darkeness in alantis in kh2

I don't think a Naruto or a .//hack world would be good. I like the idea of it being like a fanfic crossover with Disney/Final Fantasy with the ocs being Sora, Kairi, Riku etc.

they need some popular anime worlds,but NOT POKEMON OR DIGIMON,so help me god that would ruin the whole franchise.

 

Really, I hope they never sell out and add other anime worlds into it. I think it would destroy the games rather than make them any better. Naruto is a great game/anime of its own but has no place in KH. Neither does Pokemon, Yugioh etc. There are plenty of FF games and Disney worlds to draw from and a lot more can be done with those two elements. It was founded on these two realms of possibility and I hope it stays that way. Other Disney worlds to be explored could be Prydain, Snow White's World, Cinderella's World, some of the Disney Grimm Fairy tale stuff, etc. Disney has made a ton of movies both live and animated. There's just no need.

 

Why would they put in Naruto? He and Sora are like the same person... idiots who can fight.

 

*Snicker* Sora never screams "BELIEVE IT!!/ or DATTEBAYO!!!" at the top his lungs, does he now? Atlantis is the next disney world I have to see. I mean, they've [the development team] has already showed us that they're fully capable of doing the odd ziggy-zaggy lines of Atlantis. They did so with Sora when he became digitized into Tron's world. And just because he got "downloaded" does not mean he can go to the digital world and get his own data partner.

If we are to go to a Final Fantasy world, I want it to be somewhere that has relevence, but it won't drive me up the wall. Say a really cool spell upgrade, and I'm not talking "curaga" or "magnega." Give me like the "holy" spell or something. It's light and can easily drive back the heartless.

[Don't say Ultima, as that has been the name of Sora's final keyblade for three games now. Only by a miracle will they add that spell into the game.]
