I've only seen it referenced as being 'part of a song' from Mary Poppins. I haven't actually went and tried to look in every dictionary ever published, but I believe it's not actually a word recognized by any of them.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, however, was at some point in time. ;D

EDIT: RoxasvsRiku beat me to it. However, that word was taken out of the dictionary already.

There are longer words that are still legal, but one of them is a place in Wales, and those don't count to some people. lol.

Yesh, caused by the inhalation of fine silica dust. "Pneu" denoting 'lung', 'silico' denoting the silica dust.

Just I know the latest revisions of Webster and other leading dictionary publishers have removed that word from their archives--since I had the nerdish incentive to check the several publications at my local library several years ago.

I believe it's still written in most medical dictionaries--for obvious reasons.
