I have Google Chrome with Ad blocker and as of a few days ago I've had Ads popping up and I don't think that's a good sign. What should I do?

    Run a malware scan.

@Sean B. reported the same issue a while back. Something here might help.

It seems to have stopped for me on Google Chrome when checking things as guests, though I always just ignored them and exited out of the tabs. However, earlier on Mozilla Firefox (my default browser), a tab opened to some Webafan Global Consumer Loyalty website. I just ignored it and closed it, though. Whatever this is, it seems to relate to whatever you're doing. Like, if you're on YouTube, it might be something about a video editor.

    Thanks Amaury ^.^
@Misty You said Malwarebytes in that thread- is that free? Because I'm paranoid and I'd like to run a scan because if anything happens to my computer I'd cry.

It's free, just go through the installation process very slowly. You'll want to skip or uncheck any pro trial versions or additional software it'll try to bundle with it. But yes the free version of malwarebytes works very well.

Thank you all so so much. I ran the scan and I apparently had 200+ Malware O.o

So I'm going to leave this software on my computer and run it every so often.
