"It's nothing..she should be done by now." Takashi concluded as he headed to Ichiraku's, glad that he had gotten to her in time before anything really happened to her.And then he remembered he didn't exactly get her name.She looked very cute, but she and a guy like him? I forgot to tell Kinen I also need a woman that's both strong and can bear kids..not one so afraid.Maybe it was just in the moment for her. he thought as he looked back at Eva. "What is your name? I'm Takashi Hyuuga."

 

Eva inclined her head. "I'm Evangeline, or Eva." she smiled slightly, following him. There were undeground rivers....that would be very useful, if she got into trouble on the streets.

 

"...Nice name." was all he said as he arrived back at the stand, motioning for Eva to sit down beside him."Can I get you anything..?" he asked her, still looking at her fully.Chest,lips, waist and all.

 

Eva looked at the menu, then smiled, sitting next to him, but not too close. "No thanks, I don't really eat."

OOC: If a guy did that to me, he would be on the ground.

 

"..You don't really eat?" Takashi questioned as he turned his attention away from her, focusing on the Ramen's aroma instead of her.Maybe she wasn't as strong as he had hoped originally."I won't ask..you're not from here, are you?"

OOC: well his job is to find a nice girl..that or an arranged marriage..god forbid xD

 

OOC: I'll give him a new job >8D

BIC: Eva shrugged, smiling inwardly. She knew his type. "After what happened with my parents, I taught myself not to eat as much. Food is hard to steal." She called the moisture from her hair to her hand, and started forming shapes with it.

 

OOC: That job being? XD

"You don't need to steal this meal..and what happened to your parents, if I may ask?" Takashi asked silently, looking toward her now.

 

OOC: That's for me to know ^_^

BIC: Eva smiled, turning the droplets to form a cloud, then a key. "I don't remember. I just...woke up by a river. They probably abandoned me." She smiled slightly, poking the key with her finger, making it form a mountain.

 

Takashi watched her closely, seeing the mountain formed.It seemed that the most unique characters were always the ones abandoned."..You've accepted it, right?"

 

Eva nodded, then clenched her hand, the water droplets forming a ball. "It's the only way to move on. I hoped when I was younger, that they would come find me." She shrugged, then twirled her finger, making the ball spin.

 

"...They might be out there somewhere..hold on to that thought if you'd like to find them someday." Takashi said softly to her.It was good she accepted her fate though;

 

Eva smiled, watching the water globe spin. She could get lost in it....."If they are out there, they don't want me. I was left for a reason."

 

"..Ever think it wasn't safe for them to keep you where they were?" he asked her, keeping his eye on her globe..not THOSE globes :P

 

OC: rotfl

BIC: Eva shrugged. "Yeah, a couple times. But then why wouldn't they give me to someone else?" she eyed him, grinning as a thought occured to her. The globe inched toward his face.

 

"They might've gotten killed..or maybe there wasn't anyone they could trust." Takashi watched the water orb come closer to him, not finding it a threat.

 

Eva shrugged, still smiling. She gently let the water orb graze his cheek. It would feel solid, like glass. "I've given up long ago."

 

Letting the solid ball of liquid touch his cheek, Takashi grabbed her wrist and narrowed his eyes at her."..Giving up?..it's still a possibility they're out there..I could understand if you were older but as young as you are.." he released her wrist and looked away.

 

Eva didn't lose control of the orb, but flinched when he grabbed her. She pullled her wrist back to her chest, rubbing it self consciously. "What else is there? All I've had is my hopes and dreams crushed every single time."

 

"..I plan to be the Hokage, and every time I think I'm close I'm defeated each time..but I'm not giving up.At least give your parents one last chance.." Takashi said, still looking in the other direction.

 

Kinen smiled at the conversation between the two. If only I had such a freedom to chat... but nooo, I have to run from a ****** who doesn't understand the words "not interested"....

Kinen got up, bowed to the ramen-don, and turned to leave. I know when I'm not needed....
