Kingdom Hearts Allies' Low Health Quotes

This is trivial, I know, but I wanted to see what people think.

In Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, allies have quotes that they say when they're low on health, knocked out, etc. For example, Donald's low HP quote is a long "Owwwwwwwwww!" and Goofy's low HP quote is "Help!" (Kingdom Hearts) / "Somebody come quick!" (Kingdom Hearts II).

Low health is when the health bars are flashing red. In Kingdom Hearts II, allies would say their low HP quotes when their health bar began flashing red because they fell into low health, obviously. However, for some reason, in Kingdom Hearts they said their low HP quotes at half health; afterward, even when falling into low health (flashing red bar), it was just the normal "receiving damage" yells.

What do you guys think? Seeing as it's not like that in Kingdom Hearts II, do you guys think it was an oversight on the developers' part for the first game?

Its just improving A.I.

 

Like what Miles said, the A.I. of KHII is an improvement from KHI. I think it's a developer's oversight though.
