america?

Cliques don't really exist imo, at least not in my school. Yeah there's friend groups but even those have blurry edges, I mostly roll with theater kids but I'm really a computer nerd myself, I talk to a lot of the academic athlete types too.

But really, America isn't all that bad, we've just got some whackadoodle people misrepresenting us. It happens to all countries every now then. Just like how every person from Afghanistan isn't a terrorist, how every person from Scotland doesn't play the bagpipes or run around chopping people's heads off for quickenings (am I the only one who watched Highlander?), how every person from China doesn't act like William Hung, every person from America isn't a fat ignorant slob.

Well, if we're going to go by why england 'hates' America... It's because of how you've taken away the Empire we once had. Britain was feared because of its power, and we liked that presume, but when America came in with big guns and ideals we got pushed from 1st place into a dung heap. A number of British people also don't like how Americanised we've become. We do so many strange, weird and stupid things that copy America that it's seen as taking away our cultural heritage and who we are.
However, some people do think that Britain is the boring countryside and America is the exotic capital of the world where the greatest (and worst) things can happen. It's a place where anyone can fit in, and people believe that they fit in there in some way. You Yanks bang on about that 'American Dream'! You know why there is no 'British Dream'? Because we're awake!
However the real American Dream isn't all that rue. You've got oppression of ethnic minorities and their exploitation in the work sectors, with financial debt being a problem that can result in immigrants becoming desperate and turning to crime. The dream of the situation for people on the outside of the USA looking in is that it is the best place in the world to become better off than you currently are. The reality, hoever, is that it's not easy to become secure in life, no matter where you live, even in America.

Norwegian lassies are very pretty. When I was there I didn't see many I would call ugly. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. xD

I can't say the same about the guys. I wouldn't say they were ugly but decent lads.

I don't think there are many Americans who talk about the "American dream", most of us know how unrealistic it is. And, just because Emma Watson wasn't born in Britain doesn't mean she isn't British, if she grew up there that would probably be considered her country.

Actually Misty we do. We're taught to play the bagpipes from a very early age and we're encouraged to carry a broadsword incase an Englishman (with the occasional Frenchman) crosses our path. I'm iffy with the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. =/ Certain things about that country I don't preferably like. I don't mind some of the people (AKA you guys) but I would never choose to live there, I'll visit and vacation but never live

 

When did I say that?I said they call themselves that, so no in fact there probably aren't any "gangsters" here.........
