Well English girls are not half-bad IMO, but I prefer ours over them. Actually, I prefer our girls over any other girls in the world.

The reasons are obvious, the war on Iraq, U.S's greedy politics when it comes to oil, the feeling of superiority that U.S has and tries to show to the rest of the world (seriously? "God bless America"? lmao WTF?!) etc. etc but we also have to take some factors into account when it comes to occasions like the Russia - America rivalry. Also, there's quite a huge hatred towards U.S here in Greece for a variety of political reasons.

It's not a hatred or dislike towards every single American citizen, it is an occasion of dislike of U.S politics and behavior towards other countries. Maybe about culture as well. There are some really trash worthy things there.

Don't get me wrong, personally i have no problem,(What bugs me though about U.S is the whole clanish school system. Seriously why people are separated in teams like "popular", "nerds" and crap like that...?) but yeah, it has mostly to do with politics.

Seriously, do some research before you start a topic like this.

@Kubo: Aside from the fact that a lot of the women in Greece have a hideous taste and look like wh*res you can't judge a whole nation by saying things like "Italian guys are hot" or "Norwegians are fugly" Seriously, you just can't >.>

Well yeah :d But I'm talking about the average. The Brazilan/latinos have their strong points at their body characteristics, but the greek girls are better as a whole image.
And there's also the Italian girls. :D

Sort of ignorant to feel hatred towards people in a nation because of the politics and wars that are going on there if ya ask me. Are you talking about the nation, or the people themselves?

I thought the norm was that the Norwegian, at least the chicks, were some of the hottest in the world. D:
    Either way, not sure if I should be offended or not. ;-;

Oh this made me lol hard.
The British national anthem is called "God Save the Queen/King". So please, keep your "lol America uses God to show they're superior" crap.
Every country wants oil. That is not just the "greedy US politics".

Every culture has trashy things. I don't deny we have some interesting characters, but in a sense the "trash" culture extends to other nations as well - a song, for example, that gets popular in the US can get popular in other countries. Being a recognizable song in a genre of music, it becomes part of that culture.

This also happens everywhere. I have friends in countries outside the US and they all say there are similar cliques. It's more a part of human nature (survival) than anything.

I'd say the same to you. :v
Btw before anyone jumps on me, I'm not saying America is amazing (I am proud of the country - not the government but the actual country and being an American) but people will have different views on other countries depending on where they're from. Media skews things, it's just a fact of life.

I don't really want to get involved in this whole arguement, but I felt I had to say something this one. That really isn't true, I don't know of any "cliques" around my school, or do I know of any people who are part of any. Sure, there are friendgroups, but it's not like people still aren't with other people from outside their friend groups or have anything against working with people outside them or anything. I know for sure I'm not in any spesific clique. I really haven't heard much about there being clique's like that from friends I have in other countries or anything either.

It certainly does seem like a very American concept. (Of course, if there weren't cliques then Bully probably wouldn't exist, so it's not a bad thing! :'D)

    Swedish chicks > norwegian

To be fair I gotta agree.

I used to think they were only in TV shows liek fairly odd parents and Ned's declassified. :/

It might also vary from school to school, and perhaps cliques was too strong of a word but my main point was that there are groups of friends that are more prone to sticking with each other, and yeah some hate each other. But I don't really consider myself part of any group either, lol.

Exactly my point! I always thought clique's was something made up for comedy in shows and such. lol

A very American concept? If so, then I could say that the genre of "Rock" music is an American concept. B|

There are always "groups" of friends and such, but even in my schools that I've gone to (I'm in America, and I've moved around...A LOT.) The "clique" thing is just a high school stereotype that's blown out of proportion and glorified. Not saying that there aren't kids who are more popular than others, and people who kinda sink into the background. But it's not normally like, "WE'RE THE POPULAR KIDS."

But of course it's more exaggerated in American films, TV Shows, Hollywood, all that jizz. Though I've also seen movies and such from other cultures and countries who exaggerate the same thing. c:

The Beatles suck. I'm sorry but I have to say it. John Lennon was the only badass of the bunch. B| They were influencial but they weren't what I'd call musical gods. <<

What? Elvis made techno, not rock. You silly goose

Well, that's your opinion of course, a lot of people would argue that. xD
I myself am not a very big fan of The Beatles, but compared to most of the stuff from that time it's rather amazing. I can still listen to some of their songs, which is a nice feat

A large majority would argue against me. ;~; But I'm sure everyone would agree or should agree that John Lennon was the best of them. D8<
