Alice in Dreamland

Rin stood up, looking down the path. "Why should I trust you?" She asked, curious.
The Cheshire Cat grinned, his eyes sparkling. "I made a pact with your brother so he is now forvever the Cheshire Cat. I would trust your dead brother if I was you..." He faded away, leaving paw-prints heading up the path.
Rin sighed and followed after the prints, hoping to get out somehow.

 

Tripping over his own feet, Daevon fell out of the thorny maze and into a new world of green. Grass the size of buildings reached up to block the sun, monsterous flowers swayed dangerously in the gentle breeze. Insects the size of cars scuttled about the ground accompanied by far stranger creatures. Worms with the legs of rodents and beaks of ravens floated in the air, dangling from the bicycle sized dandelion seeds. antlered snakes chewed through the vegitation before being snapped up by purple plants marching on three spindly legs, stinking for rotting meat.

The poor maniac had no idea what he was seeing, but he new that it was all something to collect.

 

"Watch your step." The Cheshire cat warned.
"For wha-" Rin tripped over some vines across the floor and stumbled, falling down the hill. Landing in the lake, she tried to swim up but the current was too strong.
The Cheshire Cat frowned and turned into Len. Len ran down and dived in, coming out, holding Rin.

 

Off in the distance, Daevon heard a loud splash muffled by the primitive chorus of the gargantuan creatures around him. Maybe it was something new to collect! Crouched in the underbrush, riding upon an antlered snake. The lunatic made it to a lake the size of a small ocean. Leting out a long whistle of amazement, Daevon's sole blue eye scanned the surface for ripples or signs of movement.

 

Len let out a loud meow like shriek. He had forgotten that he hated water now.
Rin slipped from his grasp and sank under the water. A large fish monster swam underneath her, ready to swallow her whole.
"NO!" Len shouted, diving for her. Grabbing her, he swam back up, splashing around on the surface, changing from a cat to human.

 

"CHOCOLATE PUDDING!"

Jumping into the abyss, Daevon found his collectables. To his dismay, some fish was after the same three creatures. No fair! Boiling with rage, Daevon charged into the fishes mouth. He tried to scream his disatisfaction, but all that came out was "blulb blargal bloop bloop!"

Len tried to swim his way to the shore, thrashing around. A massive leaf floated by, leaving him time to climb on and sigh with relief.
Rin coughed and woke up. Turning her head, she looked at Len. "T-Thanks...."
Len smiled then turned back into the Cheshire Cat. Shaking his fur dry, he started to look around. "Heh, lucky girl."

 

The giant fish broke the surface, throwing waves of water onto its exhausted prey. A hissing shreik flew from its throat before crashing on the shore, limp and lifeless.

 

Rin screamed and covered her head. Looking up after not being eaten, she stared at the dead fish.
The Cheshire Cat disappeared into thin air again, leaving Rin alone.
Rin glanced where the Cheshire Cat had been then back at the fish. "Hello?" She called over to it.

 

A bump appeared on the crown of the fish's head. It grew and grew until bursting, giving birth to a blood spattered Daevon, flesh, brain, and bone dripping from his lips.

Rin blinked, watching Daevon. "W-Who are you? Did you kill the fish?" She asked him, nervous at all the blood.
The Cheshire Cat's grin widely spread on the fish as he appeared again. "Questions and Answers are like Day and Night. They can't be together and you get both at different times." He disappeared again.
Rin frowned. "Oh, speak SENCE for once!"

Daevon wanted to speak, but he was told to never talk with his mouth full. If only his arms were free from that straightjacket he would be able to stuff the food down, Having no other option, he began to chew viciously.

 

Rin watched in slight horror. He must be mad..... Just like I am..... She stood up and waded through the water, over to the fish and Daevon. Climing up, Rin watched him again.

 

Sitting up, Kayla shrugged, then walked into the darker part of the woods. Maybe there was something she could make squeal. Even if only for a little bit. But in here she could barely see without light. Searching her pockets, she found a small match and lit it. Maybe there would be more light source. Or she could set herself on fire.

 

The monster killer was oblivious to the world around him. squishing flesh and muffled omnomnom's choked the his ears and deadened his senses. All that existed anywhere and everywhere was what was in his mouth.

 

Rek looked around the garden having been completely ignored by that girl. He soon came across two more. He walked up to them, vagueley recognizing one from a fairy tale. What was her name? Allison? Alice? One of the two. "Hello." He said, as he walked up to them, waiting for their response.

Eve turned her head, seeing a boy standing in front of her. She raised an eyebrow before standing up, her arms at her sides. It was odd. Where had he come from? Had she ever seen him before? She brushed her hair behind her ear with one timid glance at Alice before her eyes turned to watch him again. She was cautious, not quite remembering how to interact much with anyone other than her mother.


"H-hello..." She murmured nervously.

 

Noticing the girl's shyness, he chuckled and held out his hand, meaning for a handshake. "I'm Rek, what's your name? And do you have any idea why we're here, or where we are?" He asked, more to the other girl than to the one he held his hand out to.

 

"Eve." She mumbled, turning away from him and gazing up at the other stranger. She didn't bother answering anything else, knowing she had none of the answers he was probably looking for. She walked over to the fountain again, sitting down at the base of it and looking down onto the grass, pulling her knees close to her chest.

"Wonderland." Alice answered, jumping down from the top of the fountain and walking over to him, she smoothed out her dress again and held her hands behind her back. "You're in wonderland. Why? I'm not positively sure." She turned to Eve with a small smile, kneeling in front of her and tilting her head.

"But things aren't how they used to be."

After having time to rest and catch her breath, Beatrice stood up and began searching for her friend again. She heard people not to far away, so maybe one of them were able to help her out. She yelled to the nearest person. "Excuse me!"
